Everything! Nothing was too much trouble for Lisa, Jose and their small team. The excellent information sent by WhatsApp and their advice and help before I arrived - they booked an excellent tour, a wine tasting and a wonderful quirky restaurant that catered for my dietary needs - meant that I was able to make the most of my short trip. The hotel is well designed, tranquil, comfortable and welcoming and the food offered is of excellent quality and beautifully presented. They have paid attention to every detail. I will definitely be returning.

First impressions were made by co-owner Lisa, you could not ask for a better meet & greet. Lisa is very warm & welcoming & also provides detailed information about the hotel & the city of Córdoba. Excellent start to our stay. We stayed 3 nights, the hotel is ideally located, centrally located to all the tourist attractions & places to eat/drink. The room we stayed in was exceptional, comfy bed, large, powerful shower, beautifully decorated & had all the amenities you could want/need & more. You can see why the hosts are so proud of their hotel. Upstairs from the ground floor room I stayed in had an amazing salt water pool with a relaxing common area for guests with a bar for drinks & relaxation during the day/night. Unfortunately with other commitments, we never experienced the food, must do on on our next visit. Being a small boutique hotel really enhances the experience & I would highly recommend. I will definitely be returning.

Three nights went too quick

Such a beautiful small boutique accomodation which has been lovingly restored and upgraded by its owners. You feel as if you have arrived somewhere very special from the moment you arrive. A warm, personalised welcome, welcome drink and information about the accomodation and recommendations for enjoying beautiful Cordoba. The rooms are small but beautiful, lovely bathroom. Delightful pool, patios and dining/lounge areas to relax in. The whole property is very clean. Beautiful breakfasts and small snacks available. Honesty bar. The most warm and welcoming staff.

Patio del Posadero is one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. The welcome we received was incredibly warm, and the hotel itself is spectacular - the design has been so carefully considered, it is truly breathtaking, and feels like your own corner of Eden. It is amazingly peaceful and quiet, given how close it is to the centre of Cordoba - just a 10 minute walk. Lisa and Jose are incredibly generous hosts, and they and their staff were always ready with lots of unmissable recommendations for what to do with our days. And the finishing touches - drinks and snacks by the plunge pool on the shady terrace, delicious, beautiful, handmade breakfasts in the breezy dining room, with award-winning olive oils made by the family themselves - are second to none. It is such a special touch that anyone who stays with them becomes known as 'Familie.' Thank you, Familie - we will be back very soon!

I had an absolutely incredible stay at this small hotel in Cordoba! The location was perfect, right in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore all the attractions. The breakfast spread was simply amazing, offering a wide variety of delicious options to start the day. The hosts were exceptional, providing a personal touch that made me feel right at home. They went out of their way to ensure my stay was memorable and were always ready to assist with any request. The rooftop terrace was a highlight with a small, cosy pool that provided a perfect retreat after a day of sightseeing. The attention to detail in the hotel's renovation and design was evident, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere throughout. I also loved the convenience of their parking service, making it stress-free to explore the surrounding areas. And to top it all off, the wine tasting experience with their knowledgeable sommelier was an absolute must-do, offering a delightful journey through the region's best wines. Overall, I can't recommend this hotel enough. From the perfect location and amazing breakfast to the great hosts and stunning rooftop terrace, it truly offers a memorable and unforgettable stay in Cordoba.

Not just a wonderful hotel but an architectural and design experience. This small boutique hotel was so unusual with everything you would want from a first class hotel but at an average price. Jose the owner and architect was totally attentive and made us feel welcome. Situated in the old town near sites and restaurants. The secure private parking was just around the corner. Breakfast was excellent with several courses served at our table. Tea and and coffee were available at any time on the plunge pool roof terrace. If you are planning a visit to spectacular Cordoba you must book this hotel. I could go on and on but try it for yourself. Thank you Jose .

Such a wonderful boutique hotel with amazing staff, superb food and beautiful facilities. We were greeted and looked after royally from the moment we arrived, which was two hours before check-in; it was not a problem at all and in fact we were given a tour and refreshments and left our bags at reception. The breakfast was excellent and this, combined with a full Cordoba wine tasting with an expert sommelier, provided us with a great taste of high quality food and drink.

Nothing really. If being overly picky, the children in the accommodation next door were noisy for a short while, which was out of kilter with the ambiance of the hotel.

The hotel is a beautifully renovated old building centred around a traditional patio. The shower was excellent. The breakfast was good with high quality ingredients, a bit like a tasting menu for breakfast! The location was convenient for all the sites. We didn't meet the owners but the staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Our room was quite dark which is understandable in a ground floor room in an old building but better lighting in the room would have been good. However there was a magnifying mirror which was handy when you don't have 20/20 vision! The breakfast was good with high quality local produce but we didn't realise it was the same set breakfast each morning. We only stayed 2 nights so perhaps there are other choices if you stay longer.

Excellent location for exploring. Beautiful boutique hotel, a great base to relax and recuperate after a day sight seeing. Enjoyed a few relaxing beers by the pool, a nice way to cool off from the heat! Hotel is beautifully designed and a pleasure to stay at. Lisa was a wonderful host who put us at ease and made us feel at home, she orientated us well with an overview of the city, sights and local recommendations.

Room was a little small for two travellers with 3 weeks worth of luggage, but made it work!

Most beautiful boutique accommodation . Only 6 rooms on site in a really interesting building . The plunge pool was fantastic after a very hot day sight seeing. Our check in girl Lucy was so lovely and obliging . After all that , the highlight though was our beautiful gourmet breakfast served with full explanation by Jose of the local sourcing of produce . We only stayed 2 nights and had to catch a train early morning after our second night so , very unfortunately , missed the second breakfast . Lucy was kind enough to make up a breakfast pack for our train trip

The ONLY problem we had was that we had booked a train from Ronda ( prior to accom booking ) which was scheduled to arrive at 6.46pm. We had not noticed the fine print on Booking.com advising checkin closed at 7pm !! So that did cause some stress worrying about the timing ( esp if train was delayed) . However , Jose , did everything he could to alleviate our stress and they stayed open slightly later to ensure we made it in .
