Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Cancun Airport

The booking package its nice that have including breakfast and airport transfer. The room is comfy and quit. Nice facilities of gym and pool for short staying and relaxing.

Hotel have provide free airport shuttle bus, when we check in they told us it's just need 15mins tirp to arrive airport. The bus is coming late around 15-20 mins then we get the traffic jam that make us miss the flight And the driver not stop the right spot of termial 4, we have to walk around 8-10mins to the right terminal. We found out that it used always have transfer jam of the way to cancun airport The service counter should notice us that the road situation to the traveler ,then can make a better time arrangement to the airport

The hotel was very clean and the staff was very helpful and nice. Our flight was canceled and we needed a place to stay. Based on the reviews from booking .com is the reason we chose Fairfield Inn. There were a lot of people trying to get rooms and the staff handled it like pros. We even had the continental breakfast which was also good.

The only complaint I would have is we tried calling a few times for the shuttle to pick us up at the airport but we could not get through. The phone just rang and rang so we ended up taking an expensive cab ride. I’m sure it was because of all the calls they were getting from people trying to book a place to stay for the night.

I loved the complimentary breakfast everyday was something different on the menu, it was always nice and hot and delicious. I loved the two balconies on the 1st floor I was able to take tons of pictures with such a beautiful background. I loved the pool it was always so clean and blue I also loved the jacuzzi and the music that was always playing. I loved the little garden/ forest area you had down below near the pool area it was clean and a great place to take pictures. I loved the size of the room and how spacious the bathroom was also thanks for not having those overhead showers I can’t stand those things. The room was always quiet I could barely hear the outside and I appreciate that. The housekeeping always kept my room nice and clean, and the staff at the restaurant was always so kind and always kept the place so clean.

I didn’t like that there was a few racist guest there definitely felt a little awkward. I wish the corners of the shower area was a little more clean in room 211..

Very good location, close to the airport. Very friendly and efficient staff. We requested a quiet room however as the initially assigned room was a communicating one, we have been upgraded to a junior suite. Very good breakfast with a variety of food options. Spending some time at the swimming pool before heading towards the airport was great.

Although at the end things went well, the communication regarding the airport shuttle (from the airport to the hotel) could be improved. We have informed the hotel to receive information about the shuttle bus however we have never received a reply to our request. At the end and after our arrival at CUN airport we had to call the reception to arrange the shuttle.

The hotel is an airport hotel filled with people and airline staff staying one or two nights. Because of this they are very efficient at dealing with fast registration etc. The swimming pool is pretty good for an evening cool off dip or a morning wake up swim.

It was difficult to communicate with the hotel from the airport to find out the where and when of the shuttle bus at the airport. The hotel staff gave us the wrong bay number but by chance I saw the shuttle bus park 3 rows away from us. My son ate a hamburger in the restaurant and woke at 1:00am vomiting.

very convenient for the airport and also Avant Car Rental. The staff were very helpful particularly with my large amount of luggage. Collection from the airport ok, though some had waited a while. Remember to call their number when through arrivals and wait at the designated pick up ( it was 37 outside Terminal 3). Ignore all offers of assistance from the ‘helpful’ uniformed staff just after arrivals who really just want to sell you something.

the windows in the room would not open. The room ( and central areas ) were icy cold. Not sure whether the bathroom ventilation was functioning.

The breakfast was buffet style and included in my overnight stay. There was a large variety of options to please everybody.

The wait time at the airport for the complimentary shuttle was long. It doesn’t come regularly so one must call a number provided. Unfortunately wifi at the airport doesn’t always work so fortunately I found someone to share their hotspot with me. I was told the wait would be 5 to 35 minutes but it took 40 minutes and then we went to another terminal for other passengers so by the time I arrived at the hotel an hour had passed.

Friendly stuff, nice food at the hotel restaurant and comfortable room.

It shocked me that there was a dead bird right next to the pool (looked like it’s been there for couple of days), and 4 cleaners were just walking around and stepping over it, but not cleaning. When I pointed out the problem, they’ve just blown the bird away towards the bushes with a stream of air, but haven’t properly cleaned and disinfected the spot. There are kids playing barefoot, it might be dangerous, and just not a good look for a hotel overall :(

The hotel was exceptional. It was clean. The staff was very helpful and eager to share information. It was our first trip to Cancun. Exceptional CUSTOMER service mention for David at the in-house restaurant, Maria in the a.m. breakfast and the front desk staff day and night shifts for their help calling taxis and making sure recommendations.

I wouldn’t say I didn’t like. I would suggest that more security cameras in and around the property. Children were allowed to use the adult hot tub unsupervised and a 7 year old was in the elevator without a parent. That may be of concern.

A major thing; I got asked to resend payment details to a different link via WhatsApp. When checking with Booking.com they said this was obviously fake. No one seemed to know about it when I checked in, so I question how they got my number? A minor thing but I couldn't call for shuttle pickup so had to accost someone in the airport to help. If we could prearrange that, it would be great
