Novotel Madrid Center

The staff is really nice, they went out of their way to make our stay special. All staff were very kind to us and our child throughout our stay, but the highlight was a special birthday surprise waiting for me in our room even though no one had asked them to do that. It was their own initative, and it was a complete surprise that really made my day. This really stands out given it part of a large chain of hotels. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and modern. Breakfast was great, lots and lots of options and the staff stays on top of keeping everything full and clean. Whoever is running this hotel is doing a good job, the staff is attentive and responsible. We had a great stay.

The Wifi signal is a little weak at times.

Walking in from the street, the air was so clean and fresh, with lovely moss art covering the two sides of the entry. The feeling is calm, refreshing, and the atmosphere relaxing, yet the staff is completely prepared to take care of the clientele. Very comfortable room and beds. We had three people, they set up a third bed for us. Room.service was delicious, fast, and reasonably priced. The pool and gym were just right for a quick stay. Within two minutes' walk are shops, restaurants, a church, and a bus stop going directly to the airport; everything you might need.

Elevators are very small and slow. 3 people with luggage was about all it could hold.

Exceptional service. Very welcoming and helpful staff at check in/out, breakfast and throughout the hotel. The room was beautiful with a lovely balcony area. We loved the bar and sun lounge area, with the fans blowing water mist it was the perfect hide out from the Sun! The location is a little distant from some of the more tourism based things during the day, but very close to 2 metro stops and easy to get around. Thank you so much for such a lovely stay!

Good facilities. Staff is friendly and helpful. We had a good time.

I asked to include an extra adult in my room. Told me there was an extra charge of 60 euros per night. I accepted. When I got the bill it was over 300 euros extra. The room had been upgraded, which was extra, and then the surcharge was added. I had not been told this until later. I have accepted this, but communication should be clear from the start.

The reception (Mr.Yuri) was outstanding. reception attitude to kids is amazing. The room size is huge even we were 05 person. There are 02 TV in the same room. The breakfast is amazing with a lot a lot of varieties. the hotel is busy and always full of people. ease of parking and direct access to hotel (parking cost 25 Euro). hotel is huge with many elevators. Good value for money.

The location is perfect for tourists. There is very easy connection with airport and more than one metro stations nearby to the hotel. Some of most popular touristic destinations are on foot-walk from the hotel. The rooms were comfortable, the bathroom is clean and with good size. There was hot water all the time. The breakfast was reach with food for every taste. The relax zone into the lobby was comfortable and safe. This hotel will be my first choice to stay for my next travel to Madrid.

The staff is nice, attentive, and very helpful; they worked to accommodate my requests. The bedroom is clean, spacious, and very simple, with comfortable beds. Bathroom is very clean, modern with amenities. Breakfast is great: plenty of choices to make, even gluten free and lactose free.

Nice room and amenities, staff was kind, 24h restaurant, lovely rooftop, location is nice and rather quiet, other than a few ambulances :)

Swimming pool was a bit disappointing (small and very shallow) but still nice to refresh a bit, there are no dressing gowns or slippers in the room sadly, bed was very squeaky which was a bit annoying, but overall we had a lovely time!

Location is fantastic, close to Retiro, to boutiques, public transport, etc. Red metro line will get you to Sol and Royal Palace in 20 min. The breakfast buffet had lots of variety. Staff were always helpful, professional and polite. We had dinner once at the gastro bar and quality was great. Kids are very welcome, the lobby is adapted for them to run around and play. Shower pressure was great and warm water would.come very quickly.

Room had no airflow. We opened the window, which helped a little. It was also a very dark room, that was located in the middle of the building (i always wonder if they give you worst rooms when you book through booking...). Most plugs were faulty, in the sense that the plug of your device would come out and not charge (we asked them to sort out but obviously they could not).
