Booked 2 nights acc for a deluxe studio with 2 single beds at a costing of $176/night. The motel is located on the eastern end of town, with easy walking distance to cafes & the art gallery. A wonderful friendly professional welcome. We were allocated room 21. Car parking spaces are numbered with parking right near the door. This is a really comfortable motel. The layout of the rooms is excellent. A living /dining area with kitchenette comprising Induction stove stop, microwave & full fridge. Cutlery crockery too. The beds are really comfortable. The ensuite is roomy with a walk in shower with great hot water. An openable window. Nice quality toilettries in pump action bottles. The air con works really well & is whisper quiet. The fridge is too. There is no noise from the road traffic & we slept well. We had trouble connecting with the hotel's internet & both members of staff tried so hard to fix the problem. They ultimately did & we greatly appreciate their persistence. The rooms are serviced daily, which we appreciated. There is a guest laundry available for $6/load, with laundry detergent provided. They also provide air racks if you prefer, instead of using the dryer. The equipment was very clean. We had a wonderful stay here, as we did last time, & fully recommend Red Earth

The motel is conveniently located in the centre of town, in walking distance to several great places for a meal. The room was well appointed, modern and clean. The motel staff were friendly and helpful, suggesting places for dinner and even providing a torch when the entire town lost all power due to a storm and a failed town back up generator. None of this was the fault of the motel staff and they addressed the issue as best they could to make us comfortable. Highly recommended for a stay in Broken Hill.

The accommodation was exceptional and well located. So easy to book and check in. Really appreciated the high level of detail, inclusion and cleanliness in our self-contained unit. The motel itself is so well configured in a U-shape with IN/OUT access either side of the central pool inclosure. Michelle was a delight and thoroughly welcoming.

Not a dislike as such, but more an observation...After returning from buying some dinner on the evening we stayed, a couple of other blokes were sitting outside their room in their hi-vis doing a post-work debrief while casually smoking and drinking. We weren't fussed about it. They gave us a cheery hello and we thought they added a bit of mining town authenticity.

Everything. It was one of the best Motels we have stayed in for a long time.Booking and checking in was easy. Room was as shown. Very spacious and clean No bleach odour like some. Bed was really comfortable and shower was excellent.Friendly staff and ideal location .Walking distance to main street.Happy to return and highly recommend other.Being booked out most nights proves how popular and great this motels is

We planned to stay in Broken Hill for 5 nights. The Red Earth Motel was perfect! It provided us with a beautifully clean and comfortable home away from home. The staff were wonderful. Our room lacked for nothing. Our every need was catered for. We stayed here 5 years ago and it was equally as good. It is very central to everything ad catered to your every need. The bed was extremely comfortable. This is a 5 star property! We will definitely be back!

Red Earth is a short walking distance from the town centre on the main road of Broken Hill. Our room was equipped with kettle and toaster and fridge. There was a swimming pool but we didn't use it. The room had everything we needed for a 2 night stay. WIFI and parking are free. We ate outside at the Astra Hotel (restaurant) one night and there were several other eating places available. We visited the Mining Museum and saw the Silver Tree, the Pro Hart gallery (very good) and went to the top of the Lode (mining is still in operation). The mine overlooks and is close to the town. We also drove just outside town to view the Living Desert Sculpture area which requires a walk and an entry payment (only by credit card). We also went on an astronomy tour just outside town - luckily it wasn't a cloudy night , they had some powerful telescopes and it was Cold (we were advised to wear 6 layers).

The car parking for our unit was not immediately in front of our unit.

I liked the layout of the room. There was a separate lounge/kitchenette to the bedroom. There were plenty of facilities and you could even cook on the BBQ and they supplied the cooking equipment. There was a microwave to heat up meals and you could wash and dry your clothes, they even gave you clothes airers to use. The staff were very friendly and they had dollar coins for the washing and drying machines. They handed out what to do booklets as well as their recommendations on what to do in Broken Hill. Would definitely stay there again.

There was only 1 washing machine and 1 dryer so if there was a queue you had to wait. Also they locked the door quite early so you need to make sure you wash your clothes before sunset. There was nothing else to fault.

Location was great, staff were friendly, we had an easy check-in and check-out. Room was modern and clean, Bathroom was updated and had a good shower. Rooms were spacious. room had 2 tv's which was handy for us as we had our son with us. Kitchen area had a clean fridge & microwave Aswell as coffee making facilities. we didn't use the Pool and BBQ area, but they were clean and nice. Also had good parking.

The only thing we didn't like is the beds. For us little they were a little hard, but we are used to a plush mattress, so this is more of a personal preference and not a negative comment. Beds and linen were clean and in good condition. Pillows were soft but a little flat for us but again that's a personal preference.

The room was an Oasis after a long drive to get there. Loved apartment size ((would not have known it was so big looking at it from the front)) Loved the comfort of the bed Loved the Foxtel That they came and cleaned the room The location to everything

There was nothing I didn't like, except may be that we could not park directly in front of our room door.

Loved the room, so spacious and new. Very clean and tidy. Great having the stovetop and all we needed to cook breakfast. Would loved to have stayed longer!

The bed was really uncomfortable. It was two beds out together and whatever was laying on top created a hump in the middle, making a roll to the sides of the bed. Didn't sleep well. Everything else was awesome!!
