It is close to everything in town. Has nice friendly staff who are very helpful and try an answer any questions to the best of their ability. Comfortable beds and great pillows

I don’t like how the bathroom window has no curtain even though they are high up I also don’t like how you have to have your key on you at all times . If you leave the key in the room with the door and duck out to the car to grab a bag and the door slams shut you are locked out . Door stays locked at all times from outside and stays unlocked from the inside so that’s not good with kids .

It has a very nice garden. Very enjoyable. Very easy to find, just next to KFC. Great location, walking distance to restaurants, pubs, Woolworths, etc. Parking is right in front of the room, very convenient. Takes away the worry when the car is fully loaded. Has good recommendation posted in the room about the local business around the area for dinner.

Wished it has a kitchen sink. Cannot expect everything for what it is priced at. It is basic but has everything we need.

Beautifully set up little room, has everything you need to be independent. Comfortable beds, good amount of space. The gardens are absolutely next level.

My partner (2 metres tall) struggled with the shower. At the tallest point the shower head came below his shoulder. We would recommend putting the wifi password and some basic information in the rooms. We’re relatively local, however if we weren’t we would have been a little lost.

The Mandalay has a lovely garden and outdoor areas. Appreciated having crockery and cutlery and a microwave in the room. I also appreciated being able to check in early as I'd been camping the night before and rain was forecast! Surprisingly quiet at night given how close it is to a main road dealing with heavy vehicles. I slept well.

Originally our booking was for two people and unfortunately one of them couldn't make the trip. The room was rather small and would have been a tight squeeze if we'd both been there.

The staff are very friendly which was lovely after a very long day driving. I was so impressed that they knew where I could get a gluten free meal for dinner. Although very close to the highway the rooms were quiet. The room was very clean and had most of the amenities we were looking for. The building is old but it is well maintained and very clean so do not let that fool you.

The only issue we had was there was not a heater in the bathroom and we were traveling in a cold snap but it was a minor issue as the shower pressure and hot water was brilliant.

Really pretty and welcoming surrounds & gardens. The Mandalay is located on a busy corner in Roma, yet the traffic noise was sufficiently muffled to ensure we had a comfortable nights sleep and it was handy to everything we needed, staff friendly and helpful, room very comfy, great shower. Roma is a lovely and interesting town to visit.

The staff in this property were amazing, and the property itself was fabulous, instead of having to sit inside the room because of no facilities, there were 5 different locations in the garden you could sit instead of having to be locked inside doing nothing, you could be out enjoying nature!

Our hosts were so friendly and helpful. We booked about 4 hours before arriving and phoned to let them know we wouldn't arrive until after reception closed. About 10 minutes before we arrived we had an SMS telling us where the key was, which room was ours and that our light was on for us. When we arrived we went straight to our room which was very clean and comfortable. Not only were the lights on for us but the air conditioner was warming the room as well. Wonderful hospitality!

Our room had a new bathroom. Hot shower. Bed was okay. Wi-Fi worked well and there was plenty of desktop space. Car parking was good. Staff were helpful. Aircon/Heater worked well.

Room was a bit cramped, probably because it had a couch in it. A bit of road noise from semi-trailers at night.

Warm welcome at reception and the owner went out of her way to arrange safe parking spot for our 4wd and long trailer as promised Nothing was too much trouble and would highly recommend to anyone staying in Roma - Thanks Again
