Ayaartta Hotel Malioboro

The lobby was nice, the room was really nice, the breakfast had good variety and yummy little treats. Had a decent pool as well. The daily housekeeping was nice as they changed our sheets daily. When we checked out of the hotel they were happy to store our luggages for us whilst we go out and about. Had a decent parking area, which was very useful since we had rented out a scooter.

It was in quite close proximity to a local mosque, not to be insensitive but it does get quite loud. The breakfast was really nice although I wished they were kept warmer for longer. Also would have been nice if they supplied towels in the swimming pool area.

This was a good option for staying in central Yogyakarta. This is a good base if you want to see the temples in the area. We arranged for a guide to see both Borobudur and Prambanan and we could easily do this in one day with a private car. Its also close to the main shopping areas of the city, but just away from most of the noise. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially when booking taxis etc. The room was a decent size with a good bathroom and shower and was pretty quiet. There is a restaurant inside the hotel which serves good basic food and was conveniently open late, which helped us out when we were hungry and didn't have the energy to go out!

There is a small pool in this hotel but it was always full with kids, not a problem but it did put us off using it!

The staff was very helpful with any queries that I had. The location is excellent. 1.5-2km walk and you reach the middle point of seeing most tourist points. They allowed me to check out late by 30 mins.

Check-in was pass 2p, due to some issue with the key cards. One of the days I headed out late and asked for my room cleaning to be done but when I got back it still wasn't done. Sheets had stains.

Breakfast was good and worth the money, but just like any other buffet, the menu seems do not really change in variance everyday. Food taste was also delicious. Room was big enough and the interior was nothing special for such a four stars hotels, but the facilities and the services are satisfying.

The window's glass are not filmed, so people from the outside could see inside. Whenever we need to change the clothes, for example, we need to close the curtain.

The hotel is very well located close to shops and Malioboro street. We could walk to all places in Yogyakarta. There are restaurants and supermarkets close by, and the restaurant at the hotel was really good. The swimming pool was very nice on a hot day.

The only problem, which isn't the hotel's fault, was that there's a prayer every morning at 4am. Be ready to listen to it, and I guess there's no hotel in Yogya that has soundproof windows.

Location is good eventho not exactly in Malioboro but within walking distance to most interesting part of Malioboro and palace. The staf are great, fixing the toilet seat straight away after we complained. The room is big and clean.

Paid for balcony room with city view, but the balcony facing a big white wall. The pool is super small. Small mouled area on the ceiling.

Hotel provided good buffet breakfast with variety of Indonesian and Western food. Just walking distance , there are also a lot of local food. It is located one of the main street of the city, t is easy to move around by car/taxi.

The hotel is niceand the room nice and comfortable. The staff was very friendly.

The locación is good because the hotel is close to Malioboro Street, and most things are within walking distance. However, it is right next to a mosque, and prayer in the morning (5am) woke me up everything as it echoes a lot and can be very loud.

around 5pm, we could hear the Muslim prayer even with earplugs, humidity in the room but because of the climate

After backpacking around, this hotel felt very luxurious. Staff of course was friendly, breakfast was pretty diverse in terms of choice/quality. Room was big, clean and comfortable with a nice little view. And the location was very convenient with 7/11 shops accross the street, as well as little cafés and downtown tourist attractions very near.
