Hotel Bed4U Bilbao

I like the hotel, but the location for my work was not the best. I really got annoyed because I always ask hotel with parking and breakfast, but they do not have parking we have to walk about 5 min from the hotel to be able to park the car, if you are working with some load and you have a kid is probably not the best location.

Parking conditions. I ask parking in my request and after a book the hotel I got an email from them to say that I have to walk to park my car, it was annoying from the hotel and booking, because I could not cancel my reservation. Just be honest!!!

THE INSTALLATIONS AND SERVICES WERE GREAT , PERSONAL EXCELLENT , BREAKFAST FANTASTIC , LOCATION IS NOT THE BEST BUT IT'S OK. ,

THE AIR CONDITION WAS CONTROLLED BY THE SOFTWARE AND WE WERE HOT ROOM ALMOST ALL NIGHTS. WE HAD TO OPEN THE WINDOWNS TO GET AIR.

Looks quite new, very friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast, comfy bed, good location in quiet area and rooms are well insulated from street noise. Small bar and seating area in reception, also served small meals and snacks so handy if you didn't feel like going out in the evening. The room was quite small, fine for one person but tight for two people. Probably fine for 2 or 3 nights with small luggage. The location is about 15 minutes walk to the main shopping centre and beginning of the old town (the receptionist warned us not to take a shorter route which goes through a less desirable area, especially at night). There are a few local grocery shops and a pharmacy and supermarket close by. Note, the first 3 or 4 minutes of the walk are downhill, so uphill coming back! Taxis are easy to find, about €8 from the old town back to the hotel.

Floor in room wasn't 100% clean, could have done with another sweep / hoover but it was OK. Walls seemed a bit thin, I had quiet neighbours so no problems but the walls shook a little when their door slammed shut.

The hotel was like new and very clean. Staff were young helpful and smiley and with my loose grip of Spanish and their better English resulted in a relaxed exchange. Breakfasts were great with decent coffee. Showers excellent. Both are key composites of every good hotel stay.

If I was being very picky I would have liked the hotel a bit closer to central Bilbao. It's still within walking distance but a little off the beaten track. Sensitive people may not like the slightly poorer post industrial setting down a side street but the hotel was still a very comfortable oasis. No problem for us. Bilbao felt a very safe city.

Spotless rooms, very nice breakfast with lots of choice, and absolutely lovely and helpful staff. It's not exactly located in Bilbao's premium neighbourhood, but didn't feel unsafe in the area as a woman travelling alone, and it wasn't noisy for the downtown location, either (it's definitely not "far from the center", 15 minute walk to the Guggenheim - seems like some people writing reviews have never been to a city before). The last 5 minutes of the walk has a few mild slopes, again, nothing to worry about, unless you are elderly or infirm.

The room layout was inconvenient, shower in the middle of the room, toilet separate from sink... The room was quite dark, so even during the day, you had to turn the lights on - however, I've found this quite common all over Spain.

The location was fine - easy stroll to the Old Town & Guggenheim. Quite close to the train station, although a bit of a hill. I walked from the Intermodal bus station, which was a bit of a slog with a heavy bag but still highly manageable (woman in mid-60s with knee replacement). The hotel appears new, everything is spotlessly clean; the staff are all lovely (and kindly spoke English); the 24 hour bar / cafe is great. The room was comfortable, air con fine, although I was never quite cool enough. No kettle or fridge, but otherwise well-equipped and a simple but lovely welcoming gesture. Wi-Fi was excellent. Shower was good - although not having a separation bathroom is rather odd. Overall, a great stay.

The hotel is beautiful and modern. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The place is extremely clean and well equipped. We had a really lovely stay and were able to enjoy exploring Bilbao.

Not a problem for our stay but the shower is in the bedroom and not the bathroom and the blinds on the window were very thin. The location is quite a bit outside the old and new town, about 20minute walk and the neighbourhood is not somewhere you should walk on your own or at night.

Good location 👌 We walked everywhere. Staf very helpful and smiling. We had only one breakfast 😋, but was very good 👍. Comfortable beds, clean rooms.

Rooms were generous in size and clean. Overall, it was very comfortable.

There was no hairdryer in the room so I had to ask for this at the desk. Usually, this wouldn't be an issue but the desk appeared to be understaffed or else they were just incredibly slow. I actually counted up all the time I spent waiting to ask or return the hairdryer which was just under 55mins for a 7day stay. Incredible waste of my time. To add to insult the hairdryer was appalling. It was the cheapest model I think they could have purchased. Tiny travel model which made excessive noise and produced little airflow. Very inefficient, I was really annoyed about having to wait at the desk just to ask for such a crap product. Really felt like I wasted part of my holiday waiting at the this desk paired with the slow proformance of the hairdryer.

The place was nice and clean. They gave us some little sweet treats on arrival and some water. The shower had a little window where you could peak into where the bed was or you could peak into the shower from the bed was and we found this really funny. Really great reception staff. Overall great place.

The location is a little out of the main touristy area of Bilbao. Walking around at night there were many loud, drunk men. Maybe not a place to be out and about after dark as a woman.
