Hotel Centrale

- Hotel is small have to buildings old & new. We being lucky as we offer to stayed in the new building it was great with wide rooms & good size bathrooms - Excellent (air conditioning *****) 👌 during summer season. - clean - quiet - All met staff were super nice , helpful & friendly except one non smiling lady in reception. - reception staff Jessica and another blond lady "?" Name were super helpful & nice. - free parking - outdoor garden - location near lack como 5 min walk , where you can go by boat to city center - presence of few restaurants around 5 minutes walk - ice cream shop cross street 😋 - 20 minutes walk big market

- No room service - in room water provided only on arrival - old building has no elevator , small room & bathroom - breakfast was the same a long our 4 nights stay, no choices for cheese lover " only one kind offer", you can't order for egg apart of what is displayed in buffet

The hotel was centrally located for us to walk everywhere we wanted to go. The front desk people were extremely helpful. It was great to have a small room dedicated to an ironing board and iron.

My husband sent a piece of luggage with wedding guest attire in advance of our stay. He received an email saying this would be fine. The suitcase was refused because the reservation was in my name, not his. We share the same last name. This created much angst as we were on a cruise in the middle of the Mediterranean. Many phone calls to Hotel finally resolved the matter, but created undue stress.

A hidden gem a few minutes walk from the lake of Como. The family room on the 1st floor was spacious, with two bedrooms separated by a wall (without a door) and a big bathroom. There is a free parking and charging station for electric vehicles. Although we read that there was no lift, a modern elevator was added to the main building, which was very convenient for the guests up to the first floor. Good wifi. The staff was very helpful. The breakfast was excellent (no fried eggs) in a large bright room.

Soundproofing was not the best, as you could hear the showers and the doors. But convenience overcomes this flaw.

Friendly staff, clean and in a great location, lots of restaurants nearby and a very short walk to the lake for some stunning scenery. The hotel feels small and personal. Parking was convenient and it was easy to get around by car to visit lots of lovely towns and villages further away.

Unfortunately no in-house restaurant, small bar but not always staffed. Reception also was not always staffed and we had to wait a little longer than expected to check-out.

This is a stunning location with the hotel being a short walk to the lake and several restaurants. We were lucky to stay in a newly renovated room which had a well designed layout having a open spacious feel and was spotless.The breakfast buffet was superb and offered many options. The staff are great. Michael is a credit to the hotel and ensured we were looked after throughout our stay. Luca at reception was welcoming and we loved his sense of humor. This was a great 60th birthday present and we enjoyed it so much we stayed an extra night.

Only a view of the lake but that of course would have come at a greater costs than we paid.

This hotel has an updated, modern and sleek decor. The breakfast buffet was really good with lots of choices. We are a senior couple and we reserved the one apartment at this hotel and it was huge with a large terrace just outside the door. The beds were comfortable and the linens all white and hypoallergenic which is a must for me. We were able to access one channel in English which was helpful to hear our language in the evenings. Housecleaning was immacuate. Staff was kind and highly responsive to all of our needs.

Perhaps the water pressure in the shower could be a bit stronger. I have found that lighting for applying makeup is usually a challenge everywhere in Italy. Perhaps a magnifying mirror with built-in light would be helpful.

very nice stay!!! , very polite and helpful staff , specially receptionist , breakfast young waiter today extremely polite , very comfy bed slept like a baby, very good choice for breakfast , coffee from selfservice coffe maschine but very good , free parking behind hotel , room spotless clean , big bathroom with balcony, luxury towels, air conditioner set up for 24 degrees just the way you need !! we really did enjoy the stay and definitely come back probably in two weeks !! thank you

very nice terrace in front of the hotel but just missing some palm trees or some flowers there ?

Excellent location in the centre of Cernobbio, close to the ferry and many restaurants. Nice that there was a bar, and prices were reasonable. Staff were very helpful, and let us check-out slightly late. Nice big car park. Air conditioning was good. Bed was very comfy. Breakfast was good quality. Free water in rooms on arrival. Fridge in room.

No gym. A little more variety for breakfast would have been good (although what was there was good quality). No key cards for rooms (they were old fashioned keys which you had to hand in when leaving hotel).

We had a one night stopover with small kids in Cernobbio and continued south the next day so the location couldn’t be better. Restaurants are in walking distance, there is a big playground right next to the hotel and another one at the lake in between 2 restaurants. Breakfast was good, staff was helpful and the beds were really comfortable.

The air con was sometimes noisy so we turned it off

amazing location, literally a minute walk from the lake. such a pretty place and the hotel was immaculate and the rooms were so nice.

you have limited bottled water, and at £250 a night, the mini bar should be re stocked with endless bottled water, especially when it’s 35 degrees! small moan but it would have made a difference! also the smart TV doesn’t connect to the internet, so it comes with Netflix and you tube, but you can’t watch any of them! Again, due to the price of the hotel, I would expect this to be standard.
