The location is great, close to shops cafe's etc. The restaurant is good with a wide variety of meals

The rooms are very comfy but for the price of $198 would like to have some hanging space & a full length mirror would be handy too! (maybe a single wardrobe with a mirror on the inside or outside of the door) The shower in room 5 was a good size, but very small in room 4 and could do with something to place your shampoo etc on instead of the upside down small rack that everything kept falling off!! whacked my head on the screen door every time I had to bend down to pick it up off the shower floor.

Beautifully located close to O'Reilly's vineyard. We were there before for a wedding and now are planning our own. It's ideal to stay and hire all rooms above the pub and they offer a courtesy bus to transport guests back and for to the vineyards. Rooms itself are small, but all newly renovated and historically kept with ensuites and a/c, tv. everything you need. The pub is very close to town, so you can walk easily there. Staff is very helpful. There is also a community room with microwave, toaster and fridge, lounge facilities.

It would be great to have an ironing board in the community lounge room for everyone's use and some coat hangers inside each room.

We really enjoyed our stay all the staff at the Hotel were fantastic. From Check in and onwards. Nothing was too much trouble. The atmosphere was great and the facilities were very good, very clean rooms/bathroom and the communal area was a great idea.

Only negative would be that we asked for 2 rooms close to each other but were situated at opposite ends but considering the 2nd room was for our adult children probably not a bad thing after all

We stayed here during the Canungra rodeo! It's a short 10-15 minute walk from the hotel to the rodeo. I was very impressed with the remodeled rooms and bathrooms within our room. Very comfy bed, nice bedding, and brand new bathroom with good water pressure.

The kitchen for the hotel closed a little earlier than we thought it would at 8:30 pm, so just something to be aware of if you're going to be out during the day and maybe getting back a bit later, you'll want to grab food while you're out.

Way too hot in lounge and kitchen areas upstairs , a little pricey I think for the room although it was freshly renovated to a good level. The wait for food on Saturday nite was quite long. All in all I would return , it’s a lot better than some country pubs but is a little More expensive ..

The hotel rooms having been recently refurbished. We were very impressed with the modernity and style of the bathrooms and the bed was extremely comfortable. Being an older hotel, the style of decor has been kept but maintained with a private lounge area for guests. It is in a great location for accessing Lamington NP, the wineries and Canungra has a lovely village feel.

Exceptionally clean and the friendliest staff you will ever meet. Quiet at night. The most comfortable bed ever. Good shower pressure, the area is green and lush and only 30 minutes to the water. We had a wonderful time, thanks guys. Andrea and Denise.

There is a staircase to the beds, but they have good hand rails, and although I arrived in a moon boot,because I broke a bone in my ankle the staff helped me with my bags and were courteous and kind. We will be back

The rooms were cosy and quiet and had such a comfy mattress which allowed Me to have the best Sleep in In a long time. The ensuite bathroom was clean and spacious. The relaxed atmosphere outside in the bar and garden bar was a great place to unwind. And have a beautiful meal. We can’t wait to Come back

Nothing, the property is really nice, but I picked a terrible time to visit, nye which included torrential rain, thunder and eventual flooding I wasn’t sure I’d be able to get out of. Yikes

Location was great. Facilities were clean and comfortable. The rooms were nicely renovated. Great place for an overnight stay. Could not hear noise from the bar downstairs which is a plus.

A mini bar fridge in the room would have been great. Only other downside was being able to hear other guests conversations between the walls of the rooms.
