We wanted somewhere to save costs, compared to getting two single rooms, and this place was almost perfect. Quiet on the nights we were there, a reasonable pub dining experience downstairs that served meals to about 9pm (very welcome) and well located. And it was away away from the highway! Staff were very cheerful and friendly.

Overall, this place is really good value. If I had to be picky, I'd say the design of the apartment was a little odd. The rooms were a bit on the small side and the wardrobe was very small. This was fine for me, but could be frustrating for anyone staying any length of time. And given this is an apartment and ideal for friends sharing (which is what we did) the bathroom, while clean and functional, would be hard to share because the vanity was so small and there was literally no bench space!

great location friendly staff lots of space and some cool extras like pool table reasonably priced and easy to get coins at the bar, fire pit in courtyard bowling etc. it was central but not noisy

only one pillow on the bed per person and it was a bit flat; towels small thin and a bit scratchy but clean the bed wasn’t the most comfortable but it was ok. the couch was pretty lumpy but for a short stay it was comfortable enough and a bit more expensive than other places in Narrabri definitely more spacious and well located

The staff member checking us in allocated the rooms incorrectly giving me a bigger better room than I booked. Unfortunately my friend had a smaller less equipped room than she booked. It was not till next day that we worked this out. So I was a winner. She was a loser

The thing to open and close the venetian blind was up so high I had to climb up on the lounge and stretch precariously whilst clinging on to the back of the lounge to reach it. And I am not a short person.

The accessibility from the carpark was good as I had equipment I needed to place in room. The Hotel is in a good central location in Narrabri.

The carpark has a security fence, but the gate isn't locked during the night. If this gate could be automated so it can be locked the accommodation offering would be more desirable for those business's and other travelers wanting that extra security at the night with their vehicles.

The room (executive one-bedroom apartment) was tastefully furnished, clean, comfortable and spacious. The wifi worked well (not super fast, but it was free and very convenient). The bed was firm but comfortable, with one soft and one firm pillow. White linen and towels. The aircon was very good in the Narrabri heat. Kettle, toaster, microwave, bar fridge, hair dryer, dish soap and cloth and all the usual amenities. The "balcony" was more like a shared patio (shared by people that live on the second floor), with tables and chairs to lounge on while watching the sun set. The restaurant and bar is open, and I believe the bowling alley as well (I did not make use of that). The owner/manager was friendly and accommodating. The hotel is very conveniently situated across from Woolworth, as well as in the same block as Coles, and one block away from McDonalds. There is also another coffee shop that opens up before 6am just a short walk away. The theatre, sports grounds, river and town grandfather clock is one block away.

It was really hot during my stay and I had to pass the bins on my way up the stairs to my room. They were quite smelly. I did not smell it in my room, just on the way up the stairs, which is not a very welcoming smell when you arrive back to your hotel. Toiletries were very small samples of shampoo and conditioner. No soap.

The bed was very comfy & room size was adequate. Great value for money.

The bathroom had some issues - the shower leaked onto the floor outside & the cabinet containing the basin was damaged - pineboard flaking off & swelling from being wet in places. Not much hot water, no washer. There was no rack to put a case/bag on & to hang anything in the wardrobe, it was necessary to take the ironing board out! Checking in was tricky as the hotel only opened from 5pm. The mobile number given on the booking.com paperwork was not the number the hotel staff wanted guests to call - that number was only listed on the hotel's website.

Great size, very comfortable (firm) bed. Very quiet after 1030/11pm. Place to eat. Comfortable single chair in lounge and bedroom. Easy checkout.

Noisy before 1030 with compressors and pub noises, but not unbearable. Bathroom very small and shower leaked water on floor. Lounge uncomfortable, very low.

I was surprised how comfortable the room was, considering this establishment is a Hotel. The bed was fine. A small kitchenette with a basin, toaster, microwave and kettle. If anything the walls were a bit thin. I could hear the TV and talking in the adjacent room. A short walk down the stairs to the Bar and the Restaurant. Off road parking behind the Hotel as well. Quite comfortable.

Had no reception the whole time inside the apartment & wifi never worked at all so exspect to be off the grid if you stay here

Great price. Location was good. Pub food was delicious. Staff were super friendly. Room was comfortable and big enough.

Room wasn't super clean, there were huge spider webs here and there. A big hole in the wall which I guess could have been patched up with at least some sticky tape to make it look OK. :) But those are quite minor things and, apart from that, a great room.
