We love Cashelmara and have stayed several times now. This beachfront apartment on the Esplanade is midway between North Burleigh SLSC and Burleigh and with direct access for beach strolls or walks along the path, you are not far from James St, restaurants and Burleigh Pavillion. Comfortable beds, stunning views, the sound of the ocean, well equipped kitchen and laundry as well as secure undercover parking really provides all you need for a relaxing break. Good communication and friendly, helpful management promptly attend to any issues that arise.

We (three people) stayed in unit 47 (15th floor); the view was amazing! The apartment was spacious and well-kept, and the experience exceeded our expectations. You're facing the ocean and hearing the waves all day. Good kitchenware, washer, dryer, and washing machine. The beds were comfortable but a bit too soft for my taste (personal preference). We rented a car and had access to a dedicated spot in the garage underneath the building. Burleigh Heads is a great location, and we loved our visit to Gold Coast. We didn't want our days to end, and we would easily go back and stay Cashelmara again. It's the type of apartment we could see ourselves moving into and living there.

We stayed for five nights, and we had to buy some basic things that we wished were already provided (e.g., salt, garbage bags, detergent, toilet paper, paper towel). The rubbish bins had bags on them, but no extra ones. There was no seasoning at all, so we had to buy salt and a few other things to season the food we got from the market. There were two small sponges to do the dishes but no detergent. There were two dishwasher tablets and two single-use soap bags for the washer (clothes). There were three toilet paper rolls in total (one in each bathroom and an extra one). Those are all minor things that didn't bother us much, but the experience would be even better if we didn't have to think about them.

We loved our stay! Great location just across from the beach and a short walk from some nice cafes. The print out with eating out recommendations was a nice touch and the places recommended were great. The staff were very attentive. The apartment itself was very beautiful, modern and clean. The kitchen was very well stocked to cook anything you want with lots of appliances and utensils. Very easy check in and check out process and handy to have secure parking included. Would love to stay again!

Nothing at all

The service is excellent, the entire complex is well maintained and the rooms are well equipped to make your stay relaxing. The owner Wendy was very helpful and shared the screen to show me how to get to the apartment from the train station and what bus number I should take. She also drove me to the train station when I missed my booked bus to Brisbane. And provide more information which train station should I get off from to my hotel in Brisbane. Wendy and her staff were very friendly when I needed their help. Overall, this is a neighborhood apartment as the park and beach are right opposite the apartment. There are supermarkets and cafes nearby, which is very convenient.

Beachfront location was amazing and so convenient. Spacious apartment, quiet, very clean and secure, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Lots of lovely restaurants close by and I loved the managers suggestion page on where to eat. We were lucky enough to see whales going by.

Renovation work going on at the time of our stay, (they were replacing windows and not in the unit we stayed in) so it wasn’t noisy at all but the pool wasn’t able to be used except on weekends. Understandable due to safety concerns but the kids mentioned it a few times.

located right on the beach front, great facilities, and comfortable, homely apartments. A portacot and highchair was provided for our baby at an additional cost which saved us from having to bring them in luggage. Parking was provided which was necessary as it is a busy street. Perfect location for swimming, nice walks and playgrounds, and a short walk from restaurants, shops and pubs.

There wasn't enough dishwashing liquid, bin bags or toilet paper. Additional sachets were provided only when we asked for them. This is the only thing that could be improved - providing some key items to make the stay more comfortable, but this was a minor issue in the context of a fantastic holiday.

The amenities were great , kitchen set up awesome , with great array of appliances and utensils etc for use , which made self catering east.

The lack of adequate supplies to accomodate a family of four for a 10 day holiday . I had to request additional bin liners ( only the 1 in the bin ), dishwashing detergent , dishwasher sachets etc . I really dont understand why a bottle of dishwashing detergent , dishwasher tablets , and bin liners are not provided based on length of stay. When I asked for additional bin liners I was initially advised that the units are self catering !. I’ve never had to buy bin liners or May of the supplies I requested on any other holiday !

Location of hotel - direct access to the beach. Close walking distance to restaurants & cafes. Clean & a nice atmosphere. A nice mix of relaxation, quiet & some action also. Lovely walking tracks, clean beaches & beautiful views. Burleigh is a nice central location for walking, definitely will stay here again.

The pool was unavailable for use. I didn't know this when I booked my accommodation, as there was works scheduled at the hotel. Considering I was only staying for 2 nights, it didn't really bother me & the weather wasn't that hot either.

The apartment was clean and very nicely furnished with a fully stocked set of kitchen utensils, click clack flooring, spacious rooms, beautiful outlook, lovely pool with a good selection of seating, easy street parking for extra vehicles, plus close proximity to beach. There was prompt communication with reception and all questions were answered clearly as well as our request for a non- carpetted apartment.

Only the waste bin and fabric couch could have been a little cleaner - otherwise everything else was very clean.

The apartment is just right across the beach.You can get a view of the beach and the sunrise from the balcony which is very relaxing.The area, which is The Esplanade is nice and quiet.The staffs in the reception are very nice and accomodating.Many thanks to them.

Though the apartment's location is right across the beach but it is a bit far from the shops and cafes.The closest you can get is 711 and Maccas and the Palm Spring Cafe right across the road. The town centre is about 20 minutes walk (one way) and so is Coles and Liquorland on the other side.If you drove down to the Gold Coast or hired a car then the distance to the shops is not a problem.The rooms need air conditioning.My son who is occupying the other room complained that it is hot.The balcony needs a nice table and chairs where you can sit out and have a meal and drinks with family and or friends overlooking the nice view of the beach.Our is just a little round table with two chairs.
