The location was excellent being able to walk into town. Even though the rooms were old they were clean and comfortable. Staff friendly and welcoming.

The kitchenette was poorly equipped. The cutlery was shabby and bits and pieces, so too the cups/mugs for coffee. An old assortment and some chipped. There is a lovely BBQ area to cook, but no trays to put food on or a salad bowl to be able to make a salad. Considering these types of items are so inexpensive to buy, the Kmart brand would do the job, there is loads of room for improvement.

The location was superb. Just across the road from a beautiful Botanic Garden. Jacqueline was very welcoming and not obtrusive, but was on hand if any issues arose. Lovely clean pool and covered bbq area. There was a nearby IGA, and Chemist within walking distance. My friend and I can totally recommend the Chinese Restaurant nearby for dine-in and take-away. Also we enjoyed a couple of meals at the Barooga Hotel. All in all, our week’s stay was wonderful. 10/10.

No breakfast supplied, but unnecessary. very close to golf course where I was playing, large main room and comfortable king size bed. For a motel, the microwave was very easy to use and made meal preparation very simple.

I found accessing FOXTEL stations difficult, but I am not very electronically astute, but I was still able to watch standard T.V. The dining room chairs became slightly uncomfortable for me, when sitting on them for extended times as happens during the long Autumn nights at the moment

Look this place is not new but is well maintained run by great people- large room very comfortable bed- clean -well equipped with small fridge microwave tv ceiling fan plus aircon plus heating great for all season great value- pub within walking distance parking at front door

This was the bonus gem we really weren't expecting. What a lovely town and the manager was so welcoming and absolutely lovely. Never been made feel so welcome! We will absolutely be coming back. The pub up the road and the cafe, recommended by the owner were also amazing

There's was nothing not to like.

Very clean, and spacious rooms. Great location near the centre of Barooga. Facilities are good for families, the room was even equipped with baby proofing on the plug sockets which was very helpful and took some of the usual stress of travelling with a crawling baby out of the stay. The apartment was very quiet and well insulated. The room was cool when we came home on hot days and didn’t get to cool at night. The room also had decent enough blackout curtains and the bright motel lights are turned off late at night, which is good to get a dark room for convincing babies they should still be sleeping. They also provided a very clean and well kept cot, complete with clean good quality linen. The good cot was a bonus for me and very appreciated.

Nothing major. Maybe some tongs or a fish slice in the otherwise well equipped kitchen would be good. Generally, I would recommend the property and will definitly do so to friends and family looking for somewhere in the area.

The rooms are big and the internet was good. The staff were great. The air conditioning is over the kitchen bench and keeps the room cool without giving you a chill over night very good in my book.

It is a little dated but I kind of like that.

Stayed here a few times as excellent value. Has a small kitchen, table and chairs, comfy couch, free wi fi and foxtel. Bathroom ok with good shower pressure. Host always very friendly and helpful, a real home away from home. Has everything you would need for a holiday in the cupboards including iron, plates etc etc. A hidden gem

Great location, excellent owners, top value for a country motel. Laundry, swimming pool, excellent bbq area and games facilities!! Will be back

Nothing, and being promoted to think of something is ridiculous.

Rooms were satisfactory. Nothing over the top a bit old but clean. Beds were comfortable and the aircon worked well and it was 43 degrees. Swimming pool was clean. Staff were friendly.
