Hotel Maydrit Airport

The rooms were sparkly clean, the beds comfortable. Close to the airport yet quiet. I also loved the smell of the soaps.

We were not able to take the shuttle to the airport and had to pay for our own taxi (mid morning). I would expect this at off times but not mid morning and the airport shuttle was part of why I booked this property.

Hotel is excellent. Rooms are spacious. Very nice to see fridge filled with different drinks and water, some snacks etc that's unique as most hotels have it empty. Everything was perfect except the restaurant 🤠

The restaurant should not serve any food in the evening. It was funny because the experience was so bad in terms of service and food that I thought id go and ask for wifi password to look for the restaurant around because it was getting ridiculous. While walking to reception someone was walking behind me. I asked for the password and while typing it in, I had this opportunity to hear this man ramping about the terrible service and he just wanted to go to his room and have his food delivered to him.. I understand it is hard to get good staff especially in hospitality but this hotel must have got really bad batch. Morning breakfast, different staff , amazing , attentive polite , all good.

I didn't like the fact that they drive to terminal 4 or to terminal 1 and 2. So I was.not.feeling good at time I had my transfer to terminal 4 and I booked breakfast och transfer at 7.30. Next transfer would be at 8.00 and they told me it was not possible to take.me.to.terminal 4. I could not get a refund for breakfast that I paid in advance.either. So I decided to stay little longer, eat breakfast and order an UBER to the airport. When the Uber arrived the lady at the reception asked if I wanted a ride to terminal 4. But before was not possible now was POSSIBLE? Please next time.try.to.help the client from the beginning because if you can not help we.make.our own arrangements.

This is a brilliant hotel, the location is perfect, close enough to the airport (with the excellent 24 hour free bus service) but in a lovely residential location and quite safe area. The staff are excellent, very professional, helpful and well presented. The breakfast is unbelievable, fresh and well cooked variations available. It sets you up for the day. The restaurant menu is also excellent and for an airport hotel priced very reasonably priced meals. This hotel deserves it 4*s. The rooms are spacious, clean and very welcoming. All in all this is one of the best airport hotels we have stayed in. Thank you to all involved in looking after us.

Nothing apart from not staying longer.

This is a comfortable and clean hotel with a nice breakfast buffet/restaurant, a free shuttle to the airport, and access to a metro stop (about three blocks away) that takes you to central Madrid without transferring. It is located in a quiet outlying area of Madrid. It was a nicer hotel than I expected.

The hotel shuttle runs on the half hour, so it took 30 minutes to be picked up at the airport, then we went to two other stops. It took about an hour to get to the hotel from the time we found the shuttle stop. You have to book your return to the airport. The taxis do not always recognize "hotel Maydrit" so you may want to be sure to have the address handy if you are using a taxi to return to the hotel from central Madrid.

Shuttle to and from the airport was a big bonus. Location of the hotel suited our purpose well within easy reach of the airport and the Metropolitano stadium. Metro station very close by as well as supermarket and other services. Staff very helpful. Hotel very comfortable and good standard of cleanliness.

The pool was a little disappointing as is smaller than we expected and there were only 8 sunbeds. No mirror in the room with access to natural light to apply make up. Only on the bathroom. Neither of these small points would deter me from returning to the hotel in the future!!

Clean and comfortable, and great restaurant.

I left my iPhone behind. The hotel refused to send it on, even though I was prepared to give them a credit card to cover postage. I had to arrange a courier myself even though it was being sent within Spain. This was very difficult to do from New Zealand,especially when I don’t speak Spanish. It has taken days to organise, and the phone has now been picked up by another courier company, and I have no idea where it is heading, as the hotel did not keep a receipt of the transaction. This is appalling after sales service.

it was convenient to the airport without having to stay at the airport. Quiet area, with access to supermarket if needed but importantly for the rest after a long haul it was terrific. the staff were great especially Karina with local knowledge on transport options. the shuttle service was also appreciated.

very few things, but watch the shower base as it’s plastic and potential to slip if not careful. I did have to ring to follow up on status of shuttle on arrival and don’t forget to ask how to identify the actual shuttle. It’s got specific colours at this time and wasn’t marked with the hotel name on side of vehicle.

Very clean. Staff were so nice! Free shuttle to the airport. We used the hotel room for the day before our late evening flight so it was perfect to have the pool for the afternoon. Paying for the room for the night (even though we didn’t sleep the night) was more convenient than finding a pool in the city and getting our way to the airport with all of our luggage in the heat. The staff let us check in early because the room was ready. Booking this hotel was the best idea ever!

There was not much privacy in the bathroom as it had glass doors for the toilet and shower.

We chose this hotel due to its free shuttle and location close to the airport. The shuttle even picked us up at the airport when we returned the car three days prior to flying. The other PLUS was its location close to a Metro station...2 blocks and there was an elevator. It was about 10+ stops to arrive in the city center. We did not eat in the restaurant but did eat in the smaller cafe - the food was good and the staff was attentive and friendly. The room was clean and the minibar was handy. The area is very nice and quiet; there was a dog park across the street for those with pets. The front desk staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly, too. We will definitely stay here again.
