Hotel 139

I never book anything of rating lower than 8.5 or max 8, so I was a bit worried about staying at Hotel 139 as it currently has only 7.4. However, it exceeded my expectations and I believe it deserves a bit more. Location is perfect - quiet neighbourhood very close to the beach and about a 10-min drive to the airport. Room quite spacious. We moved the beds around a bit to get one double and one single bed and got some nice extra space in our triple room. Bathroom really big, shower too. 2 big closets.

The beds were extremely uncomfy. A dip in the middle. Pillows were nonexistent even though they were there. It was just air. They should invest more in pillows and mattresses.

Great beds and pillows, good water pressure. We were surprised by this hotel overall given the price. It's such a cute beach area too - in retrospect I'd stay here and bus into Barcelona!

The halls smelled like cigarettes, and the way that the entry and patio doors lock behind you is a little uneasy since the hotel isn't actually staffed (all staff are at hotel 153). That's something I think they should change.

It's very close to the beautiful beach in Castelldefels and to many good local restaurants. Free parking is an absolute bonus.

We missed the instructions on how to check in, so we had to go back a little bit backward. But it was close by, so it's not a problem at all. Maybe the hotel can put a note on the door of Hotel 139.

I booked this hotel as an ultra last-minute, since I had missed my connection flight. Although the hotel is somewhat at a distance from the airport (15 minutes), I would definitely book there again. As I walked in at 12:00 PM (noon), the lady at the reception told me check-in was at 3:00 PM. I was so tired from hardly getting any sleep that I asked her if any of the rooms were ready. She was ever so friendly and discussed with the maintenance lady what the possibilities were. I received a room on the ground floor and couldn’t thank her enough. Clean rooms, comfy bed, A/C if desired, and window blinds so that you can sleep in a pitch black room. The only thing I’d recommend if you’re a light sleeper is bringing ear plugs with you, as sometimes a bus may pass in the street. Other than that, I slept like a baby. Thank you so much for brightening up my day!

Excellent location, near the beach, the Airport, restaurants.

I felt really alone because there was nobody of the staff at 139 (they tell you it is like that, but anyway, if you need to ask for a coffee or any question you must go to the other hotel which is really near)

location is superb, 1 minute walk to the beach and 10 seconds walk from the bus stop; very comfortable bathroom and great water pressure in the shower (I had poor experiences in the past in this department so I find myself paying a lot of attention to the water pressure 😅). Sunning terrace upstairs - brilliant!

Location to beach, able to walk to many restaurants, grocery stores and short taxi ride from airport. Staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Room with balcony is worth extra cost for more space!

Great central location and excellent large balcony with street view, quiet and great nights stay. Staff are friendly and very helpful.

Screen door to keep mosquitoes out.

really comfy bed. roof top outside terrace. beautiful sink with roses design. very convenient for the beach, restaurants and bars. a bus into Barcelona too.

Smell in the room, it seams there is a serious problem with ventilation when windows are closed
