Impeccable service, especially in the breakfast area from Danielle and at the front desk from Fiona. Valet and doormen were helpful, kind, and friendly as well. The grounds are beautifully kept. The room was very spacious, quiet, and comfortable, with excellent blackout curtains. The beds, bedding, and pillows were very comfortable, making me reconsider the pillows I have at home. The bathrooms were beautiful, clean, and had excellent toiletries available. Florence's housekeeping efforts were of a quality rarely see anymore- bravo! The breakfast was fresh, with an expansive selection of hot and cold items, and absolutely delicious everyday! Superbly prepared omlettes or blueberry pancakes or fresh fruit, yogurt or a fine selection of meats and cheeses, parties, breads and cereals - it was the best. The staff were very kind and welcoming to our 3 young boys, offering hot chocolate with marshmallows each morning. We enjoyed that the pool area offered family-friendly hours. The on site gym, spa, salon and associated facilities appeared lovely as well. In room dining was prompt, with a beautiful presentation and excellent service.

The self parking lot pay kiosk and entrance/exit barriers had issues more days than not when we were there thought the staff were quick to ensure this was barely noticeable.

Loved everything about this property except for one thing: the ice cream… minuscule serving size & mediocre taste. Once you are here, you feel like every amenity is at your disposal. The hotel is a dream in every other respect. Great service & comforts await you. I can’t wait to come back, except I’ll be stopping by an ice cream shop & bringing in my own ice cream to take this experience to the next level. If you have kids, maybe you’ll understand the importance of having good quality ice cream at your disposal. I call it the great neutralizer. It evens the playing field, even if only for a moment. Maybe someone at the Intercontinental Dublin will hear my plea & usher in a new era of culinary greatness at their exclusive property & give their desert menu the dignity it deserves. Otherwise, highly recommended!

Ice cream needs much improvement. Poor selection & taste for this caliber hotel. Please consider a hot fudge sundae option. Please refer to Houston’s or Hillstones Restaurants in the USA as a template for excellence in ice cream deserts

The staff was very engaged. Everyone from the reception to the restaurant and the floor attendants was very friendly. I had indicated during the booking that it was our anniversary, so they left chocolates in the room for us, and we were very happy. Restaurant food was amazing. I would love to go again.

The only problem was that the room was so hot, we couldn't control the temperature. The bed was very comfortable but the sheets were burning. In general, everything was very good.

Fabulous room and amazing attention from staff. We were celebrating my husband's birthday and it seemed every member of staff knew, from the valet parking our car to the person checking us in to the person who brought us breakfast next morning! We couldn't have been looked after any better!

Nothing at all!

The staff were very friendly, the room was extremely comfortable and the food was fantastic. I was offered a complementary glass of Pomerol with dinner, which was a very nice and unexpected gesture from the staff.

We weren't offered coffee with breakfast. The parking was terrible, with 4-5 spaces being taken up by cars parked over the line, forcing us into the valet parking. Only 1 of the 2 keycards worked.

Overall, very happy with this hotel and if you can afford it, I strongly recommend it. Room was big (but was also expensive ;) . breakfast was very good. Staff very professional and friendly. Bar was good, didn't take dinner, so can't comment on that.

Only negative point was the bed. It was big enough but very old, so it had big dips in the mattress. For us the distance to the center was not a problem, but that you know it is about 20mins walk to the center of Dublin, but it is almost a straight line, so easy to walk.

5-star all the way. The surrounding neighborhood is posh, clean, and quiet. A stark difference from downtown Dublin. If your a family that simply wants quiet and relaxation, book here with no anxiety. The bed was probably the most comfortable bed my wife and I have ever slept. Seriously though!

A 10-15 minute taxi to downtown Dublin, depending on traffic. Otherwise, perfecto!

Everything was gorgeous, from our arrival with all the Christmas decorations to lunch to dinner to breakfast and in between. Family rooms were spacious. Food was lovely. Beds were comfy. Kids loved it too.

I liked everything, however: - The pool is cool. We swim a lot and it's probably the coolest pool we've been in in a long time. - Make sure there are kids robes in your room ahead of going for your swim so it doesn't delay you. With Covid, timings are strict (we didn't have them and had to order them so it delayed us).

Great staff at reception and very helpful with all queries. Exceptional food at dinner and breakfast. Bed very comfortable and room very clean. Room was a great size and proper shower facilities. Great selection at breakfast and staff very professional. Sanitiser and wipes provided, great to see

Large crowd at swimming pool and in jacuzzi. There was a note of allowable number of people permitted in jacuzzi but this was well exceeded with people from different families at one time in jacuzzi. My partner has a medical condition and felt quite uncomfortable in swimming pool with so many people. When we left the pool, there was nobody at the desk and nobody to control a situation if a situation had arisen that required medical attention. Coffee at breakfast was very poor. It tasted like cheap instant coffee you would find in a 2*/3* hotel. At the price paid for the room and breakfast I expected much better coffee. Overall a bit overpriced

We loved the room and the breakfast. The room was very nicely decorated and very comfortable. The staff in general were very helpful but at times a little overbearing.

We found the price of a glass of Sauvignon Blanc at €12.50 excessive so we only used the bar on the one occasion. Because of this we chose to eat out at Rolys and Kites each night of our stay as we like to have a few glasses of wine with our dinner and felt €12.50 per glass way over the odds.
