Great location in Alhambra. Very friendly receptionist and waiters. Beautiful old traditional hotel with a really nice courtyard for breakfast. Stayed in the superior room with balcony which is really nice. Despite an issue mentioned below we would still recommend the hotel.

We had a problem with a lot of dead and dying ants and sandflies falling through the ceiling onto the bed. Maybe the attic had been treated previously with insect killer but the issue was excessive. 30 or more dead insects fell onto our pillows while we were sleeping at night with more falling around the room so my wife woke up with dead insects in her hair which was very unpleasant. The receptionist was great and called a specialist who erected a plastic canopy that day which solved the problem. However, I was very surprised that we werent offered any discount at checkout or even a free coffee for an apology as we had paid a total of EUR 584 for 3 nights so it wasnt cheap. We were very understanding but some people would go crazy if that happened to them.

It is a perfect place to stay in Granada - cosy, clean, with GREAT staff and you literally live in the Alhambra. Everything was perfect and I cannot recommend it enough. Thank you guys for your attention to details, to your guests and for making it an amazing experience ❤️ P.S. I loved it so much I prolonged my stay for several more days. Don’t worry about the absence of the elevator - personnel of the hotel will help you to lift it to your room if you ask for it. The only thing you need to be aware of is that you will need to walk to the center of the city for about 15-20 minutes - passing the Palace of Charles V, Puerta de la Justicia and other beautiful historical buildings which is a benefit but could be hard for people who won’t be able to cope with that distance physically.

Location - We came to Granada for only one night because we wanted to see the Alhambra. We had tickets early in the day and we needed to be close to the entrance. This hotel is less than a 5 min walk to the entrance. It was very convenient. Staff - the staff were very welcoming and hospitable. Thank you Fernando for staying past the check in times to explain everything and take the time to give us a map to ensure we knew where we were going in the morning. Luggage - the hotel held onto our belongings during the day until we came back from our tour of the Alhambra. Clean - very clean facility! Restaurant - they have a nice little restaurant that we ate breakfast and lunch in before and after touring the Alhambra. It was convenient but expensive.

Check in times - this hotel does not have a 24 hour reception desk. I didn’t realize that until after we booked it. Our bus came in later in the day and so we didn’t arrive until closer to 9pm. I was in communication with the staff re check in and the facility does have the ability to do self check in, which we didn’t end up needing to do. And they did send us the information on how to check in just in case there wasn’t a person there. It worked out in the end! Bed/room - although the room was quaint and clean the bed was small and the mattress was uncomfortable.

Very quaint hotel, with a nice vibe. Only had breakfast, but this was very good. Late night staff arranged for drinks to be left in our room as the bar closes at 10Pm and we had chosen to eat in the main city and were back late. The location of the hotel is obviously perfect for the Alhambra Place. The staff were very knowledgeable about the different tours available and I wish we had booked our tour through the hotel.

Early morning noise from the Palace, but not the hotels fault. I’m being very harsh here!

The hotel was a perfect location right inside the Alhambra walls, perfect ending on the doorstep after trudging around Alhambra all day. The staff were all really friendly, nice and helpful. The hotel was a wonderful quirky/old mix of decoration/furniture and full of character. The rooms were clean, spacious and the beds were very comfortable. Our breakfast was included and was perfect with really good coffee!

Our only possible complaint would be that the restaurant was not open in the evening. We had to either walk to the Parador to eat in their very expensive restaurant or walk down the hill to find somewhere else. We opted for the Parador which was extremely good and only 100 yards away.

This hotel is on the top of the hill with the alcazar. Premium location. Convenient walking paths to old town/great views. It is like staying in a historical inn with new amenities. We worked our trip around staying here as our friends visited the prior year and recommended highly. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

It took a bit to find the property. Follow the small signs. Had to park away from the hotel.

Location perfect for visiting the Alhambra. We could return to the hotel for a break between visiting the various parts of the Alhambra. Reception staff couldn’t have been more helpful. There was a charming shaded courtyard where you could get drinks and where breakfast was served.

The bar was closed when we returned to the hotel after eating dinner in the town. Fortunately we could go to a nearby hotel for a nightcap. Although the waiter was most solicitous and helpful, he only offered coffee, orange juice, toast with tomato or marmalade for breakfast. There was a menu, and other guests had eggs and bacon rolls, but we did not seem to be able to access those dishes, I don’t know why! We speak Spanish, so it wasn’t a language problem!

A quaint hotel next door to the Alhambra. Lovely courtyard serving lunch and drinks.

A pity that the restaurant isn’t open for diner . After visiting the Alhambra it would be nice to sit quietly in their beautiful courtyard without having to look for a restaurant as we were only there for one night. Full marks for all the staff .

The location within the Alhambra is excellent (other than the lack of parking) and most of the staff were helpful and efficient, especially Angelo. The courtyard area is very pleasant. WiFi access was great.

You have to drop your bags off and then park 1/2 mile away in the Alhambra visitor lot. Also, the young man they had working the breakfast on our second day was a terrible server.
