We stayed in the lodges and the rooms were outstanding in the way of comfort and very spacious. They were beautifully decorated and had an amazing view. We also attended a wedding at the rainforest resort and the atmosphere was above expectations. The grounds were accommodating and very beautiful. It is the most amazing place to have a wedding. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately WiFi doesn't reach the lodges and it was difficult to reach people who were staying in other areas of the resort. We had to walk around attempting to find people or stay at the rainforest restaurant to get into contact with people if they were able to also get WiFi. The spa water was brown so we weren't able to use the spa and the TV reception cuts out constantly. Also, at the restaurant the food was very expensive and there isn't items available that are affordable if you are budgeting to be able to do the activities.

Great location and feeling about the place.

The rooms were ok, and expected to be over priced due to the location. The resturant was over priced for the food, I feel this is again due to a captive audience 2ho won't bother travelling. The wedding area down near the creek needs fans as it was very humid and myself and other guests were extremely uncomfortable. I do understand this is qld but we had people from Tasmania who struggled with no airflow. Thos was a common complaint in the party

The room was very nice, especially the chandelier. The setting, the landscape. The facilities and posible walks around.

Staff not being proactive: we were changing rooms and had to drag all the luggage back to reception for second night instead of letting us to store the luggage in the second room once it was emptied. It just did not make sense because of the distance we had to drag our luggage to. The lack of public transport. The food in the kiosk not being prepared fresh everyday.

I would highly advise any bride and groom wanting the hinterland setting, to look at this place. Everything is there, including excellent 1-2-3 bedroom cabins for your guests to stay rather than driving home. There was also heaps of activities to do there. Due to the beautiful wedding we attended, we didn’t get time to look into the activities, however I’m sure we will return in the future.

Great accomodation! Beautiful lawn in front of unit meant that we could enjoy breakfast outdoors, watching the local birdlife. Spa bath was also impressive!! Great selection of activities delivered on-site by external providers.

Parts of the property does need some TLC e.g. communal laundry area.

The vista lodge was exceptionally beautifully designed lodge even if it was only for one night, the outdoor shower was stunning the inside of the lodge was well designed, and the bed, was like sleeping on a cloud so soft, we loved it was very tidy and comfortable was the highlight of our trip away, thankyou

The rooms were clean and beautifully situated given the circumstances of the tornado that had ripped through on Xmas day the staff did there absolute best! Would definitely book again as the park activities looked like a tonne of fun! Meals were beautifully prepared and tasty!

Absolutely beautiful setting, surrounded by nature. Amazing rock pool swim and jam packed full of activities to choose from. Friendly staff and super well appointed and clean rooms with stunning views

Grounds were beautiful. And the restaurant (we had a light dinner) was way better than I had expected - really recommend. And very convenient to have great food given the location.

I couldnt see a light breakfast option. Only the buffet which wasn't suitable for our time.

Stayed in winter. Cosy fireplace in cabin, kitchen well provided.very comfy overall

The spa/jacuzzi bath was very noisy, couldn't use it. Bedside lights in room were too bright, and controlled from wall switch not bedside
