great location close to everything reception staff lovely gentleman very friendly and welcoming.

the only issue was the bed and pillows honestly the bed was very hard and the pillows flat and uncomfortable to sleep on got a sore neck I’ll just remember to take my own pillows next time 😂 because other than that was a nice room clean and tidy on arrival.

Ray was great, I noticed someone parked directly in front of my room and he recognised the vehicle and rang the owner who moved it straight away. If I’d parked next door it would have had a flow on effect. Great location, close walking distance to meals and shops etc.

I didn’t know how to adjust the RC aircon so my room was a bit stuffy, too late at night to request new batteries for the remote. I couldn’t find anything red about the chief - I meant to ask Ray about the name 😁

Great stopover if you need a hot shower and a comfortable bed. Nothing flashy and a bit outdated, but that is well reflected in the price. Room was very clean. Service was friendly and welcoming. Easy parking and the location is great - off the main road but easy walking distance to restaurants.

Room needed inspection and repairs. When we stayed the bathroom sink was leaking and the room was starting to get run down. Since contacting the owner he explained that he was relatively new to the ownership, the bathroom sink no longer leaks and he is in the process of upgrading the property room by room.

A Very peaceful & relaxing family type place to stay just passing through...close to shops....so will definately be coming back if travelling through again.

We were upgraded to a larger room on Check in which was a lovely gesture. Our room was serviced and restocked each day which on recent stays at other motels hasn’t been done so 10/10 for that

It was value for money and quiet so we were happy with everything

Great location close to the town centre. Off the main road so no problems with traffic noise. Older unit in pretty decent condition. No worries for an overnight stay. Would stay again.

Could do with a bit of a touch up but we still loved the original character.

Pool could have been cleaner but the water was clean and prefect for a hot day which comes in handy in Gunnedah

The staff were amazing, we arrived late and were leaving early, and the staff member delivered to our room a great easy breakfast for us, at short notice. We were very happy..

Firstly, massive thank you to Ray. He is a legend. He was friendly and happy to meet all of our requests immediately and even gave us a lift to the train station on our last day.

There were a lot of insects at night time because the rooms were not fully sealed.
