Lovely location opposite the park and wetlands, the information centre there is awesome! Didn’t hear any traffic considering it’s right on the highway, so that was a bonus. Mini bar was very handy. Bed and sofa were comfortable, we did bring our own pillows though. Very spacious bathroom and shower was nice and hot.

Arrived after dark, no milk provided in fridge for tea or coffee, and reception was closed to request some. ☹️ Had to set the sofa bed up ourselves, even though extra was paid and was known it was to be used, was the last thing we were expecting to do after driving all day.

Spacious room, good view, friendly staff, everything was thought of as far as items in the rooms, good location/access to other points of interest, undercover walkway to rooms, reception experience was excellent (as recommended by friends of ours).

Parking was wherever you could manage, but not necessarily close to room. Water leak in bathroom, floor/bathmat etc was soaked, neighbour was doing the yard (mowing etc) when we had just arrived after a three hour drive (that of course was just bad timing)!

Bit disappointing to find the restaurant was closed, perhaps a more updated website might have been useful. That said it was only a short walk into town to get something to eat. Could possibly screen of the railings around the pool area to make it more private from the busy road

whilst it was clean and comfortable some basic attention to upkeep required. silicone affecting silver on mirror mould under table base and mould behind front door. tiles need steam clean at front door and bathroom. very hospitable staff and helpful. just the usual attention required for a property of this age. quiet with easy parking. we enjoyed our stay and will try a family room next time.

Best location, right next to Tyto wetlands and walking distance to shops but still feeling like your out of town. Great views from our bedroom. The staff were so amazing and friendly. We had abit of a mishap with kids damaging wall and they were so understanding and helpful and made us feel at ease and enjoyed the rest of our stay. All round lovely place and will definitely stay there again 👌🏼🙂

Karen (I am not sure if she is the owner or not) was excellent. The Covid safe protocols are the hotels are fantastic. If you are concerned Covid traveller then this place has contactless check in, and excellent instructions to guests on the front door. After a woeful experience earlier in the day where we had to leave a place because it was Covid soup waiting to go off, the Tropixx provided us with a wonderful haven.

Nothing. Our stay was great. Even the fish and chip shop across the road is brilliant.

The lounge was old and not comfortable to watch TV on. In such a large room (family unit) a better lounge and better furniture layout is needed. You get neck strain trying to watch the tv which was very high on the wall.

Friendly Receptionist, clean and tidy room, comfortable bed. Undercover car parking was excellent and plenty of room to maneuver your vehicle.

Shame the restaurant had closed, it looked like a nice area to dine.

Our motel room suited our 3 night stay. The bed was comfortable. We were able to walk to the main street and Cole's was a 2 minute drive. The swimming pool was very welcoming at the end of a busy day out. The restaurant on-site isn't open but there are other options in town.

Large noisy aggressive party participants intimidated and disturbed most guests. Luckily our room was facing a different way and we weren't too disturbed. Police should have been called and evictions undertaken.
