How quiet and unique it was as long as no practice or race at Estoril track !

The fact that there’s no eating other than breakfast at the property . Sometimes we were too tired and would have liked to something to eat without having to get in our car and drive to a restaurant. Also nothing but lounge chairs around the pool , needed some shady area but it was unusually hot when we visited and new furniture (lounge sofa and chairs and a pagoda arrived the day before we left) Inside needed hooks in the bathroom to hang bathing suits or towels . Towels were starting to fall apart . And a few more hangers to hang clothing .

Fantastic setting, beautifully designed pool area, the rooms were very spacious with comfortable beds, stocked bar fridge and huge bathrooms. The Chapel Bar was over the top, great design and the drinks were on a honour system. We were all hungry and the the “toasts” Joao prepared were amazingly delicious sandwiches. The service and breakfasts were outstanding!

One take away from the property was the adjacent race track next door. If you’re a F1 enthusiast it probably wouldn’t bother you, but to hear that noise all day long would be a bit much. We were out all day touring so it was no problem, but when there, it was quite noisy. The bathrooms are huge, but there are no extra hooks near the shower for towels, and no drawers or shelves for toiletry bags. Literally nowhere to put your toiletries, only on the edge of the sink, which was not adequate.

The rooms were very big and the lounge area was very cool. A special mention to how friendly the staff were, especially Sheila at reception who was not only extremely helpful but always very smiley and happy to answer any questions we had. She gave us great recommendations for places to visit as well. The pool area was very clean and the breakfast had a great selection. We were staying a few days for a nearby wedding but would 100% come back to this property so that I could explore the area a bit further. 10/10

Nice place with history. Breakfast was great and staff serving breakfast was very nice. Nice room and big bathroom, although bathroom lacks practical things such as a shelf to put your stuff on.

The first impression was not the greatest as the person at the reception hardly greeted us properly when arriving, something you would think is normal in such a small place, and seemed a little unprofessional in dealing with our check-in. There is not one single parasol at the pool. A huge bathroom and not one single shelf to put your stuff on.

This was my second visit to this amazing place... This time once again i really reasurd myself that i should honestly recommend every one to stay at this place . To start i made a mistake as i finished the booking for just one to stay... Was a special celebration between me and my partner... On the check out i was made aware of my mistake in the most amazing way to sort out my mistake. Paid the difference and i really felt that i was honestly understood . And the difference was fair... Forward more i went to the breakfast launge and asked if i could take breakfast to my room to please my partner... They were very attentive and supportive. The seclusion of the property and yet it's accessibilty to all the nearby places of interest and entertainment. All of the staff were extremely pleasant, helpful and attentive at all times. The setting of the pool was delightful. On site secure parking was a must and added bonus. The bed was comfy. The breakfast setting and presentation is superb. Eggs and bacon freshly cooked on request. The wifi was good and worked well.

The actual bedroom was perhaps a little smaller than imagined with nowhere to sit. However this was amply made up for with space outside. The sink plug in our room needs attention as it could not be closed to hold a basin of water. The jamming wardrobe door on the floor became annoying.

Liked the Staff...most of all. Sheila, Jauo (Front Desk)... I liked that it was an isolated gem. Yes, some race car noises at the nearby (Historic) Estoril F1 race track...my Dad raced, so I like that sound...not as loud as it used to be..! Great time there, so much that we doubled back for another night... Thank you

The heavy winds...outside. No Air Conditioning...bugs got in through the open window, bit my wife many times, buzzing kept us awake...

Beautiful views from the room and such kind staff, I was sad to only stay one night and would love to come back again soon. VERY nice room with a gorgeous bathroom complete with a heated floor! A generally lovely atmosphere.

I did not spend much time there during the day and everything was perfect for me but there is a nearby car racing track that you can hear from the property. With all the beauty around I can easily see being able to tune that out!

The penthouse was very spacious and well-equipped. The staff was extremely service-minded at all times. Breakfast was lovely and peaceful - great eggs and bacon.

We unfortunately had a lot of mosquitoes in our room. The staff did what they could and bought "repellent" stuff for the plugs, which helped immediately. You need a car to really enjoy the location. We thought the race-track around the corner was closed. However, they started racing on a Thursday at 9am.

The hotel is fantastic, as the pictures show, the music lounge it awesome, none stop mood music, bar with honesty book. Our room was small, but adequate. Breakfast was good, pool brill, overall look of chic boutique. Staff could not do snuff for you, very friendly. Ideal location for estoril track, but just a taxi ride into old sintra. Great stay.

Lounge bar and pool area. And the staff. They spoke English which was good.
