Mollymook Motel

Receptionist Vikki was wonderful, surprisingly we grew up in the same Victorian town. The scrupulously clean room's windows revealed a 180 degree panoramic view of the magnificent Pacific. Indeed, I rose early to catch the sun rising above a distant horizon. Dining facilities in the room, and on the easterly viewing deck, were excellent. There were three comfortable beds, one king and two singles, a wall TV was strategically placed in front of a comfortable sofa, and the two single beds. The king sized bed faces the ocean, there are blinds to cater for late sleepers. Vikki directed me to one of the best fish 'n chip shops on the coast, well priced and delicious. Fully resourced eating facilities were perfect, as was the excellent shining-clean bathroom. Highly recommended!

It is a motel on a highway, so there is some traffic noise, that quietened down around 10PM. I'm a farm dweller, so to me night time noise is unusual, here it wasn't alarming, so getting back to sleep was instantaneous.

The decor was new and fresh, welcoming and most appropriate for a beachside apartment. Remove the frequency of the traffic, one could sit and relax on the balcony for hours.

The motel is situated on the corner of the highway. It may not suit all if one expects quiet. The traffic lessened at night so it didn't interrupt our sleep, the glass was double glazed. I would have preferred to have an ironing board and iron in the room or at least be aware of its absence incase needed when the office is unattended. An inside doormat is needed. The off white floorboards add to the fresh look except when it is raining and you decorate the floor with muddy foot prints!

We were upgraded to a spacious one bedroom apartment with a spa bath. It had beautiful decor & was very well equipped. The good sized balcony had lovely views to the golf course & ocean. It was extremely comfortable. Outside was a pleasant barbecue area if you were intending to cook one evening. It was a pleasant stroll to the beach, golf club & golf course.

Probably the stairs although they weren't a bother to us.

Wonderful little motel. Recently renovated with a great kitchen and bathroom. Everything was smart and fresh. We loved it and would happily stay again. The owner / receptionist was extremely welcoming and helpful and gave us some really helpful advice re places to go for dinner. The location was very convenient and easy to find. That did mean that there was a little traffic noise but honestly it didn't bother us and we slept well. The following nights we stayed at other motels on our driving holiday but we felt that this one was the best despite not being the most expensive we stayed at

The outer and inner of the motel was color coordinated and really cute, clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The view from our room was great! Parking in front of our room was convenient with luggage movement. And we must not forget Vikki at the office, so friendly, efficient and welcoming. Thank you for making our stay at Mollymook memorable! Would certainly stay here again if we visit Mollymook again :)

We really couldn't give fault to anything.

The room was terrific. It was lovely, fresh and clean. There was a view to the ocean which is always nice. We would definitely recommend.

The WiFi was weak & intermittent. We wondered if this was because we were in the furthest room (12) from the reception. Whilst the bathroom was lovely & clean & fresh the shower had no door & subsequently there was a tendency for spray to fall to the floor.

Great little renovated Motel. Super comfy bed!!! Convenient spot.

The road is quite noisy, need to supply some nice tea, good English breakfast tea rather than yellow label bags. The open shower isn't great as the floor gets soaking wet and slippery, need to provide a squeegy in there. Generally nice though.

The newly renovated rooms were amazing the decor and details were spot on. Comfortable bedding, robes & loved the spa. Vikki the manager was exceptional and very accommodating as we had our baby with us which she offered an upgrade. Can’t thank her enough for making our stay perfect. We will be back and highly recommend

The rooms are newly refurbished, very comfortable and self contained with great views out over Mollymook Golf course and the ocean. We stayed for 3 nights and felt like we had a little home away from home! The BBQ facilities were ideal and we enjoyed the option of being able to make our own breakfasts and lunches whilst still enjoying some great local restaurants. It is an easy 10-15 minute walk to Mollymook beach. Vicki, the Manager, made us feel so welcome and ensured we had a fantastic stay!

The room has been recently beautifully refurbished. It is roomy with a big kitchenette. The bathroom is great with a good shower with lovely thick towels. It is a room that encourages you to stay in and relax. We used the BBQ area which had everything you need.

The location is on a main road but only noisy for a short time. It didn’t worry us during our stay.
