The Smallville Hotel

Central location as I wanted, I felt very safe given the obvious unstable situation in Beirut. Lovely staff (from valet, to front desk, to room service, etc), all super friendly and professional. Got a pleasant free upgrade as well. Special thanks to Daniel and Rabih for accommodating my crazy schedule and dates despite the hotel being full.

I love everything from the location, which gave me quick access to different parts of the city. I loved my room which had a balcony, so I could sit out there and chill in the evenings. I loved that there was always a movie playing in the lift so you could watch something whilst making your journey up and down in the lift. Most of all, I loved the staff who were always available to help with changing currency, providing me with directions and just generally being there for me. I'd especially like to give a big shout out to the front office team, Terry, Selim, Barri, and Romy, for all their help during my stay. They were never too busy to stop and ask how my day was going or if they could help me with anything. A fantastic team indeed!

I didn't like that I had to leave. I wish I could have extended my stay, but there is always another time.

The amenities provided were top-notch, ranging from a spacious and comfortable bed to modern bathroom facilities and thoughtful room service options. One aspect that truly stood out was the exceptional level of cleanliness throughout The SmallVille. Every corner was immaculate, giving me peace of mind during my stay. The dining options at The SmallVille were superb. The restaurant offered a diverse menu, featuring a range of delicious dishes that catered to different palates. The quality of the food exceeded my expectations, and the attentive staff made dining a delightful experience. Furthermore, The SmallVille's location was ideal, with convenient access to nearby attractions and transportation hubs. It made exploring the city a breeze, and I appreciated the helpful recommendations provided by the knowledgeable hotel staff. Last but not least, the level of customer service at The SmallVille was outstanding. The staff consistently went above and beyond to ensure my needs were met, and their friendly and professional demeanor left a lasting impression. Overall, my stay at The SmallVille hotel was nothing short of excellent. I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a memorable and enjoyable hotel experience.

We stayed in a King Premium room between the 4th- 7th of May; the room was spacious, with a side view of the main street and lovely surrounding scenery. We were welcomed by Aida, the housekeeper on the 9th floor, who was the best. Aida's exceptional hospitality and warm welcome made our stay even more enjoyable. It's always nice to have someone willing to go the extra mile to make our stay comfortable. And not only Aida provided top-notch service, but also Rami Jarkas at the pool/lounge area. It's refreshing to see such friendly and impeccable service from the staff. It's the small things that make a big difference during a hotel stay, and the team at this hotel understands that.

It is conveniently situated next to the museum and the lively Badaro street. The staff was nice and helpful. The room very comfortable. Didn’t realize immediately that we had 2 breakfast options, including the ground floor café that is very convenient if u don’t wanna go for the full buffet.

The music was way too loud on the top floor restaurant, and we never felt swimming in the pool coz the resto was very much on it. A suggestion: if you wanna change the superhero decoration, why not leverage the imagination local young artists!

Check in was problematic due to current financial situation in the country so they did their best. However one member of check in staff let me feel the full force of her attitude which I felt was unnecessary and unprofessional.

The building is amazing the décor and welcome and the people and valet taking care of the car and the luggage and the front desk (check in and check out took like less than a minute) and the room service available any time and the room is spacious and nicely furnished (modern style, might not suit everybody's taste, but it's in the pictures when booking so everything is transparent) and the bathroom (shower) is impeccable and the bed (OMG) the mattress just perfect i slept so well and of course the pool/breakfast floor just amazing with the view on the hippodrome. all in all good value for money. also, the prices generally displayed everywhere lets you know where you stand so there are no surprises

the chairs and table on the balcony hadn't been cleaned, i had to clean the table myself and my wife refused to sit on the chair but i guess it's normal given the weather situation (wind blown sand and all)

Room was comfortable and with a lot of room for working. Also the bed and pillows were large and comfortable

Breakfast was not that good for a hotel of that cathegory. I missed a waiting area with seats at the hotel's lobby. It was not possible to have a sit if you were waiting for somebody.

Everything and everyone at this hotel is lovely. great atmosphere and spirit, wonderful rooms and facilities, food is good whether in room or at any of the many eateries in the hotel, overall its very welcoming and pleasant. This was our second stay at The Smallville and the place felt just as great as the first time (about 8 years ago).
