Staff was very friendly and helpful about giving directions to restaurants and the lake for the drone show.

We weren’t informed the room has a shared balcony and a bit surprised seeing other people walking past outside the room. It’s not a big issue but if I’d have known I’d chose not to have the room with a shared balcony. Also wasn’t aware of pets are allowed, which is also perfectly fine, but if I’d have known I’d ask my room not to be close to rooms that have dogs (which some have barked a bit in the night).

The hotel was beautiful and the foyer was quirky and interesting. Our room was large and comfortable although it needed some maintenance, one bathroom had tiles around the bottom under the towel rails that looked like they had been kicked in and other bathroom had a hole above the power point that needed filling

We couldn’t find parking in the underground parking so we parked in the gated outside parking which was ok for us but I think $30 a night for parking is a scam

The room was well equipped, the room service responsive and a super convenient location close to lots of local eateries and bars. Having the cast feature on the TVs was useful for the quiet nights in. Staff were really friendly and helpful.

The room was smaller than anticipated, I had expected a larger room as it was a king. Only really room for a bed and space to walk around it. It suited our needs, but for the price I would have liked a larger room.

Fun theatrical setting, with a unique decoration. Spacious room, with desk, fridge , etc. A Very nice view from the ample balcony, specially at sunrise! Good bathroom with good quality ammenities. The best hair dryer!

The bed, soft matress, not good for our backs. And the NOISE from the room next to ours. Two nights , different gests had parties going on.... after calling the desk, they sorted the situation...but we had noise until almost midnigth TWO nights in a row... :( the food at the restaurant was very special and good! But there was no comfort food options, (a chicken soup?) wich we would´ve appreciated for a cozy dinner.

The staff were all very helpful and friendly (when we informed them about the plaster, she lady at reception waived our parking fees and was very apologetic). I thought the facilities & toiletries provided in the room were good, and the beds were very comfortable.

We found a plaster stuck to the back of our TV remote - unclear as to whether it was used or not, but it didn't fill us with confidence in how thorough the cleaning staff were being if that somehow went unnoticed!

QT has got a very good location. Pretty close to the city center (shops, restaurants, cafés nearby). Lake Burley Griffin within walking distance. Great interior design, amazing food in the restaurant.

There are some construction works going on at the moment but if you get a room at the back, it's fine. We had problems with the aircondition in our room but got a fan and you could also open the door to the balcony which was good.

Helpful staff, system was down when we arrived so we were invited to have a cocktail at the bar, which was good form. Bar and waitstaff were very knowledgeable and efficient, special mention to Ruby our waitress and Tom the barman whose interactions made for an exceptional evening. Food was exceptional, wine list was 'worldwide', restaurant experience couldn't really be faulted.

Beds. It's difficult to please everyone but both our beds had pillows that were way too thick, I ended up using a cushion from the lounge.

General staff presentation and communication was very good. I particularly appreciate the bar man that served us on Thursday nite 12JAN23. Very smart, friendly and very good people skills. He served us with full attention. Well done. I also like that the Neuron scooter were always outside for my nitely scoot through the city.

I didn't particularly like that the aircon in the room had a certain temperature of coolness. Canberra is very hot during my visit but the aircon couldn't be colder at all. Sweaty nites and especially in the morning..argh. There was a fireplace in the lobby and maybe you guys were cold but 31°C can definitely cook an egg on my room porch 🔥

the room was larger than average, lots of lighting options, decent chairs to sit and read books in, lots of natural light. the decor was bright and contemporary, the pillows were really fantastic and huge towels. I only used the reception to check in but it was very smart and modern with a good buzz.

The staff were “reading from a script” and didn’t seem genuinely interested in me. There were only 4 teabags & small mugs in the room which seemed a bit stingy for two people. I thought I had booked a Queen bed but was given a king size bed. I can’t see the point of a king size and would rather have had less bed and more room! The funky lights and cool wing chair were in fact plastic and a bit cheap looking.

Location was central to many attractions and restaurants. Room was comfortable. Breakfast dining was great food and reasonably priced.

Dining at dinnertime, the meals were delicious but definitely overpriced for the average traveller. Steaks were very expensive and needed to pay for add ons to make it a complete meal. Maybe suitable for Diplomats etc who were dining there but not a family or average couple.
