THE RECENZ DONGDAEMUN HOTEL

Super easy check-in, helpful staff. Very comfortable beds, clean rooms and beddings.

The fact that hot water lasts for 30 minutes only, and then you need to wait for a whole 15 minutes for it to be warm again. Not a deal-breaker, but inconvenient at a hotel.

The room was clean and comfortable. It was quiet without street noise. It was easy to get to from the metro with my suitcase. There were a handful of convenience stores close by, and plenty of other options for food as well.

Using the metro, it does take almost 2 hours to get from ICN to the hotel, so it's a bit out of the way, and not super ideal if your main goal is to visit the popular tourist attractions, but is still manageable. Breakfast also closed quite early to me (Breakfast is 7am-9am), so I didn't end up trying it.

The location was great for what I wanted to do on this trip! Being closer to Achasan for the new year sunrise was perfect. It was just a quick bus ride away. The facilities and view of the city in our room were also wonderful. The rooms were always clean and I appreciated the special gift I got at check-in. I think it was a promotion for the new year, so I hope they do it again!

If you're also visiting during tour bus season, the hotel elevators can end up with a big line when you return for the night. It's definitely not a deal breaker, but after a long day of sight seeing, waiting 5 minutes for the elevator can be a (very small) drag.

The hotel's location was good, though it is not directly 'Dongdaemun.' It was very disappointing as I thought it was right in Dongdaemun.

There were areas in the room that were not thoroughly cleaned. The TV was not working and the wifi was really slow, I had a hard time working in the hotel room.

The hotel is easy to find, it is like 10 minutes’ walk away from the nearest subway station, and they offer slippers and disposable items like towels, toothpaste, and toothbrushes. Hair dryer is also available. So for most cases, the guest room suffices to be ideal accommodation. Besides, you can ask for adapters from the service counter, and you can deposit your luggage after checkout.

If would be better if they have usb charger interface on the sockets, but anyway, they offer adapters.

The hotel is near a subway metro station which is a walk distance. The facilities of the hotel are generally complete for a few days stay. The staff is polite and courteus.

The hotel is still relatively far from the main tourist places. The hotel could improve its cabinet or place to hang clothes especially winter clothes.

staff very friendly and Yumi help me with my check in patiently. The bus stop in front of the hotel is so convenient for me to go anywhere. in future I will recommend my friend and family to stay here. I’m very happy with the room size too. beside the hotel there is a cu mini mart and most importantly there is a self laundry just 3 min away from the hotel.

Good location, easy access to the city, big room, there was also some free services and gifts when we arrived to celebrate the new year

Hotels in Korea are a good option to stay in. Size - price and amenities are all ok accordingly to the price range.
