Hotel Oasis

The hotel is quite clean, especially I liked the shower. There was a pool but the water was very cold in the end of september. Staff was very friendly. Near the motorway so easy access to all sites

We got the room that is not so cosy as it seems in photos, it was with a small window with the view to the parking. The smell in the room was like someone has been smoked before us. Bed was uncomfortable.

Easily accessible hotel on the outskirts of Córdoba affording on-site parking and a reasonable walk into the old town (25-30 mins). The room was of a reasonable size and the bed was comfortable; the bathroom was also well equipped and a good size. Breakfast was plentiful and had a reasonable variety of options. There is also a pool on-site although we opted not to use this.

Noise could be heard through the windows - although this wasn’t too much of an issue for us as the outlook of our room was to the rear of the hotel. TV noise could also be heard from the adjacent room. Whilst there was a safe in the room no key was provided or offered. Storage consisted of a large open wardrobe and a couple of bedside drawers.

The Hotel is a pleasant walk from all the main attractions and if you do not feel,up to walking then taxis are cheap and reception will call one for you. The staff are efficient and friendly and do all that they can to make your stay pleasant and comfortable, for example we needed extra pillows for the bed and reception staff supplied them immediately. The other big advantage of this hotel is the plentiful parking spaces that are bigger than the spaces at most hotels and parking is FREE.

We did not find anything about the property that we disliked

This is a comfy little hotel with lovely staff and great value for money. A room with a balcony is really nice. Good on-site parking. The walk into the breathtaking city was fine but there was bus and taxi access too. The passing over of maps and tourist info on arrival was very welcome and thoughtful.

If I was staying here again I would take an electric travel kettle with me. Just a personal preference, not serving dinner till 8.30 is late to eat for older people although I understand that’s normal in Spain. Some of the City attractions/restaurants are closed on Mondays so worth checking. Only TV channel in English was a French news channel.

We arrive and the hotel is off a busy road and we were worried about the noise aspect. We found a parking place which is free at this hotel and real bonus in Cordoba. We were greeted by a lovely lady at reception who was so helpful regarding booking, breakfast ,where to go and distances to the sites. We were given room 114 and when we opened the door it was lovely, spacious, quiet, clean and comfortable. The crowning touch was it had its own little patio with table and chairs a sun trap. The room had a king size bed, another small double and a settee and still plenty of room to walk around. Bathroom clean, plenty of hot water, shower in the bath, towels soft and clean and nice toiletries. The walk to the roman bridge and Mezquita partly along the river took 20 mins at a leisurely stroll. We walked back at night and didnt threatened in any way. There is a lidl an few minutes from the hotel for water etc. We had breakfast at the hotel which you did not need to order the day before. Cereal, yoghurt, cold meats, eggs and some hot food like bacon, Selection of cakes, bread, fruit juice ,coffee and tea.

Nothing

Hotel is a little bit out of town (approx 3/4 mile to the old town) but this makes it quiet and the walk is flat and along the river for the most part.. There is plenty of free parking and the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The room was quite large and very comfortable to stay in. There is a private swimming pool with its own grounds (grass lawn) and this was very welcome when we arrived as it was very hot. We ate out in the evening but had a few drinks in the bar later on - these were very reasonable, as was the continental breakfast the following morning - plenty of choice and no need to book.. All in all, a very enjoyable stay with easy access to the stunning city of Cordoba - it is extremely likely that we would book again as we intend to go back and explore that area some more

There was no tea / coffee making facilities in the room - this is not uncommon in Spain, and did not affect our stay, but it is something we prefer. The dining room looked a little tired - the food and staff were very good, and it was very clean, but the decor could be improved. This is a minor point and would not affect us staying at the hotel again

Spotless clean rooms, swimming pool was quiet and enjoyable, staff very friendly and helpful. Less than 5 euros in taxi to Mesquita which is free between 08:30-09:30 and 13 Euros after this so spring out of bed folk and walked in one day and on another drove to Seville. Plenty small little bars around hotel for drink and food. The restaurant was okay and had dinner one night and breakfast. Parking in hotel was good compared to some of car parks I've been in Spain ie easy without thinking you'll bash your car.

We were in restaurant for dinner one night and a couple who came in after us got served and we waited about 15 minutes for drinks.

This hotel is really great. Excellent value for money. Shame you have to walk across the car park to get to the pool. But once you do its all enclosed in. Although there was a bit of miscommunication over the times it was open. But that's the wonderful Spanish for you. And sun is on it all day. And there can be a wait at the bar to order your drinks and food, but who really cares when you are on holiday. The staff are great and the food is great. I am very particular and only know slightly more than basic Spanish. But they worked with me to understand what I wanted and provided it. I just can't recommend this little jem enough. I was only there for a couple of nights when travelling back to the airport. I would stay here for a week easily using it as a base. And that's a real compliment when I don't usually stay anywhere for more than a couple of nights.

This was the 3rd or 4th time we have stayed here. We slept very well in the separate beds with separate sheets and blankets. We don't do well in queen size beds with shared coverings, so we were happy to see the single beds. The patio with table and chairs were cozy. The breakfast for €9 was very good. The pool was great and much needed by 30°C+. The room had a safe with key. The hotel is also within walking distance of the Puente Romano (15-20 min).

Parking is a bit tight, but we were very happy that it is there and provided free of charge.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant is really good. They have good choices for the menu of the day during the week that is also available for dinner. The pool area was also good to relax and enjoy the sun.

The bedroom could be nicer. Maybe a little bit of decoration. Also, they didn't have an iron. If you want to relax by the pool in the afternoon, it's a bit noisy because of the 4 lane street in the back.
