Four Seasons Resort Mauritius at Anahita

I didn’t have a good experience with the resort restaurants and the room service food as the restaurant was very expensive with not delicious food the Italian restaurant you will pay more than 300 USD and the main course will be very very little food you can finishing on one time ( one main course price around 60 - 80 USD) ., the room service food was very expensive and not delicious if you order burger its will be 80 USD and the pizza not fresh it’s a frozen pizza with bad taste and presentation . it’s a first time in all restaurants and hotels i paid around 40 USD for one of salad !!???

Amazing place, amazing staff and relaxing environment. They checked me early (I arrive @ 10:30 am and was @ my room by 11 am). Also, they offered me a late checked out @6 pm which is amazing since my flight was @ 9:50 pm. It was my birthday so the sent me cake and drink (non alcoholic). Always helpful and responded to the chat services on time. I wanted to dine in one of the resort restaurant but it was fully booked, but they tried their best and book me a table. The over all environment is heavenly relaxing and you will enjoy walking or riding throughout the resort. Club cars were always ready to pick up form any where. you can take boat form hotel to Ile aux Cerfs Beach and enjoy the day (free ride). kayak and many other water activities were complementary. if you have left over food they can wrap it for you and you can order to reheat it from your room (preventing food waste).

this will be the perfect choice if you think about relaxing time and not interested to leave the resort . The resort is little far from capital and most activities and it could take one hour or more to go places. however, they can arrange with taxi drivers to take you and stays with you for 8 hours. Privacy is not 100% in villas, once I found the gardeners entered my lawn from next villa without asking for permission "which is not suitable for me since I was swimming".

Just a whole other level, nothing else on the island comes close. I stayed in 5 different properties during my 3weeks in Mauritius and I travel .. well a lot... and it's very uncommon to see such an exponential jump in the level of hospitality... for let's say double the price of the other properties on the island which are already labelled luxury stays. It was truly another world compared to hotels half the price, and it was worth every dime. Couldn't afford a full stay there, but was well worth finishing my stay at this hotel and averaging with other properties, every other luxury resort seems like a waste of money now. The rooms, the facilities and the service are out of this world... the service compares to top hotels globally while every other hotel on the island has kind/well meaning but sometimes sloppy service. Hemma and Kamini took extremely good care of us.. everything was truly on point, discreet and tailored, cannot thank the staff enough. Nothing else looks worth it anymore when you've stayed there.

The resort is clean & big, very nice for walks and bicycle rides. Loved the water activities and the boat house crew services. Around 6 restaurants with different cuisines and different atmosphere and view, live performances were available too. Planned a candlelit dinner by the beach, which was the best we had so far (we asked for live performance; singer and guitarist which made it extra special). Meghna at the reception desk was lovely and exceptional.

services and food were very expensive and over their value. also, we have to book a day to 3 days in advance to get a table. very poor communication between the staff; everyday we have to explain the activities we asked for and check&recheck the booking status. not a clear beach, was full of rocks. hoarse-back riding was written as a property activity, however it was more than 2 hr ride away from the resort.

Special thanks for early check in! Amazing staff especially want to thank Director of the rooms Marie for all the help and very nice Sajihad from the beach. Everybody was super friendly. Remembered my full name by memory!) Cleaning 2 times a day, perfect tidy room every time you’re back. Good food, I preferred breakfast from the room service menu better. “Bamboo” is favorite from the restaurants, local food. Choice of beaches : one “quite beach” where I was always alone, very nice, name speaks for itself, the main one is big and also they have a beach on the island, where you can go by the shuttle. Amazing nature, truly.. This seasons can be short refreshing rains. Good spa with a really good massage and treatments. Everything for a perfect relax :) Thank you!

Our stay at the Hotel was incredible. The staff is extremely professional, helpful and kind at all times. Especially Vik and Brandon at the Bamboo Restaurant who always did everything to make our stay even more pleasant. The Food was excellent at all restaurants (we tried all of them) and the breakfast is truly remarkable. What really stood out to us, different to the many hotels that we have been to, is that there is an extra cooling area for certain food that is more sensible to heat. Therefore the wide selection of fruits and salmon, meat, etc is always fresh. The Villas are beautiful, modern and seem bigger in real life than in the pictures. Our Villa was very private and quiet which we liked. Housekeeping comes twice a day and they tidy up very well and are also very helpful (bring you a fresh towel when they see you come out of the pool etc). Theres also so many activities to chose from in the hotel, in fact you dont need to leave the resort during your stay if you just want to relax, eat good food and have fun. The private island has an amazing white sand beach with another great restaurant for lunch: water shoes, towels are provided. Also the Fitness Centre is really big with its own very long salt water pool and some fun extras like a boxing area and sn outdoor and air conditioned indoor gym. Water Sports are also available like stand up paddling, kayaking, water ski and different water rides. You can rent cycles from there and explore the resort, which is super fun. Overall we could not have been happier during out stay.

Distance from the airport to hotel is 1 hour to 50 minutes, Four Seasons very well known as luxury. There are 5 restaurants available in the hotel, we enjoy the breakfast in BAMBOO restaurant and the afternoon tea too, and the food in the INDIN restaurant are amazing. there are many activities you can do. water activities, sport activities. the weather was amazing. the villa we stayed in also well furnished, bed and pillow are comfortable. And the important thing is the staff, all the staff they are friendly and helpful.

the villas are amazing. the staff is beyond helpful and cheerful. Stephano from the teens club is a pleasure to deal with. the kids loved him. the spa is a piece of heaven.

Pros: 1) The view. 2) The quietness of area. 3) The private pool although it is only 1.3 meter and around 2.5x2.5 meters in area. 4) The kindness of the staff. 5) You can enjoy a leisure and relaxing trip without the need to leave the hotel. Unless if you want to buy some groceries.

Cons: 1) The TV screen is a little bit small in size and only one chair is available to watch the TV. I would recommend to enlarge and if possible to install in on an arm to make it possible to watch the TV on the bed. 2) The location is a far from local market I remember it may need 30-45 minutes drive. 3) I prefer if there is a grocery store within the facility with reasonable prices.
