Everything. This motel exceeded my expectations in every way. I travel for work on a weekly basis and stay in motels or hotels for 4 to 5 days. This is the first time I have rebooked the same accommodation for three weeks in a row while working in the region. The motel has been tastefully renovated. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with small kitchenette for essentials. A beautiful shared kitchen provides for everything else. There is a pool and nice garden and sitting areas. Great BBQ facilities. Decent parking. Comfortable beds and pillows. The towels are fluffy and the bathroom has thoughtful extras.

Great location close to the town, cafes, restaurants, pubs, the clubs and the lake. Coffee machine and microwave in the rooms was a great extra, also had crockery/cutlery/glassware/toaster. There was also a small table and 2 chairs in room. Beds were very comfortable, with electric blankets and extra pillows and bedding if required, room was very clean. Undercover BBQ was great, although we didn’t use it this visit. Large entertainment room was fabulous, had board games to keep kids occupied, fully stocked with cutlery, crockery, cooking utensils and an added extra was the fridge with lots of different condiments/sauces/spices which was for the use of everyone and loved the idea of the honesty fridge which had juice/soft drinks and cereals in it. Also had tables, chairs and TV, the room could be used in hot or cold weather. Great outdoor area with lots of tables and chairs with umbrellas (great shade in summer) and a larger gazebo to relax in. Heated pool wasn’t available at this time of year but was in nice surroundings. Tables and chairs outside each room and a thoughtful little extra was a tin of insect repellant spray on each table. Host (filling in as owners were away on holidays) very friendly , chatty and helpful. Would not hesitate to stay there again.

Maybe a lounge chair in room to relax in, instead of sitting/laying on the bed. Bathroom very small. Maybe some shelves in the wardrobe to put clothing on that couldn’t be put on hangers.

The location was excellent, short walk to all Clubs, and shopping centre, and a short stroll to waters edge, This Resort was very comfortable, with little nooks in garden to relax and read a book, On check in we were upgraded to a much larger room than we had originally booked which was a lovely surprise, check in was quick and easy with friendly staff / Manager. Would recommend this Motel / Resort to everyone, Rooms had surprising little extra quirky added details that were a delight and made the rooms individual, Kitchen even had a Coffee Pod machine, would definitely stay here again when in Mulwala / Yarrawonga.

This is a small property with very friendly and helpful staff. *cute nicely decorated rooms *very cosy and spotless clean *on a small size but big enough for a couple *very good heating *lots of hooks everywhere which we loved *small kitchenette *plenty of milk, coffee, tea, biscuits, complimentary water, coffee machine, microwave *lots of bathroom accessories, plenty of soap, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, even toothbrush which you won’t found in motels most of the time *even that the property is next to the main road the room was very quiet, couldn’t hear much of a traffic at all *serviced daily *Wifi a bit slow but not an issue

*no heating in the bathroom *queen mattress in our room was really hard and quite uncomfortable

Such a nice spot in Mulwala for a few days away. Our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids) stayed for 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The facilties are brillliant - nice pool, amazing new kitchen/dining area, and the new BBQ area looks great (we must try it out next time....). The rooms are fresh and new, and we had plenty of space to sleep all 4 of us between the 3 beds (one queen, two singles). There's also lots of seating areas around the property, places that a few people could sit and have a drink or some snacks. We met Laurie the owner several times around the property and he's a really friendly and chatty guy. Such a nice bloke! We walked into Yarranwonga a couple of times, its a very easy 10 min walk over the bridge. Oh its also pretty good value for money for accomodation these days!

The owners Laurie and Michelle made you feel welcome from the second you arrived till the time you leave. The rooms are very clean and the beds are very comfortable. The garden and pool area are fantastic. We cant forget the star of the resort Bucks he was awesome the friendliest dog ever. My wife and I highly recommend to stay here while visiting Mulwala / Yarrawonga. This was the 1st time we stayed here and it wont be the last time we will be definitely coming back.

There was nothing I didn't like..

So considerately thought out. Make up remover wipes ~ we always forget make up remover, very considerate. Little coffee machine and a few take-away cups ~ nice touch. Loved the automatic door light that turns on for when one is fumbling after dark to unlock the door. I liked the cute pergola type areas too. Lovely little place. Highly recommend it.

No Netflix thought they did have Foxtel (great if you’re a sport watcher).

Pool was great for the kids to enjoy, with toys and inflatables provided to keep them entertained. Lots of little thoughtful touches, plastic glasses to use around the pool, the bbq was well stocked with equipment and supplies that you may need, bags of ice to keep drinks and food cool in the hot weather! Laurie and Michelle were always available when help was needed. Plenty of lovely spots around the motel outdoor area to have a picnic or a drink outside your room allows you to make the most of the weather.

Mulwala Resort is a little hidden gem. The owners and operators, Laurie and Michelle were at call when needed. They provided very comfortable accommodation with luxury extras - coffee machine with pods (can purchase extras), shampoo, conditioner, body gel and lotion. Can also purchase, coke, water and extra milk. The tropical garden and Pool area is beautifully cared for with lots of outdoor seating, gazebo huts scattered to enhance the experience. A bonus that the property backs on to an easement, then the Yarrawonga golf course making it a quiet area.

The kitchenette needs updating but is currently very functional

The pool area is great and the decor was funky!

The parking was tricky...I couldn't get into my car park at first as another car had parked in the way. Could be better managed with line markings and signage so people don't park in places that make it difficult to get in and out of a space. Also other guests were quite loud and noisy outside at 2am. Not well sound proofed.
