I loved how the staff were super friendly and offered 24 hour check in as we got in later after driving from Melbourne. It was also really safe as the security would check to see if you had a room key when entering at night. Also such a great location very close to Adelaide oval and the mall. we were there for Gather Round and I love how the bar was decorated and showed all of the games live on the tv. The room was serviced daily and was very spacious and clean.

I didn’t like paying for parking for the car in the hotel car park. I also would have loved to have Fox Footy and other sport channels on the tv in my room as I like watching the recaps of the day as we were there for Gather Round. I would also like more dessert options on the all day menu.

Location - good, felt like we could comfortably get anywhere within the CBD walking (we did not hire a car for this trip) and to get further tram, bus or taxi seemed easy to access. Room - in my humble opinion, fantastic. Hotel - really nice facilities, apples in a bowl when exiting lifts on our floor for customers was appreciated, nearly everything you could want in the premise. Breakfast and dinning facilities, good. Bar at ground floor - really nice. All staff - Bar, dinning, front desk etc all helpful and friendly. Dinning and bar area: Food - great. Service - very good, friendly polite helpful staff.

Only one thing - bit more clarity on what expenses are paid for on arrival and what will be paid on departure. When arriving and leaving - as we had not fully understood what was or was not paid for when the card was scanned, when we were leaving we were told we still had the room and meals to pay for and needed the card to scan again (we thought they were doubling on the payment) so we were a bit taken back with that. Took a bit of patience and sorting to get finalised. Lucky we had no problem with the card, could have been embarrassing.

Fabulous location right in the midst of the CBD. Room was clean, spacious and comfortable, beds were great. Staff highly professional. Loved the lobby and bar areas. You can catch a free tram around the city and take in Adelaide's beautiful North Terrace precinct and the Central markets near Victoria Square. You can shop in Rundle Mall, a short walk away, and you can purchase groceries at many places within a short walk.

It was difficult to find any rubbish bins or rubbish chutes so I had to take rubbish into the street to dispose as we had a long stay.

Loved my stay at this hotel. Requested a quiet room and received a wonderful room away from the lifts and most other rooms. Comfortable bed and huge bathroom with walk-in shower and bath tub. Complimentary toiletries. Close to Rundle Mall and the tram to Glenelg. Not too far to the bus stop also. Staff went out of there way to ensure that I had a wonderful stay and met all my requests. Appreciated using the hotel gym. So clean and tidy, Will stay again.

There was a bright green light on all night (I think it was the fire alarm light). Is there something the hotel can do about this as it disrupted my sleep.

The hotel was very clean, the staff were friendly, beds were very comfortable. The pool area is great for both kids and adults, the poolside menus was great. I also liked that they took my special dietary requirements seriously. The food and drinks were reasonably priced with good sized servings.

The pool or spa water stripped the colour from my swimmers which has never happened to them before. The water did irritate my skin a bit also. The staff assured me the water is tested every day so I’m not sure what happened. There is definitely room for improvement on the cocktails.

that there was absolutely nothing to dislike disciple great especially at the front desk. Building has 12 floors so a lot of guests coming going. The main building a setback from the street, quite a bit, so it’s actually really quiet, although you can still hear the city streets a little bit we all like that I think. Has its own underground car park in the basement which is very secure much better than having to park the car in a public car park and risk it burn rain check that sometime during stay so that was an absolute bonus . There’s nothing I can fault about this hotel as there’s absolutely nothing that stood out is something we didn’t like gym, sauna swimming pool restaurants bars are good atmosphere, considering the room I stayed in and it was a executive King with a balcony in the corner of the building so that was quite a pleasant surprise or treat. I guess you could say is it certainly added extremely good value your D3 $134 I paid for two nights and three people. To the grand chancellor, on Heinley Street, thank you very much thank you very much for the welcoming atmosphere and great place to stay on the surely get back again soon .

as above but the exec king with balcony was absolutely fabulous Bobby Brown the best rooms of stayed in think I’ve booked the same room next time. If it’s not booked out every time I try after giving it such a good rap

Great location for walking to fringe events and terrific restaurants. Helpful staff, clean rooms, comfortable beds. It was surprisingly quiet given it is situated on a main road with lots of clubs and lots of street activity.

Disappointed that parking wasn't included in the price which wasn't obvious when I booked the venue. The builders were nice and respectful, but they made a lot of noise as they changed over the key system which took quite a few hours. Perhaps this could have been scheduled floor by floor where the rooms weren't booked out on that level.

I wasn't expecting such a great view, we could see down to Glenelg and there were no buildings obstructing the view. The room had a lovely little sitting area with an ottoman and table. The bed was very comfortable and the room was perfect. We stayed in 817, I think up to 820 was well away from the lifts, it was very, very quiet. Hindley Street has a few homeless people but the keep to themselves. The location is great, walking distanced to everything.

The pillows were too high and the water temperature in the shower needs to go up a couple of degrees, it was lukewarm.
