Good location, behind the Outback Pioneers shop front on a main street. We booked a Standard Queen room, which was a little bigger than a standard motel room, in that you have a small kitchen/dining area, separate from the bedroom, which was nice. The bathroom is quite large, loads of cupboard storage space, very handy. The bedroom has a WIR with more storage space. Nicely decorated with a rustic ‘pioneer’ touch. Bed was very comfy, good air con. Kitchen facilities are good, has a sink, small fridge, microwave and a hot plate, along with all the usual kitchen supplies. Shower & hairdryer are good. Bathroom supplies include 2 small soaps, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion (quality toiletries), and plentiful supply of loo paper and facial tissues.

Oddly, the large kitchen window does not have a roller blind on it, whereas the smaller bedroom window does have a blind. The curtains on both windows are flimsy fabric, so there is zero blockout on the kitchen window. The morning light streams into the kitchen and the bedroom, as does the outside light that is on all night. If you are light sensitive, bring an eye mask! If a blind was installed on the kitchen window, I would have rated our stay 10/10.

Nice little setup ... The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was quite large and the kitchen eating area was brilliant.

Misinformation. .. when we checked in we asked about the restaurant on site and was advised it opens at 6pm, went to go to dinner to find out it was closed and not opening that night. Asked for directions to the local pub.. walking distance bonus. . found it no problem by the time we had dinner and returned everything had been closed up, this was about 7.30 - 8 so we had to go around the block and up the laneway in the dark .. look we were fine but for an older couple it would be a bit of a nuisance ... I personally think they should have mentioned that they closed up at a particular hour and you'll need to go around the block to get into your room ... Granted we didn't ask when they closed either.

An exceptional stone grill dinner at the restaurant, just fantastic, really recommend this as a fantastic experience and value for money. Excellent vegetable buffet, dessert buffet and candy bar- exceptional bed comfortable , facility close to town, no need to take car for dinner. Kitchenette provided if needed. plenty of milk provided.

All different levels in the room. when getting on in years little steps can be a trip hazard and are unsafe. Great I'll do my washing. all clothes in washing machine- My husband said I cannot hear the water going in, I said a bit slow, checked in 5 mins yes machine light On for washing - checked in 15 mins the light moved down past soak. checked after 40 mins machine still not finished, then after 1 hr. lifted lid- NO water NOT washed. Money refunded and had to walk across main road (in house clothes- embarrassing, in my bedroom or laundry would have been OK) to use their facility. brought back clothes to dry at our facility- took 2 lots of money to dry clothes. Car parking was a fair way from our room again up stairs to get to next level then a couple of steps to the room.

the location is fantastic. nice big room. awesome shower. comfortable bed

we were in a family room and there is no where to sit but at the table. had no idea how to check in, called a number and had to ask where they were, across the road in the end. silly how you can’t park your car in the property. there are old cars in the parking bays. had to park on street. restaurant was closed and the check in info said it was open.

It was clean, room size was great and good location to the Main Street.

The bed squeaked every time you moved. We were in the coach inn so every morning you got woken up early by the horses as they got them ready for the stage coach tour and then later in the day it was noisy with the tour group coming back and watching the next show, it was right outside the window and that’s where the people sit. I would book the Stable Rooms across the road if you want a quieter stay.

What a wonderful surprise in Longreach, this quaint establishment deserved more time. The room was a nod to history, but the amenities were all modern such a fabulous mix.

The only thing I had trouble with was where to place the suitcase. There were several shelves in the walk in robe, which we used for the suitcase, but it was to high for a comfortable view/reach.

Was a nice place to stay - loved the theme and the horse shoes as the door handles - very clever. Staff very welcoming on check-in. Didn't really have much interaction other than check-in.

The room needed a block out curtain or something similar on the main window by the door. There was always light coming in - from the normal outside lighting and when the sun came up it was like midday. Made it hard to sleep.

We really enjoyed the themed room with its outback atmosphere. There was plenty of bench space & themed necessities. The location on the main street was very convenient.

Even with a short shower the water pooled behind the toilet & couldn't drain away. The TV viewing angle from the queen bed was difficult.

It was a bit different to the usual motel type accommodation which was great. Having access to a laundry was welcome. Room was set up to be welcoming and contained everything we could need.

The parking ! Not having sufficient parking spots for the number of units is not acceptable. Especially as there was no where close to then park.

We loved the theme and all the decor everything was just perfect! The beds were comfy and everything we needed was provided. oh and I loved that you were given fresh milk not long life milk ❤️

The bugs!!! they are sneaky critters and we don't know how they got in but they got in . It was all good though as we worked out if we only turned the lights on as needed they weren't too bad and left us alone 🤣 Seriously though they weren't that bad much like flies they are part of the outback
