It doesn't look like much from the front but it opens out upstairs and my standard room was much bigger, well designed, and more comfortable than I was expecting. It looked out onto a busy road but good window insulation meant I was undisturbed. The breakfast room/terrace/bar (although hardly anybody seemed to use it as the latter) has a wonderful view towards Mt. Ararat. It's not bang in the centre: a 20-30 minute walk to places like the Cascade and Republic Square depending on mobility, and a 15 minute walk to any good bars and restaurants, but anywhere closer of this standard would be considerably more expensive. Good value for money.

Occasional power cuts, but probably beyond the hotel's control! No tea and coffee-making facilities in the room, although I belatedly discovered there were some communal ones in the main area of the second floor. Housekeeping is quite late (often around 5pm based on my experience) and a little cursory. Breakfast itself beyond the view is fine but nothing to write home about, although I understand the dinner options are rather good.

Super hotel in Erevan! The location is good, 15 mn walk from the centre and not far from Ararat museum. The rooms are big and nicely decorated. The staff is extremly kind and always ready to help, we appreciated that so much. We even got a small gift for our birthday. Breakfast is also good and given on a terrace with a nice view on Ararat mountain. See my picture which was the view from our balcony.

The construction of the building next door is noisy for some rooms. They allow us to change but this could be annoying but temporary.

The breakfast was exceptional, with both authentic food and international. The breakfast room lead to the patio with wonderful view of Ararat on sunny days.

The only thing we think may be better is the ability to boil water or make coffee in the room in the evening time, or just set up the place in the hotel with hot water and a coffee machine. You can go to the restaurant in the evening to get tea or coffee but it's inadequately expensive like 6 $ for a cup of tea.

Really nice and exciting hotel with a beautiful interior and a view of Ararat from the restaurant. It is located a little bit aside from the tourist heart of the city (but very near to Paradzhanov Museum), so it is very silent at night but you always need a little bit more walking. The staff was super friendly and helpful

There were dirty stinky glasses on arrival but it was fixed by first cleaning

Being my second visit to the city, this was also my second time at the hotel. The hotel is very clean and homely, located a little off the main city center (which we love - making the whole neighborhood less busy). The staff has always been accommodating and really professional. The restaurant upstairs is beautiful (the menu options are pretty limited, but it is great for the view, snacks, and wine). They also have a spa now which is amazing. Apricot Hotel has always been home away from home for us. Hopefully, we will go back again.

Even last time we felt it would have been better if every room had a kettle. So we could make some coffee or tea in the room. They do have a kitchenette on the second floor however, sometimes it is not as convenient to go to another floor to get some warm water. The restaurant upstairs has a very limited menu so if you are staying for more than 4 days you probably would have tried everything they have. The breakfast options are limited which was fine for us, however, this might be an issue for others.

When all of the recommended hotels were fully booked the night I was traveling to Yerevan, I was a little despondent. However now I am glad they were. I could not believe my luck at staying at the Apricot Hotel in Yerevan. I am not sure if this hotel is new on the scene or just an undiscovered gem but it was absolutely exceptional. When I travel, the main thing I am looking for is a hotel that captures the character of the place I am traveling to and Hotel Apricot did so in leagues and bounds. Elegantly carved Armenian designs in the furniture in the lobby are your first clue that your stay is going to be exceptional, followed by atmospheric antiques artfully designing the hallways. Each room is named after an Armenian who has made major contributions or advancements to their field with picture and information provided in the room. And that is all before you land yourself in the most comfortable bed you will lay in in your entire life. The sheets, the pillows, the mattress itself - I spent half of the next day talking about how comfortable the bed was! This should be a destination in and of itself! And if you do manage to pull yourself from the bed/cloud's sweet embrace in the morning you can reward yourself with the beautiful rooftop breakfast overlooking Mount Ararat. I could not recommend the Apricot Hotel more.

The staff at this hotel are incredible. Arpine on reception was really exceptional, she spoke excellent English, went out of her way to be accommodating, and was helpful throughout my stay - all with a smile and a pleasant demeanour. The hotel is also very tastefully decorated, and the bed was very comfortable. The spa facilities are of a very high standard, and reasonably priced.

I asked for an upgrade to a room with a bath tub, and the hotel graciously obliged, however the bathroom in my room smelt very damp, which gave the feeling that it was unsanitary (which I am sure it wasn't!) so for this reason I didn't even use the bathtub in the end. The breakfast

The bed was comfortable; there was a floor heater so you can walk around on bare feet with a nice warm floor; the heater works perfectly and you can adjust the temperature; the sunset from the balcony was spectacular; and the breakfast was good enough for me.

The lights/electricity was turning on and off for several times (almost like a disco light) but probably not within the control of the hotel I had a nightmare in my second night because of the portrait in the room; it felt like the painting was staring at me intently 😅
