Abraham Lincoln Motel

Beautiful place to stay. I couldn’t have asked for anything better, spacious room, clean & tidy, Tv, aircon, electric blanket for the cold winter nights all worked as they should. Nice decor, lounge, table chairs, & cushions, Lovely little kitchenette for those who like to prepare their own meals. Clean crisp linen, bathroom was spacious & equipped. Room service Lovely owner/managers very friendly, accommodating, Couldn’t have wished for anything better. 😊 Easy access, close to shops/restaurants.

Remarkably well furnished motel! Walking distance to Tamworth CBD accessible location on major road. It was really convenient with a bar fridge freezer combo that fit my food for the week with mini bar, microwave, toaster, kettle, hot drink sachets/biscuits. Iron and ironing board. Large comfortable lounge chair, very good full length sized wardrobe with hangers, great desk space, drawers, large mirrors, bedside tables, power points next to bed and above desk. Dining table and two chairs. Pleasant decor. Love the Hollywood style row of lights above bathroom mirror! I felt really comfortable with a good reverse cycle air conditioner in warm days and colder nights and a good ceiling fan. Free toiletries in large built in containers in bathroom including shampoo/conditioner, shower gel, hand soap, tissues. Quick drive to train and hospital. Totally stay here again.

One or two minor stains

The unit is was in was set back from the road so it was quiet and peaceful. The room had a microwave, toaster and kettle and associated plates, cups, glasses, and cutlery. This made it easy to for breakfasts and dinners in my room when i wanted (and the dirty items were replaced with clean items daily).

There appeared to be a little bit of mould in the bathroom.

not far from the start of the peel river walking track and within walking distance to the gallery. Loved the large spacious room, a very comfy bed, hot shower, and kitchen facilities provided were good too. Although this place is on the main highway it was actually very quiet for good sleeping. I definitely would stay here again.

Room was clean and cozy, management very friendly and accommodating, and location very convenient. Great value for the price, simple easy, no fuss but has all needed for a comfortable stay. I will come back here when in Tamworth next time.

The room was really spacious, bigger than I thought it would be. I also liked the shampoo, shower gel, an hand wash gel installed free for us to use. Apart from that, the tv which was really convenient that we can connect Netflix to it. Thank you and well done!

I wish the bathroom door can be opened easier. I had a weak hands and grips so it’s hard for me to open it. Also, I wish we can adjust the tv so we can see better even if we lay in the bed watching it.

The room was clean. There was a separate room for the kids so they could got to bed and the adults could stay up later. I love the fact that they didn't have white towels. White towels and kids don't mix.

To get in there you have to do a u-turn at the next street but not a big deal.

The location is fantastic for tourism and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was very spacious and had lots of extra utensils for use! The room had good free TV programs, such as Netflix and live TV. overall the property was very comfortable and accommodating!

The property was fantastic, it was great service and we would definetly come back again!!

We have stayed at this motel on a previous occasion. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Even though this motel is on a main road, it is very quiet. It is within walking distance from the centre of town. The manager was friendly and cheerful.

We had a great stay, Owner is a legend. So friendly and helps you out with anything you need. Really clean spacious rooms and the aircon is awesome. We had a BBQ lunch by the pool, all the bbq tools were provided so it was easy as and the kids had a blast. We will be back next year for certain. Thanks mate 👌
