Aparthotel Duva & Spa

Good location with beautiful views and only a 15 min walk to the beach. Room was a good size and clean with working utilitys, we didn't spend alot of time inside so was perfect for what we needed. All inclusive food was really good qith a wide variation. Entertainment throughtout the day and in the evening very good! Luciano was really lovely, made us feel very welcome and kept us eintertained throughout. He was so good with the children and went out his way to say goodbye when it was time to leave. Every hotel needs a Luciano.

On the night of arrival we were given plated food , house cleaning didnt take the used plates at all whilst we were there. House cleaning never cleaned the balcony area neither. Staff made us feel uneasy a few times, came across rude. We felt like paying customers were made to feel more welcome. (We were all inc) First hotel we have been to where staff wasnt very welcoming (apart from irishman - night staff, he was great!) The infants pool had missing tiles, child cut foot on a missing tiles. Staff notified but nothing done.

Very friendly staff,nice atmosphere.Good selection of food choice.Good daily /nightly entertainment for young children .Duva is a well run hotel. We arrived at 2 am due to flight delay and hotel had dinner made for us.In addition they allowed us to use all facilities after our check out times( which included all inclusive)It the above special gesture that makes Duva special hotel.We were made feel very welcome. There is nothing that we didn't like other then weak WiFi in rooms.But not a huge issues unless you have teenagers 🤣 It is about 1.5 k (15 min walk) to the port (main town) However not an issue for us as we had everything we need in the hotel.There is a pub and mini supermarket just on the corner of hotel street.

The sport enthusiasts dream - options of swimming pools, access to the basement gym, tennis courts, bike storage etc. Rooms clean and tidy. Stayed half board and both breakfast and dinner had plenty of options. Staff friendly and helpful.

Distance from the centre of Puerto Pollensa was approx 15-20 walk. More of an inconvenience in the evening as free shuttle buses available during the day.

Great perks, the hotel gave us a number for a company to hire bikes (multi hire) which we used for a day trip. The bikes were dropped off and picked up from the hotel. We didn't use the spa because it was too hot, but we used the tennis court and table tennis. The location was great, just a15 min walk to the town, with supermarkets on the way. The bus to La Palma and other cities is right outside the hotel, so you don't have to walk all the way to the main bus stop in town

The apartment was excellent and very spacious for myself and 2 teenage children. The bedrooms were large and clean and the lounge and kitchen was also large and well equipped. The gym was very well equipped and the free shuttlebus down to the beach was an excellent addition to the holiday as we used it to go to dinner in the evening, leaving the car at the hotel. The tennis club was also very friendly and well equipped with both tennis courts and paddle courts. The staff there were very friendly when loaning equipment for us to try raquetball. The hotel bar staff in the evening were very friendly and looked after us really well along with the excellent team on reception. The kids and i really enjoyed our stay at the hotel

Worked perfectly for us a 10 minute walk to the beach. Apartments were a good size, self catered and had enough pots and plates for any meal. Quiet surrounds and a sunny pool area. Minimal interaction with staff as no issues but all very helpful and friendly when needed. We didn't use the gym facilities so can't comment on that. We hired bikes from town so being on the outskirts was great for rides. Bike storage on site a big bonus. Ultimate Bike Hire Mallorca has a base at the hotel had we known before we would have hired here as very friendly and knowledgeable and we took one of his Swift bikes for a day for a great ride. On any return visit will use over a bike hire in the town.

The only negative I can come up with is no coffee pot in the rooms. Bedside lighting was a bit too bright and either both on or off.

The property was clean and in good localisation. Big enough and with eir condition, quite. Good pressure in the shower and the bathroom and rooms very big with lots of storage place. The staff working there was brilliant. When I need find the pharmacy late in night they helped a lot. In restaurant, the staff was very friendly. You could get a food next to the swimming pool much cheaper than in restaurant during the day. I can highly recommend this place, all my family enjoyed and would definitely come back.

We enjoyed our stay, the location was perfect for us. Outside the hotel there was enough space for free parking of rented cars. Breakfast and dinner buffet was very varied and excellent. Apartment and view out of balcony were as we expected. We also appreciate other services – the hotel gym was equipped much better than we are used to among hotel gyms and the entry was free for us. We also enjoyed on of the evening with acoustic live music by the pool.

All aspects of this accommodation were very good. If we could change or improve one of details, it would be the bed mattresses, which were much softer than we prefer -- but it is a common issue among plenty of hotels and apartments.

Overall great facilities and great location for active/sport holidays. Decent breakfast & dinner buffet with both healty and convenient options for every taste/desire.

Some of the facilities are rather old and lacking maintenance. The gym is well equipped, but a bit dirty and old machines as well. Staff were generally friendly, but some speak hardly english. Others didn‘t didn‘t care about our questions/problems of their partner companies (e. g., UBH, tennis).

Nice staff, easy to park around the hotel for free, nice apartment and terrace, very quiet (at least at this time of the year, in March) so a good place to rest. Nice and spacious bathroom with bathtub. The restaurant of the hotel was good, with good service and pretty setting. Indoor pool, jacuzzi and sauna are free to use for hotel residents. There is a small supermarket next door. Some of the hotel rooms have a view on the mountains, ours did not unfortunately.

The mattress was not firm enough. The walk to the center follows a rather big road, so it's not the nicest walk (15 min to city center). You need a swimming cap to use the spa facilities. The pool, jacuzzi and sauna are nice but the corridor between them is very cold and shared with the gym facilities (it's a bit odd to walk around in your swim suit while others are fully dressed).
