Turning an 80s motel into a reverberated, pleasant accommodation

Need to replace/repair taps.

Room has been renovated and is very comfortable and very clean. Lovely spot close to everything including shops. The man at the desk who seemed to be running the entire place was friendly and efficient. The complimentary buffet continental breakfast was a surprise and exceeded expectations, even having gluten free and dairy free options to choose from. Excellent value for money. Heaps of parking and easy wide carpark. Great sized room for a short stay

Only two very small reservations about the accommodation - the main bed is extremely soft, to the point I had to sleep on the single bed as husband and I were sinking in the big one like it was a hammock and squashing each other (we are both on the lower end of standard size for our height and are not tall) - when the aircon is running it creates a vibration all along the wall behind the bed that is crazy loud so we had to turn the aircon off to sleep

Although an older property, the room was neat and clean. The queen bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good and when the restaurant wasn't opening on the Sunday for breakfast, the manager gave us a breakfast pack instead. The property was located on the main road into Tamworth however we were not disturbed by road noise, nor could we hear the people in the rooms either side of us. Excellent value for money.

The air conditioning overflow dripped outside our door which meant dodging puddles of water entering or leaving the room. We were expecting to have breakfast before we left on our last day and waited for the restaurant to open only to be told it wouldn't be. We would have left earlier had we known. Perhaps management could put a sign out or email / SMS guests in future.

I really enjoyed my two night stay here. Darren, Kerrie and Nikki went over and beyond to look after their guests. I was able to chat with them, discuss ideas and they were so receptive and friendly. Check in was easy as I was a late arrival. The rooms are very well maintained with good bed, bathroom, basic kitchen appliances, smart TV, workspace, lounge and air com. The area has a free to use laundry and massive swimming pool. The continental breakfast buffet is just superb with so many different choices for cereals including gluten free, toasts, yoghurts, juices and teas to choose from plus pancakes, fruit cups, hot chocolate and coffee. There’s also a restaurant and bar for dinner. It’s just off both the New England and Oxley Highways. Easy drive access to town, Scully Park and the main highways. I recommend this place and whenever passing through Tamworth will stay here again. Check my google review for photos and video.

Location is great & beds are super comfy. Relaxing pool too.

Free breakfast, but not open till 8am, which meant we had to forfeit that as we were not offered the early rise travel breaky packs this trip (we were offered these previously due to early checkout) & when you leave at 8am, breaky onsitr at the restaurant is not possible. Cleaning staff need to be more vigilant in checking tea/coffee supplies are actually restocked, working of fridges & that bathroom supplies are actually refilled.

The shower pressure was outta this world ! After a big day at the motorsport park the shower was to die for in room 48 ! Certianly not some little misty water like most motels the staff was awesome with our late checking in place was quite as for that good night's sleep rooms where tidy an very clean and they didn't stink either . The family room is very roomy with plenty room to host kids . Definitely booking back in next year there when our car events are on ! 5 stars from our family

Or air con leaked water all over the floor when we turned it on but that wasn't the motels fault they may not have been aware n was not a big issue for us at all

The staff of the motel who were very friendly and helpful. The room 14 of my stay and other room are great as every one is with an outdoor space for a nice cup of tea or beer in the evenings or any time during the day. All rooms in quiet place and comfortable views. The location is good if you have a car. 3 minutes by car to the CBD of Tamworth. 2 minutes to coles supermarket.

I will be greatly happy to stay there again and again if the price can be similar or lower to others.

Staff were friendly. Breakfast was great for continental, even had gluten free options, which partner was happy with. Bed was comfortable and clean. Shower & bathroom facilities was great

That the bed side table top needed cleaning, as there was residue from previous guests coffee mug or similar, left on it. That the underside of the doors didn"t have a seal that went all the way down to the floor so as to stop insects coming into the room.

We stayed 3 nights in a family suite. It was our first time there. The rooms were a good size, larger than normal. Great Wi Fi, even with a family of 5 and various devices. Plenty of power points. Excellent showers, hot with good water pressure. Comfortable beds,nice and quiet day and night. Appreciated the small verandah attached to the unit. We cooked on a portable stove out there. No problems. Kids enjoyed the bbq balcony with views of the mountains,just gave us a little bit more breathing room. The pool was a great addition. Rooms were well serviced,staff friendly and polite. We will definitely return and would encourage others to go there.

Pool needed a vacuum.

We stayed for PBR 2022, to get accommodation was our first blessing. Our room was clean and fresh, the staff were amazing, we took advantage of a free late check-out. Continental breakfast was offered but I slept through it. Location was great. Staff were very knowledgeable regarding the area and transportation available. They made our transportation to and from the main event very smooth and easy for us which was a bonus after being in the car all day... Then to get back and lay in probably the comfiest bed I've ever slept on, felt like I was sleeping on clouds. I would definitely stay here again. Thankyou for an awesome introduction to what was my first trip to Tamworth 🙂
