Location, only 7 minutes walk to the main square or to the peñas on Baquedano/train station. Rooms have enough space and you have lockers, good showers; the biggest perk is the AC. Many common areas available, some are shared with the customers of the cafe (not just for guests). Strong internet, kitchen available, dedicated work areas, terrace. WhatsApp group allows guests to comunicate and make plans for their visit. The in house cafe is very good, worth trying. The staff definitely made a difference; special thanks to Camila, but all of them are amazing. Overall, a solid place to stay while you are in Salta, specially for long stays or if you wanna spend time in the hostel and tale advantage of the great facilities.

Matress is comfortable but can be noisy because of the cover. Some bunk beds are a bit flimsy and move quite a bit if either occupant shifts positions. Some lockers were broken (no door, bent latch). Not many events are organized by the hostel besides the offered tours (probably because of the season). Selina tends to attract certain inconsiderate guests (not the hostel's responsibility but worth mentioning 🧐).

The common area is very cozy and modern. The roof of the restaurant can open, which is super cool. The staff is also friendly. The rooms have lockers, however, be sure to bring your lock. The hostel also offers some activities and you can book your tours directly through them.

Sometimes it can be quite noisy. There is a restaurant sharing a wall with the hostel rooms. There are shows late at night at the restaurant, which are quite loud. Also, if there is an event happening in the patio of the hostel, it will be very loud. In addition, in the patio it’s allowed to smoke. This is problematic since my window was facing the patio. Wifi in the room was very slow, at the reception it works fine

Great location and friendly staff

The property is nicely arranged with a welcoming and comfortable design, well located in Salta. we had a room for two that didn’t come cheap but was affordable. the staff was super welcoming and they even offered us a drink at the bar.

the property was very noisy. not so much because of other people, but it’s narrow corridors makes emojify every noises. air conditioning and exhaust pipes running outside bedrooms all together in a narrow corridor made a lot of noise at night. that was our downside of things at Selina.

The Selina is the Selina. Beautiful environment always everywhere, with amazing murales. It is clean always. We stayed in the dorm and it was perfect. Staff always helpful and there to assist you. We had breakfast included but it is from 7 am and the tours also start at 7 , you can get a desayuno box to take away with you though it is very basic and on our second day there we decided to try and get something in the morning instead ,however the tour guide was there at 7 o clock so we left sadly with no breakfast and no box. BUT we were able to have the "desayuno" when we came back, it became our dinner and it was great!! Happy we didn't get the box though.

If desayuno was from 6 it would have been perfect. The desayuno box is tooooo basic.

Just about everything: central location, super helpful staff, very clean, well maintained, comfortable bed and well functioning bathroom, restaurant serving delicious breakfast dishes all day, tenants also have access to a nice kitchen where they may prepare their own food! Highly recommended!

Smoking in the patio is very unpleasant for non-smokers, especially because many rooms only have windows facing this patio and cigarette smoke will enter the rooms.

Selina is in the perfect location. It’s close to the main square and on the same street as all of the penas. The hostel was clean, nicely decorated and the bed was the comfiest I’ve ever stayed in in a hostel. The restaurant was also very good and the meals were great value for money (especially the menu ejecutivo). Also the best coffee I’ve had since being in Argentina!

The only downside is that it’s next to a Peña which can be a little noisy at night but this didn’t keep me awake. Also the toilets in the restaurant aren’t very clean

Selina Salta was one of the best hotels we have stayed at on our road trip: - Beautiful architecture with a lot of greenery and working space. I can imagine staying longer and working from home there. - Wonderful and helpful staff. Special thanks to Gaston who warmly welcomed us and helped us with several things. It made a big difference to our trip. - Many breakfast options and a cool bar. - Walking distance to the centre. - Small shop indoors for basic groceries like water and snacks. - Clean rooms with air-conditioning. - Good price. We liked everything.

The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was good. They make an effort to bring people together, with WhatsApp groups, etc.

It’s a little bit difficult to work out who wants to socialise, what with the main area being a restaurant. Maybe a small event each night would be good to bring people who want to socialise together…

The vibes and friendliness. Also bed mattress where very comfortable and that the bathroom has it’s own blow dryer.

Being exactly next door to a Peña it was impossible to sleep til 2am that finished the music. It’s ok to be in a walking distance to go out at night but being in the middle of its not in accordance to Selina worldwide lifestyle of wellbeing.
