St. John Island View Pensionne

We didn't find the rooftop breakfast area until the last day but glad we did! Amazing views and a great way to start the day. Staff were super helpful and friendly and organised all our tours for us. Great location with good bars and restaurants in walking distance and a short tricycle to town or the surrounding beaches.

The first night was overbooked so we got an upgrade to a deluxe room, however it was downstairs near the staff area and very noisy. The bed was also super bouncy that for 2 singles sharing you woke up everytime the other person moved. We went to the normal rooms for the next 2 nights that were much better and decided to stay an extra night where we again were in a deluxe. This time is was on the top floor and was the best room we had there. Such a different experience from the first night!

St. John Island View Pensionnevis a cozy home away from home located along the main highway in Barangay Corong Corong. It has direct access to the beach which is just 3 - 5 minutes walk away. The hotel personnel arranged our land transfers from Lio Airport and from El Nido to Puerto Princesa. It provides Filipino and American breakfast choices. Further, the various sitting areas and the pool and dart area provide a relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommended for short and long term accommodation in El Nido.

What I 'd love most was the location it was sooo accessible to any place we wanted to go. The pension was well maintained specially with plants which makes it more fresh in the morning. * Staffs are friendly and accommodating. * They were helpful at all times and in arranging trips as well as tours. * The rooms were clean and excellent

*The kitchen guy seems to be not attentive for specific instructions in taking orders for food like breakfast. *No much view around * Most was the INTERNET SERVICE was slow and we don't have internet in two days...

The room is a good size, the bed is comfy and the fan worked so well that I didn't use the AC. The shower was one of the better ones I've used in the Philippines. Staff are very friendly and the breakfast is okay.

There is pretty direct beach access but other than that, the location isn't great... too far to walk to either Las Cabañas or Corong Corong. Fine if you have your own transport (I had a bike) but not ideal if you don't.

Wifi is weak and intermittent in our room, Needed to add repeaters around the area. For average built body, room is good, but for foreigners, maybe this is small for them. Air-conditioned is old and little bit loud for sensitive guest.

It's rates are reasonable... the staff are nice & cooperative. Wifi was very good also.

I'm their was plenty of mosquito... mynson & husband went home with alot of mosquito bites. The meals.are a bit.pricey... But the entire stay was good.

If you want an almost private beach next to a great beach club and great restaurants, the location is great, you can’t beat that! The staff was lovely too! They helped us booking our van and they helped us with our breakfast too

The place is clean, good location, great staff. The ladies are so kind and friendly. We had great time in El Nido

I gave the highest score, just one little note. The mattress are very cheap and thick. One part of my body was falling deeply even I am so skinny.

The property is very close to Vanilla Beach, to bars and restaurants. The staffs are very accommodating they arrange our exclusive transfer from El Nido to Puerto Princesa at a very low price. She instructed our driver to tour us in Taytay Palawan.

The room is quite small. They do not provide toothpaste and a welcome drink✌️. Even a small bottle of water will do.

Good location with a clean quiet beach behind with great sunsets. Very clean, very helpful friendly staff. Easy to book island trips with simple transport links to town.
