BSEA Cancun Plaza Hotel

The rooms have a great view on the beach, it was clean and spacious especially when comparing the price with other hotel. The hotel has a very simple design which makes it easy to navigate, though some rooms are accessible only through steep staircases, to keep in mind for the elderly and disabled. One thing I really liked was a free safe in the room, that's really rare and appreciated. This is an hotel with a few annoying quirks but due to the relatively low cost you'll definition get a lot for your money.

Wi-fi is probably the biggest problem. It does not reach the rooms so if you're someone with a business like me who needs to answer emails and send documents daily, you'll have to go to the first floor garden to do it. English was also fairly limited with the staff, but enough to get basic information. The restaurant is quite overpriced and the options slims. If you want to get anything to eat I recommend taking the red buses higher north to the more popular zone to get both better option and prices.

My room was absolutely fantastic!!!!! Except for the steep stairs at the entrance, but it was manageable to bring suitcases slowly. Other than that, I had 2 floors for myself basically. Lots of space!!!!! The view was breathtaking, the ac worked with no problem, the location was pretty good. And the beach was much closer than it looked in the photos.

The staff could be a bit friendlier. The waiters at the restaurant were good, and the service was fast. But when it comes to paying for it, I think the check could be brought to the table instead of going to the bar to pay every time. And maybe the bill could be set to your room, it would be easier to pay for everything at once at the checkout I believe. Upon checking out I had to wait for about 10-15 minutes while they go and check the room to make sure I didn’t break or steal anything so that they could return my safety deposit. It was an amazing place but it felt like everyone was hungry for money.

Beautiful sea and beach. Stunning sea view from the window. Very good location close to everything, a convenience store nearby. Room was quite convenient, beds were comfortable, it was clean.

The hotel operates not the whole resort, but just some rooms - there are many airbnbs and other establishments in the same buildings. So, while the rooms are quite nice, they have little influence on common areas. The corridors etc clearly need some renovation. Wifi was very spotty and difficult to catch in the room. I also did not like the weird deposit system they are running, putting a hold for a larger sum the day before arrival, releasing the difference upon departure and then taking additional deposit for potential damages.

The location was good, the pool great and the room was big and comfortable. The beach was warm.

The restaurant closes too early, the fridge didn’t work and then changed it but it had a weird smell. The beach had rocks and very strong waves.

I loved the amenities. They have an infinity pool with walkable distance to the beach. A nice restaurant with beach view and good food. The rooms were comfortable and staff was very friendly.

There wasn't really much I did not like. Only thing that comes to mind is how tricky it is to navigate around as it all looks the same. Easy to get lost but not big enough to stay lost.

We had a Deluxe Oceanview Room overlooking the pool and beach which was completely awesome. There was plenty of space within the room and it had a kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave and utensils/plates which was so handy. The staff at the hotel were always friendly and smiling. Housekeeping was wonderful with requests and cleaning. Felt completely safe with security onsite. They were always by the pool area, front gate and patrolling the grounds. The staff in the activities office were so nice, always a supply of pool towels and advice if you needed it. The food and drinks at the pool bar/restaurant were good for the prices charged, especially if you don't want to leave the pool area and go elsewhere.

Beds were a little hard. Two nights before we left there suddenly was an smell coming from the shower drain so we called the front desk to let them know and he said that he would pass the message to maintenance. No one came or contacted us....so who knows.....

It has everything you need if you don’t want to leave the hotel, the security guard in the pool was very nice, helpful and polite, the staff in the restaurant was very nice and friendly.

The staff in the reception wasn’t very nice, you have to wait a lot to get the room, no body to help with the luggage, only “one person” can be in the office while you waiting to get your room and the rest of the family needs to wait in the parking lot you have to carry your luggage across the parking lot to the elevator and figure it out how to get to your room. the guard in the entrance was super rude.

Comfortable, spacious room with beautiful seaview. Hotel is a bit older but great value for money in Zona Hotelera. Lots of parking available. Restaurant just next to the pool was very convenient.

You need credit card to book. Debit Card is not enough. You also need to pay deposit on arrival. It was refunded so no issue but a bit strange. Wifi is non existent. However, I would stay again

Location is very convenient on main hotel street area. Security was very good and staff very friendly. Clean installations and the pool area was very nice.

The facilities are a little old, only one elevator was working and it looked like it needed maintenance.

The location front beach hotel, the hospitality special front desk Mrs Dolores. She explain the facilities with great customer service and professionalism. This hotel have a mini market, laundry room and a restaurant and essay access to ride the bus to the hotel zone.

Room are small. They don't have a coffee maker.
