The Classic 500 Pentaz Executive Residence

I love the size of the place and the convenient location. It is 3-5 mins walk to the nearest metro. It is also directly across streets and streets of food places. There were plenty of cuisines to choose from. There were also cafes at the ground level which closes late should you choose to have supper. A convenience store is located at basement where you can easily get things you need. There is a pharmacy as well. Lotte department store is literally besides the hotel. Starcity mall beside that has plenty of food, supermarket, cafe, shops as well.

Wifi in the bedroom was a little weak. In certain area of the bedroom, wifi was almost non-existent. I had to use my own network for surfing the internet. We were given a lower floor room which did not have a view. The entire window across the living room was blocked by the Lotte Department. It was a pity because the living room window took up 70% of the window area. We left the curtains drawn during the time we were there, it was better than facing the wall of Lotte building. While it is near a metro, travelling to most of the popular tourist spots (e.g. Myeongdong, Namdaemun, Gwanghwamun, Hongdae) still requires a half an hour (or more) train ride. This could potentially put some tourist off. If you do not mind the commute then this would not be an issue.

Wonderful place, connected to the Star City Mall, which offers great possibilities. The hotel complex has medical facilities, a pharmacy, a convenience store, everything handy. We stayed in a spatial suite, yet very cozy. The staff always very kind. Not so central for tourists, but closer to many important places as Gagnam and Lotte World Tower Complex (not by foot, still needed transportation). Great breakfast.

some bathroom amenities were not available- showercap, body lotion. cleaner was too efficient and threw our food away immediately the next day even though we kept it wrapped. cleaner came in at 10am (not our request) when we were all still in the room, just to ‘clear rubbish bins and add toilet paper’.

It’s perfect for a long stay, but we have also done weekends here. It’s right beside Ttukseom park, less than a minute walk to the main subway line and plenty of shops and restaurants around. Great coffee shops in the building, a chemist and a bank machine. Really convenient and great helpful staff. When we arrived we had no way to pay the taxi and so the staff paid him and put it on our room bill. I don’t think I’d stay anywhere else when I’m in Seoul for long stays. The cleaning service is impeccable.

The corridors are too warm in the summer. The games room isn’t open to guests only residents and the pool is closed most times.

Very spacious, well equipped apartment. Circular layout of the room. Very clean and nice design. Although not in the prime location, very well connected to the main landmarks of Seoul. 2 very good restaurants in the buildings, one international (buffet) and one Italian. We strongly recommend both of them. Close to the department store, if one enjoys shopping. Very friendly staff, ready to help and provide advice. We also recommend booking the taxi from and to the airport, via booking.

Actually there is almost nothing. Maybe only the lack of a breakfast option.

The size was AMAZING. Perfect for 4 or even 5 people to stay. It was an open floorplan mostly and all the rooms were connected which was great. Living room had an 80inch TV and big couch enough for 4/5 people to sit on. The bedroom beds could also move up and down like hospital beds which was a nice surprise. It was also great having an oven and laundry machine with wash and dry functions.

It was a little disappointing that such a large suite doesn't have a bathtub option. Some of the furniture was also a little dated and scratched up. View also wasn't great. The view in the living room was construction and the bedroom view was another building. Still lots of sunlight though~

This place is extremely classy, beautiful and efficient. They are flexible, extremely helpful and courteous to guests, and I can’t praise the accomodation itself enough either: it really felt like an executive penthouse, with all the conveniences and everything we could possibly need either at our fingertips or immediately available downstairs or right next door. You could have an incredible trip just staying put right here and never leaving the immediate area. Amazing place. The concierge team, particularly Hyewon Nam and Charlie Kim went above and beyond to cater to our special requests and make our experience in Seoul great and memorable. They even held our bags for a few extra days without any issues at all, just as part of the service. I’ve been travelling for a month straight and this has been the best and most memorable place I’ve stayed. Highly recommended.

What’s not to like? It’s the perfect place to stay.

The cleaning lady through the week did very well her job and she is very attentive. I stayed on the 14th floor in the A building. If the manager see this comment, please keep this lady! The cleaning lady of the weekend shift, did her job, but did not clean the floor and was not good as the lady of the week shift. Location is very good, metro line 2 and 7 at walking distance. Different buses stop front of the door. ATM in the building.

I wanted to book a taxi via the reception. They recommended me of their own taxi (a van) which it cost 120.000 won to the airport (ICN) and told me that was a fix price. It surprised me when I arrived at the airport, the taxi driver gave me a different price (higher) AND didn't give my change back. It wasn't much, but what matters is the principle.

It was in a nice location & the “apartment” was quite spacious for 4 people. Housekeeping was very efficient & thorough & was very helpful.

The front desk staff were not very warm nor very helpful. This is not a traditional hotel, part of the building is also permanent housing for the elderly. So the concierge receptionist service will charge for anything out of the ordinary (ie needing extra bedding, etc). We tried to use the stove in the apartment & there were absolutely no instructions (in another language & when looking it up on-line, it was also for the wrong model). Please have extra bedding available in the apartment & instructions for the stove in other languages.
