It may look old but it was very well cleaned which made it comfortable for the stay

Not much i could say about dislike but just the parking inside is a bit squishy when trying to come in the driveway and there’s cars in the carpark, i had a family car which made it feel tight coming in. Lucky there was only a few cars around when i stayed which i could get out more easily.

Really generous size, that easily fit my family of 5, with a roll out bed. 50m from pub that had great food and service. Quiet as our motel room was set back from the street, and dark, our kids slept til 10am. Ages 4,6 and 8 🙌🏻 we were transiting from cairns to townsville after a flight from Bali. This really catered to our needs.

Older style motel which was comfortable for an overnight stay. Good location. Easy walking distance to the town centre and river. Owner was very friendly and we were given an upgrade to a family room which was very spacious with kitchen facilities, even a small oven as well as a microwave. Considering it was close to the main room there was very little traffic noise.

the room was spacious, conveniently located, it was a reasonable base as we were out all day. the towels were changed daily & the bins emptied.

Would have appreciated the carpet being vacuumed daily & the bed tidied. Parking was tight for a large vehicle.

Room size good, shower hot, bed comfortable. TV reception ok and WiFi ok. Price very reasonable

No power point by beds for sleep machine. The basin in ensuite too small, could not get jug or kettle under to fill, had to use a cup. Location on main highway but noise not issue since in built up area. Parking a little bit tight

Location was perfect and centre of town service was great the daily upkeep of our room was exceptional we will definitely be staying again

No microwave other than than that I cannot complain

Convenient location, comfortable, bed, room was very clean, air-conditioning worked really well, lots of additional items like hairdryer and ironing board etc. would highly recommend this motel.

Parking was a little tricky

Close to pub and restaurant for dinner…Room had everything in it to cook for yourself .. Was provided milk for coffee ..Easy check in ..Comfortable bed overall pretty good..

Great location, wonderful staff. Particularly liked being able to wash and dry my clothes for free!

Just a small thing...not being able to fit the electric jug under the faucet. Had to fill the jug by the cupful.

When we entered the property it looked old fashioned but the room was up to date and comfortable and we could park outside our room. The parking is rather cramped, probably a sign of the age of the property, when people didn't have such large vehicles. It is easy to walk to a supermarket. The man in reception was helpful and pleasant.
