Bannisters Pavilion Mollymook

I could barely fault it. It is an absolutely stunning property, the ambience was relaxing and staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. We loved our evening drinks on the rooftop, and how close it was to the local shops and beach. Daily breakfast was delicious. Staying mid week in winter meant the cost wasn’t as high, and the hotel was much quieter which we enjoyed.

If I had to be picky- I found the bed to be a little uncomfortable, and the sheets were bit course- for a premium hotel you would want these to be top notch. It would have also been great if the pools were heated a bit warmer in winter, or there was a hot tub. Other than that the place was delightful.

It just made us want to relax. We had good weather so spent a lot of time at the pool. Great that we could enjoy cocktails & snacks around the pool. Breakfast was great and room was excellent. We liked having the 2 armchairs to sit on rather than the end of the bed. Minor hiccup with our final bill which was easily sorted out without question. Two nights was not enough. The staff were excellent and very friendly which contributed to our enjoyment.

Nothing to dislike.

The complex is beautifully designed well maintained and sits discreetly inside the village. The rooms are large comfortable with huge functional bathrooms. The ambience in the dining area is very special. The coffee van is a gem Top sunroof is a bonus. Also close to ocean and other facilities make it almost like a little secret place...

This is my 4th visit to your fantastic hotel, however I would like to see a menu change or at least of wider choice. The food is excellent by the way.

Staff were very friendly especially the Rooftop crew, the checkin staff explained very comprehensively the relevant information. Tuesday's GM complimentary drinks at 4pm were a nice touch. Rooftop dinner & Breakfast were both enjoyable. As a car lover, I particularly appreciated the undercover parking.

I couldn't really fault any aspect of the property. Just keep doing what you are doing.

Beautiful decor, really comfy bed, rooftop pool was great and seating areas on rooftop too, clean, lots of greenery, tv in room has Netflix, tv swivels and moves if needed.

Balcony off room was tiny and chairs on it were uncomfortable - we only noticed this because we had a little bub to put to sleep every night meaning we were bound to our room more than usual - with it being one big room we had to resort to balcony to chat and watch tv!

We were supposed to stay at the Pavilion but we’re upgraded to By the Sea. Overall we were extremely happy with our stay. The room was very spacious with a fantastic view out over the pool area and out to sea. The service by the staff at all of the bars and eateries was first class. The food at the Pool Bar & Grill and especially Rick Steins Restaurant was totally what you would expect 5 stars. We rate our 3 night stay as near to perfect & would definitely return perhaps in summer to enjoy the beautiful infinity pool

We decided to treat ourselves to breakfast on the Sunday morning. The sit down menu had a great selection. After having coffee & juice we waited a while for our order to arrive, unfortunately when it did everything on the plate was cold on both our meals. We mentioned this to the waitress who offered to reheat both meals, which we declined as we were really put off that it should never have been served in that manner. There was no offer of a refund until I went to reception to voice my disappointment, they immediately offered a refund from our account, which was pleasing

We arrived early and were offered a glass of sparkling wine and use of the facilities whilst we waited for our room. Room was comfortable and spacious. I had booked dinner for a group and needed to downsize. Staff were helpful and accommodating.

The hotel, whilst lovely, is in need of some renovation/ TLC. The tiles at the base of our shower (Room 112) were cracked. The circular mirror in the room starting to "desilver". Rust starting to appear on fittings etc.

We had a large king size bedroom facing the trees at the rear of the hotel which was fantastic. Nice outlook without seeing any neighboring buildings. Dinner was great at the rooftop bar and grill. The included breakfast was also up on the rooftop which was a good way to start the day. Great coffee and selection of breakfast options. Will be more than happy to stay there again when in Mollymook.

Great vibe. Staff all excellent. Food very good. Very design led without compromise on comfort. Location just a 5 or 6 min walk to the most beautiful beach. Hotel has a treetop feeling with foliage everywhere you feel like you’re in the trees not near a road - very well done

All staff very friendly except for the front desk receptionist on 8 June at 8 am who was a tad strict in her demeanour when we asked for just half an hour late check out. She seemed unwilling and said ok but will revert if there is a problem. It is obviously not a problem as we can see that most of the rooms are being cleaned and they won’t need room 115 at 10.30 on the dot to clean . Also no laundry bag she said we used to have some but not now. And did not offer to say when inform housekeeping to resupply . Just a no and too bad body language. So receptionist needs further training. However when we checked in on 7 June at about 4 pm the front desk receptionist was exceptional: friendly courteous warm and welcoming top class! Also the staff at the grill bar were excellent!

Pillows really too hard like nuggets. Ask room manager to sleep on the pillows. Preferred a softer pillow
