Hampton By Hilton Alcobendas Madrid

We chose this hotel because of its location close to the airport. One of our trips was delayed so we realised we would be stranded in Madrid, so booked online the same day without any problems. The hotel is about 4 miles from the airport and is ideally located if you need to be at the airport for an early flight. The room was nicely decorated in a modern style, with a lovely bathroom and a very comfy bed. Everything was clean. We had a room facing the road but it is a quiet side-road and there was no intrusive sound from outside. Breakfast was included and was either a continental or cooked breakfast. We chose the cooked breakfast, which was buffet-style and very good quality. Being a Sunday, people get up late here, so breakfast was a lively event which wouldn’t suit someone recovering from last night’s hangover! All-in-all a good choice, and would definitely stay again.

My wife, who speaks native Spanish, took a taxi from the airport to the hotel. This was a distance of 4 miles (6km) and was charged €45! This should have been no more than €20 at the absolute most. So it seems that, even if you speak the language, the taxi-drivers still rip-off anyone leaving the airport. Please just be aware of this. Absolutely not the fault of the hotel, just some timely advice.

The breakfast was very good, and so were all staff, reception, catering, housekeeping, etc. Modern hotel, very clean. The rooms were adequate and very clean.

The bedroom TV station selection was very basic, particularly for overseas, non Spanish speaking guests, and as the bedroom had no facility for allowing a window to be opened, fresh air was not available at all. The room during sleeping hours in particular felt either stuffy and warm with the air conditioning switched off, or if left on throughout the night, produced a “dry throat” feeling on several occasions. In addition, we are not sure why, but there appears to be a constant electrical “ clicking noise” produced, which comes from the electrical wiring system/ sockets or switches. This is noticeable when everything is quiet and you are trying to get to sleep.

Nice full fresh breakfast (eggs, bacon, salami, cheeses, muesli, nice coffe machine bagels etcetc) Nice longe, friendly stuff. The pool is good to have (not swimmable but great to cool down) The gym have nice machines (life fitness), tv, drinkable water, fresh towels inside the gym, and the AC system is perfect all the hotel. Big screen in the rooms with, international chanels. The terrace is ok, but not as nice as the lounge inside. FREE FAST WIFI ALL THE HOTEL..so. it was a nice stay. 100% recommend.

Charged me 17.50 plus because of my little dog. (Still dont know why) Plus i had to pay 150 euros deposit also because of my little dog. Why this hitel says pet friendly if you have to pay more because of dogs. Parking is free but if u want to park inside of the parking garage, you have to pay for it more.(not so expensive) The bar is...nah. The Aperol spritz for 12 euros is a 4 star hotel prize. The coffe with milk for 2.50 is little high to. But the menu prices is ok.

Wanted a hotel that was comfortable, allowed our pet dog to stay and within easy drive to Tesla Supercharger.. This fitted the bill. Car parking was on site and secure...we had a roof box. The staff were friendly and helpful. we were able to take our breakfast to our room as they don't allow pets in the dining room understandbly. There is a mall within 10 minutes walk for food and shopping. There is also an Aldi to the side of the mall. highly recommend the sushi restaurant on the way to the mall near the Aldi. Room facilities good with USB chargers for phones. shower good.

leak from shower cubicle and so bathroom floor became wet.

Adjoining rooms were awesome. Breakfast amazing. Coffees and juice included. Bacon and eggs, plus continental was so good. Beds amazing. Fridges we’re great and were empty so we could fill them from our trip to carrefour.Definitely going back on return. Showers very powerful and hot water a plenty.

One of the issues was the drainage of showers, it was slow. But the showers were actually amazing. We needed a towel stopping the bathroom flooding under the door of the shower. Also the room 312 flooded the disabled bathroom slightly but we did not worry as we used 310 shower was fine with a towel as stated.

Staff are really friendly, rooms clean, beds comfortable and the breakfast has everything you need. Swimming pool is small but enough to refresh yourself in summer and the best is the area besides it where you can have food and drinks

We went to the mad cool and because the organisation was really bad I have to say that location was the worst of this hotel, but un taxi is only 15min away from festival so nothing bad really on the hotel. Maybe they can offer a service to go back to hotel for people going to the festival? I wouldn't mind to pay for it...

I was traveling around Spain/Portugal with my 2 kids (14 & 19). We stayed in Madrid 1 night to catch an airplane at 6 AM. The rental car return lot was 15 minutes from the hotel. Hampton made a picnic since we needed to leave before breakfast was available. Rooms were clean and comfortable for the one night we needed to do our final packing.

None, the hotel was one of the better of the 10 we stayed in this trip.

Everywhere was super clean and very new looking. The pillows were huge and very soft. Breakfast was superb with lots of choice of cooked egg & bacon, cereals, yoghurt, fruit, pastries etc. Staff were friendly and everyone greeted you as they passed by. Reception were also very pleased to answer any questions. parking was ample and free just inside the hotel perimeter although we had to ask to make sure as we had to take a ticket to pass through a barrier.

For us non Spanish speaking, it took us a few minutes to work out that we had to use our room entry card to make the doors and lift open and work.

the location was just a few minutes away from the airport and was very quiet.

I stayed many months in Dubai in a HIlton hotel and gathered so many points, When I logged in my app, since this was a Hilton hotel, I found all I am at zero again since I didn't travel much in the last few months. Disappointing But.. the Alcobendas was superb. Great hotel !

Clean and comfy.

You can order dinner at lobby but stuff said that every evening there is specialty dinner that was not in the menu and it is ready from 20.00 o'clock but somehow other stuff didn't know that and we had to wait 3x10min until our stomachs were so empty we ordered from regular menu. There were problem that half of reception and lobby stuff couldn't speak English.
