The area where this hostel is located just perfect, it's close to everywhere interesting. The bed was very comfortable and there where plenty of showers and toilets, so you don't have to fight for it in the morning :D Outstanding was the staff of this hostel. Kind and helpful with a lot of tips, they made made our stay in this hostel more special than we would've expected.

Just one small thing: hooks on the wall in the room would be nice to hang the towels to dry them, that's all. :)

While my first impression wasn't great, I really enjoyed my stay. The staff were really friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable, and there were plenty of bathrooms. There was also a nice little hangout/working space upstairs I didn't use, but I would definitely stay longer here.

There was no one to check me in when I arrived which made me worried I would have to sleep on the couch in the hall.

Some people have rated low for this property, but overall it is a great place to stay for budget travelers/ visitors who have just landed in Colombo or are taking a short stay. Its prices are reasonable. The room we had (Double Room with Shared Shower and Toilet) was clean, well maintained, and the strong A/C with no noise from it (Some reviewers have mentioned about AC noises, but we didn’t experience such noise). They provided towels and linens for us. Although we did not use it, there was a WIFI facility (I used 5G there for my mobile😊, so no need for WIFI). We checked in at night by informing them early. The staff member was friendly and guided us about the facilities. We could find the location easily as it is in front of the Liberty Plaza Kollupitiya. So, this was a big plus. Bus stops are walking in just a 05min distance. Close to grocery shops, KFC, burger king, food courts, supermarket, and ATM machines (in Liberty Plaza) there too. The location is very Central so I saved loads on traveling around town, literally in the middle of town. They should advertise that fact more.

.Breakfast and/or tea/ coffee were not included in the package. .You will have to climb a few levels to your room. .Please be kind enough to take shampoo, soaps, toothpaste, etc. because they did not provide them I think the reason for it was they are SHARED WASHROOMS. (But I’m pretty sure they will provide them if we requested). .Couldn’t get hot water for the tap (but the shower had hot water) .We could hear other rooms’ voices but I must confess it’s not an issue for us. But, I don't think anyone paying 5200LKR (with tax) should expect anything more for this price.

Location was good, near transport links, shops and restaurants. The room was large enough and bed comfortable with opening window. There was a nice common area with fridge freezer and cooking facilities. WiFi was excellent. The staff were fantastic, really helpful and gave good local restaurant advice. Would definitely stay here again.

Nothing

The location was ideal, one quick bus or tuktuk from Colombo. The receptionist was extremely lovely, he spotted us on the street and guided us in, reassuring us about the power outages, lighting some candles which was lovely. We were a group of 3 and requested to be all in the same room and they were lovely enough to give us a 4-person dorm to ourselves. it came with towels which was very helpful for our stay. A great stay if you’re just passing through, cooking facilities were basic, shower and toilet are there, however quite basic, but all you need for a quick stay. After departing I had realised I had left my speaker in the room, they were kind enough to call me to let me know and offered to keep it safe until I can return to Colombo to collect it. Overall a happy stay.

Host was informative and helpful. Across from the shopping mall and food court: Basic room, aircon worked, shared toilets & showers were always available.

Most budget places in Colombo don’t have windows. They have a small common room and kitchen upstairs if you need fresh air. My room smelled abit mouldy.

We started our Sri Lanka journey here, because it was so nice we ended our journey here too. The rooms are clean, the showers and toilet are clean. Everything you need. It’s not a 5 Star hotel but Malitha gives 5 Star hospitality!! So friendly and so helpful, this place will always be our Colombo accommodation!

personal is very friendly, helped us with our backpacks when we were leaving and we left our belongings at our last day as well at the reception which was very comfortable there was an air conditioner! first time at our stay in sri lanka ! we slept so good beds are comfortable and big there is a little kitchen with the pots so u can maje a tea wifi worked very good very clean , no incecta found there is also a hot shower if you need

the room is not so big but for the price you pay is ok

Great value for money! Clean, a short walk to the beach and they even kept our big backpacks, so we could go travel to the centre of Sri Lanka.

A bit noisy at night but it didn’t last long. You have to expect these things if you’re close to amenities.

I liked the place and the location as well. The staff were really friendly. I really enjoyed it. I recommend it to you
