Winchester Motel

The room was clean and had everything I needed for my 5 night stay (microwave, plates. ,bowls, cutlery, quiet bar fridge, smart tv). The couple managing the Whinchester were very friendly and helpful. The WiFi was surprisingly good - enough to make video calls and work remotely.

The area for smokers needs to be moved away from the rooms as the smoke enters through the gap under door. Perhaps the area where the pool used to be should become the area for smokers

First impressions when we walked in the room was how clean & maintained it was. Very close to places walking distance to local pool, two restaurants Thai and Chinese. Thai is the closest Just down the street is Maccas. And if you want a cold beer across from the pool is a local pub and drive through. Staff were great. I called early in the afternoon just to notify we would be late which was no problem to the on-site manager. I will have no issues booking the Winchester again 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

Because it was a short stay everything was great.

I liked everything about this place..had everything you needed..Also the guy at reception was a wonderful person ..very kind and funny..My car broke down at reception and he wasn’t phased at all..which made me feel much better after the worst day of my life I’m sure..But we had some laughs and I would like to thank him for that from the bottom of my heart..Great Guy..thank you again🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂

Spacious room, very clean. The new managers (They started 2 days before my stay) are really friendly. The TV was large. I will definitely stay here again. There was an outdoor table and chairs near my room. Shower was great, and I had secure parking. It was easy to come and go from the property after hours.

The layout of the room was practical and enjoyable.

The non enforcement of allocated parking meant that it was chaotic and unpredictable. Also, there should be the provision of an ice tray in the freezer!

Great rooms

Someone was smoking outside. The smell woke me up. It's a hard thing to manage as the room was non-smoking. But the smell was thick in the air. I travel a lot, so I'm not sure if it is the prevailing wind into the forecourt, but it woke me early.

The staff were welcoming! Real live staff!None of this contactless check in that is becoming more common post pandemic. Couldn't fault the experience. Oh! Just remember to take your key if you go out at night. I left mine in my car at the motel. The gates are locked at night for security.

Nothing not to like.

Winchester Motel is in a great location when travelling through Moree. The room was very comfortable at a fantastic price. The manager was very nice and went out of her way to ensure a comfortable stay. I highly recommend this motel.

Location is great. Close to the Aquatic Centre and hot artesian pool and a nice easy walk to main business area. A couple of great restaurants just across the road made it ideal.

Great value for money, comfy bed and good shower. Facilities were a little dated but no problem for me, nice to have kitchenette available. Good location, easy to walk around.

There wasn’t much soundproofing between rooms and I happened to share a door with a family where the kids wake up at 5am
