Review Great location. Right on the beach and a very short distance away from the city centre. Our room was facing the sea and the view was incredible. The room was also clean and they changed the laundry also regularly. We stayed here for three days and they tried to give variety in the breakfast. The breakfast spread was also good. I must narrate a small incident that happened to us. My husband forgot his wallet on the beach in the night and the next morning around 10 when we were ready to go out, he remembered about it. We checked the place but it was not there. The owners and their neighbours helped us find it. Their smart and brilliant daughter Kida called up the place we visited the previous night as well as helped us in translating our problem to other visitors on the beach which was very instrumental in getting our wallet back. Special thanks to Kida, her charming mother and helpful father. Also appreciate the honesty of Albanian people. All in all, we had a great experience. I strongly recommend this place.

The husband and wife team who run this hotel were wonderful. They gave us a choice of 2 rooms to choose from. They gave us late check-out that we had requested and even offered Free drinks (that we didn’t take) while we waited in the lobby while waiting for our ferry departure back to Corfu, Greece. It’s just a short 1hr and 10 ten min ferry from Corfu. It was about a 10 min walk from the port of Sarande. Honestly, it was great. The only thing I found was that it was a bit expensive for Albania compared to other hotels. I’m guessing it’s because it was a Friday night.

Friendly cheerful owners of the hotel and the smartest Albanian girl Kida :))), amazing view from the balcony to the beautiful Ionian Sea, sleep under the sound of waves, The bed is large and comfortable, the room is very clean, the hotel is well renovated. thanks for the delicious tea and homemade jam for breakfast. Wonderful Albanian interior on the first floor and cheerful folk music during breakfast. Albania is a wonderful hospitable country that will forever remain in our hearts :)

We liked everything

The location was great, not too central so it was quieter and only 15minutes walk from town, had everything near by, Supermarkets, restaurants, great beaches. The staff were very friendly and nice. The breakfast delicious and they always tried to make something different for each day! Absolutely recommend it :)

The bathroom shower didn't have a curtain and it was very small so the water was all over after each shower.

The family at the hotel were all very attentive, kind and friendly. They were by far some of the warmest hosts we've had in Albania. The view from the balcony was exquisite and the laundry service was efficient. The hotel is also well located on the waterfont. Thank you for the pleasant stay!

Unfortunately, we found that the bathroom was quite cramped, with no shower curtain or cabin to keep the spray contained. The window in the bathroom also opened into the stairwell which wasn't very pleasant when one heard other guests walking by and talking. The breakfast on both mornings was quite stale and underwhelming. We found that in general our stay may not have been worth the price compared to our other stays in the country.

Great location, very close to the bay area with all the bars and restaurants (7min walk) and to the ferry port (5min walk). There are smaller and quiet beaches right in front of the hotel. So you can park you car in the hotel parking and avoid the the chaotic traffic. The staff is nice and the room had a super nice view.

The shower had no curtain or wall, so everything in the toilet gets wet and there will be water all over the floor.

Perfect place to stay whenever you visit Saranda! Best service, price and location! Right in front of the Ionian Coast (outside the balcony, the view is amazing:)) The breakfast was also delicious! This place was perfect for a family but there are different floors so it seemed suitable also for groups of friends. City center and other facilities are all nearby and the beach right next to the hotel is public which meant we did not have to pay like in private beaches! Water was crystal clear and perfect for swimming all day long! Parking is not a problem since there are plenty of spots in the hotel! Next time we are in Saranda, we are definitely choosing this place again!

The rooms looking over the sea were absolutely perfect and gorgeous in every way. The rooms were very clean and well-kept. The staff was friendly and helpful.

We had anticipated paying for the room by credit card but the credit card machine did not work on three different cards that we offered. So we had need to go find an ATM to get enough cash to pay our bill, which was a bit of a hassle. Also, we must’ve overlooked the fact that the hotel does not have a elevator.

The hotel was lovely and we had a lovely Albanian family welcome. The staff were amazing nothing was too much trouble for them. This was this first time I had visited but the 4th time my husband had stayed at The Piccolino and he wanted to share how lovely it was here. The room was spotlessly clean and it had a fabulous view from the balcony with a great beach just outside the door. In a quiet area but with supermarkets, restaurants and cafe's nearby. Breakfast was great and we had a very chilled and relaxing time. We can't wait to visit again.

The room was very clean and good size. The views and terrace were also very good, as well as the location. The personnel was very friendly and they let us leave the car in their parking while we visited Corfu for a night. It is a family owned hotel that care about their clients, and gave us good recommendations for our next visits.
