Highly recommended, room was very clean, comfortable and modern, manager and staff were exceptional with their hospitality - Im so fortunate to get the last minute booking. I was provided with everything I needed for a few nights stay. Location is quiet, walkable to town but closer to Pro-Hart gallery. On-site restaurant Betina- I had my best steak with salad and green ever, perfectly seasoned and cooked to my liking 😋. Thank you so much Andrea and all for a wonderful stay. Went for Barramundi tonight - another well balanced dish and very enjoyable. Thank you Chef! Very clean palette. This restaurant should be on the map of Broken Hill great dining must try.

I’ve stayed there many times before. Recent renovations have kept the property up to the mark

On arrival reception wasn’t open. The sign on the door stated back at 3pm. I arrived at 4pm and still unattended. Things happen? I rang the number provided and assured staff not far away. Cook opened up and gave me a room key. On attending that room it was already occupied. On returning to reception a different member of staff gave me my correct room key. Not the most serious mistakes that could be made but certainly not what is usual for that motel and definitely not what you need in 40 degree heat after a long days travel.

The staff were amazing, the room clean and tidy, bed was very comfortable. Restaurant food was beyond what I had expected, every dish was first class. They were very accommodating to my need to keep extending my stay due to caring for a loved one in hospital and not knowing the length of time I would be there. Highly recommend this place. Bonus was that is is within walking distance to the Hospital. Great team they have working here.

That I didn't get a chance to see Broken Hill other than a hospital :-(

Bed and pillows were comfortable, the linen was fresh and the heating worked well. It was quiet and you felt safe. Rooms are fresh. The meals I had from the restaurant were excellent and the staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Could use a few bowls and plates, knives, forks and spoons (not just teaspoons) in the room. Toilet seat is not a good fit.

We stayed in a recently refurbished queen room. The room was spotlessly clean and bed was very comfortable. A microwave and toaster were provided. We used the laundry for our washing at a cost of $5 for a wash and $5 for drying. We expected to do it ourselves but the staff said they were very busy with motel washing that they would put it through for us. Not only did they put it through but they folded it all and returned to our room. This was well above what we expected and the staff went above and beyond. Well done and keep up the good work.

I have stayed 3 times at the Hill Top and it is my "go to" motel in fab Broken Hill. This time we got a newly renovated room which was very kind of the friendly owners Andrea and her husband. We enjoyed the interesting chats with them, too. Overall Broken Hill is amazing, especially the Desert Park for sunset and near-by Silverton. The Silly Goat Cafe in the main street of BH gets my vote for good coffee and ambience, and for dinner we enjoyed a great plate at the Democratic Club. All in all a memorable stay!

The single bed was not necessary. Some form of seating / table and chairs would have been good.Basic crockery and cutlery could have been included. Some basic cleaning materials such as easing liquid and soap pads for washing up cups and glasses.

This is a real gem. It doesn't look much on the outside, but don't be deceived, it's a great place to stay! This motel has undergone recent renovations and we were impressed. The rooms were modern, stylish, our was on the small side, but hey we were only sleeping there. The bed was super comfortable. We ate in the restaurant, we were too tired to go looking for anywhere else and were really surprised. Food and atmosphere was really good. Sop glad we didn't go out looking elsewhere, I doubt we could have gotten better. Will definitely stay here again. We were really impressed.

Location suited our needs travelling through. On site restaurant was magnificent, delivered our meals to the room! Bathroom configuration was a little odd with a small toilet & shower room, however it functioned really well, would be better with a shower screen somehow rather than curtain. Looks like reno's happening on rooms, so expect more quality rooms to come

Sliding door was very heavy & hard to open, but other than that it was a lovely room & very clean

Location was good. Near centre of town, and a view. Freshly renovated with new tiling, bathroom, sink, kitchen etc.

I wasn't notified of the new paint smll prior to arrival lucky we weren't averse to the smell. Also towels were not changed when room made up. Which I only said to do 1 of the 3 days there.
