it’s a very clean and tidy property with modern layout and facilities. Bed is very comfortable

Dogs in surrounding neighbour yards barking relentlessly for hours on end and very loud. We were on the upper level and the dogs were so loud we couldn’t sleep. I can’t imagine how difficult this would have been for those on the lower level and the dog right near them.

Near new, modern, well-appointed room. Very spacious (I was in the "Accessible" room with large bathroom). Exceptionally clean. Comfy bed with a couple of pillow options. Close to town centre with easy 5-10 minute walk to club, pubs, eateries and shops.

Right beside town centre bypass for heavy vehicles (and other through traffic) so a little bit noisy. My room was right at the front, so it may be quieter further back.

i loved the disability accessible bathroom .. the tall toilet .. the shower room seat .. the non-slip shower mat .. as a person with limited mobility i felt as safe and secure as i do in my own bathroom at home

there was nothing to not like ..

Almost everything. Near new motel with very generous rooms, modern and spacious. Queen bed, comfortable. Good sized TV (could be one size bigger) otherwise great selection of channels. Spacious room with lounge and dining areas. Huge bathroom, walk in shower with great water pressure. New basins, fittings and everything you'd need in a modern bathroom. Free parking right out front. Iron, bar fridge and the standard tea/coffee included. Excellent customer service from the owner Garry, he clearly loves what he does and it shows. Highly recommend Gunnedah Lodge Motel. Our first time and will be back next time we are in town. Impeccable quality room and accommodation in general.

Some minor road noise from trucks using thr Gunnedah bypass. Otherwise nothing at all.

Clean, large room, comfortable bed

Aircon in my room was noisy and I was in a room between 2 families who knew each other and they sat outside and talked while one left their very large 4wd drive running for an hour, not hotels fault but very annoying and inconsiderate.

The host, Gary, was great. Anything I needed was accommodated. The hotel was nice and clean, big room, lots of tea and coffee after a hard day of riding. Great country breakfast.

There's nothing I didn't like about the Lodge.

It was just great service and a clean and easy enough room to get around, nothing complicated. Super simple for a lone traveller who needed a place to camp for one night during a road trip. Could easily stay there again.

Our room was immaculate, comfortable and tastefully decorated.The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and immaculate. Gary and Ann are the perfect hosts. Extremely friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back.

Check in was smooth, the room was a good size, and almost all was very clean. VERY comfy bed! Quiet location and everything was as advertised. The only negatives were that the cleaning of the bathroom was a little lax.

There was a black mark (maybe oil stain) on the bed-spread, but the rest of the bedding was very clean. There were toothpaste splash stains on the mirror in the bathroom. The soap dish in the shower had soap residue in it. Generally it was great, but bathroom cleaning was a bit below par.
