Place and Facilities. Most of all, kind and dedicated people in Diplomatic Hotel. Francisco, Conzalo in reception and Luiz in concierge were quite nice and supportive. Especially, supervisor Franco supported me a lot on the check-out date in relation to flight cancellation due to national strike of airport. One of the rememberable hotels in the history of my visit. Quite strongly recommendable.

Nothing in special

Everything about this hotel was above expectations. It was well located near lots of restaurants and parks. Everything is of a walking distance.

The only surprising issue was that one when I came back from my winery tour, I discover that housekeeping had plugged the kettle with the "on" button pressed which is utterly dangerous. I never use hotel kettle. I have also never encountered such a situation. I cannot believe that this was a negligence; I believe that the employee did that on purpose for whatever the motivation was. I mentioned the incident to Reception.

it is a good location in center of Mendoza. The room is very comfortable with the necessary amenities, including a safe. The public spaces are very upscale and spacious. They have secure parking.

The lighting in the bathroom is very dim and it is difficult to shave and do makeup. I was disappointed in the service at the front desk and concierge. We arrived at 11:00am and was told our room would be ready at 2:00pm. we were told they would contact us via cellphone when it was ready. The room was only ready at 4:30. We were exhausted due to early morning flight and this made our first day in Mendoza very difficult. The daytime concierge does not meet expectations. He was not helpful to find reservations for dinner. He directed us to a location that offered only beer houses and pizza. We discovered on our own the lovely restaurants on Sarmiento street, which is one block away.

Dealing with booking.com !! Had to shorten the stay by one night due to airline delays/ cancellations. Impossible to modify on the booking.com website. A total waste of my business time. Staff at hotel were brilliant but we had to modify the booking with booking.com. Terrible experience until I finally found the number of an English office where a polite lady finally helped me. The website is a shocker and the software needs an overhaul.

The staff helped fix all the problems caused by Booking.com. I had contacted Booking on multiple occasions and they did not help resolve the problems they caused or respond. Thankfully the hotel staff fixed the problems and averted my stay from being a disaster.

The service offered by Booking. Com. Serious errors with the bookings and failed to respond to multiple requests for help. I have stopped using Booking now as a result and am now booking direct with hotels.

Excellent stay! The hotel's decor is classical, with modern elegance. Friendly staff, our family felt very safe, w/ professional security doormen. Our corner room was spacious (family of 3, king bed and single bed, with lots of extra room), clean, and elegant, and a great view of the Andes. The restaurants are excellent, the daily breakfast provided a great variety of items, including sausage, eggs, cheeses, hams, good selection of breads, including sweet and tasty Argentine 'facturas', fruits, quality coffee, juices, etc... We loved the excellent breakfast. Location is great, 3 blocks from trendy Aristides, shopping, cafes, restaurants, lots of gorgeous plazas and parks all within walking distance. Daily evening free glass of Malbec wine is a classy touch they provide to all guests, in addition to the courtesy drink cards they give upon checkin for each family member.

Modern hotel with excellent facilities in a good location close to the downtown area of Mendoza. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. We had a twin room with two double beds that were really comfortable and our room was very spacious with large bathroom and excellent shower. We also had a beautiful view of the mountains. The daily wine tasting that was offered each evening was also a nice touch!

Door 1703 apartment was not closing properly. It’s too noise to push it because it need to be harder push. Also a free coffee to go station would be nice.

It's a 5-star hotel and everything matched that status. Breakfast was wonderful and plentiful

The difficulty in determining how much we were actually being charged due to Argentina's strange dual currency situation. As it turned out, we were charged the "blu dollar" rate, which worked to our advantage.

Clean safe and free parking

The staff was moderately useful. The concierge tried to offer is wine tours about 5 - 10 times more than cost. When we checked in there was no doorman to assist with luggage. The pool was tiny
