The location was fantastic, room was lovely with a small self contained kitchen (you can book bigger rooms with bigger kitchens if needed) there was secure parking behind a boom gate for your car. A short walk to Salamanca Markets if you are there on a Saturday. Lots of different eateries within walking distance. Grocery shopping available at Salamanca Fresh which is open 7 days a week and has beautiful fresh foods and is a 8 minute walk from the accomodation. You could also walk all around the waterfront area which is very big. From here we went to Bruny Island for 1/2 a day, drove to the top of Mt Wellington, went to Salamanca Markets, explored the local area which has lots of lovely artistic type shops. Beautiful area will be back!

That we only stayed for 4 nights!! There was still so much to explore.

The apartment (1 bedroom) was older style but very generous in size. It had everything we needed and we were very comfortable. We loved that the apartments were so close to lots of restaurants and a fresh food shop with some pre prepared options as well a huge range of fresh produce. The piece de resistance was the fact that the world famous Salamanca Market was just around the corner at roughly a 30m walk! All of this on the doorstep and yet a very quiet area.

There was nothing to not like. The apartments could do with an update but that wouldn't stop me from booking again. Whilst a bit dated, the apartment was spotless.

Location was great . Right in the CBD of Hobart . There was no issues with parking. Both staff on the reception desk when we checked in and checked out were very nice . Very spacious rooms . Televisions with cable channels in all the bedrooms as well as the lounge area . The room was serviced whilst we were there . Having a toilet and wash basin downstairs were an added convenience that saved more trips upstairs to the bathroom there .

We are not a fan of the shower over the bath idea but we made do . We would have preferred a separate washing machine and dryer instead of the combination washer/dryer . We came back to the room while they were servicing it which we were perfectly fine with them being in there while we were there and they were very apologetic and in their rush to leave the room they accidentally left the upstairs bedroom balcony door open which we didn’t realise until the following morning when it seemed to be quite noisy in the bedroom compared to the night before. An innocent mistake and we probably should have checked the doors like we did when we arrived initially .

It was in a great location, right on Salamanca Place, with heaps of restaurants and shopping on the doorstep. The apartment was clean and spacious and had all of the facilities needed for a short stay. And the gentleman who checked us in was lovely, too.

The apartment was perfect. The only thing I’ll mention is that the stairs up to the second floor were quite noisy when you walked on them. It didn’t bother us but I’m not sure if the neighbouring apartments could hear it as we clumped up and down the stairs.

Great location in Battery point, an easy 5min walk to Hobart's wharf precinct (Ferry departure to MONA) and a good selection of restaurants/bars/fresh food market on Salamanca Place and just 50m from the Salamanca markets held on Saturdays. Parking is free and located within the apartment complex. We had no issues finding a park every day we returned to our accommodation, which was a bonus considering how close we were to the wharf and attractions. The apartment was spacious and clean with good facilities (washer/dryer in good sized bathroom) and full sized fridge and kitchen. We had an issue with our booking which was partly our fault but the Manager was open to discussion and the issue was resolved politely and quickly - Customer Service like it should be, but seems to be a rarity nowadays.

Check-in was quick and easy, with lovely smiling reception staff. Good parking facilities. Great location with easy acces to all Salamanca restaurants and stores, galleries and the wharf areas. Very comfortable bed, very good curtains. Good kitchen facilities and equipment. Really quiet location. Helpful staff with my enquiries. Was able to leave car in carpark for a while after check-out on a quiet Sunday - Thank-you !

Key card system caused a little problem on arrival - but quickly resolved by attentive manager.

We had an excellent stay at Salamanca Terrace. Perfect for Salamanca Market, only few steps away. Lot's of restaurants close by and only 4 mins walk to local grocery if you needed anything. Everything in the description was right, with free parking is a bonus. They offer buffet breakfast, and have a daily room service. We'll be back for sure.

There's nothing that we didn't like.

Excellent location for restaurants, shops, ferry, Battery Point. Spacious apartment. Great to have washer/dryer even though dryer took hours. Free parking on site.

Very noisy very early in the morning due to location (street cleaner and rubbish trucks every day). Can also be loud at night due to loud people right outside walking up Salamanca Place.

We have stayed at Salamanca Terraces on many occasions. It is in walking distance to many cafes,restaurants, the harbour,ferrys, daytrips you name- it its handy to a multitude of shopping and attractions. The apartments are well appointed with a very usable kitchen if you want to cook the fresh produce from the markets on Saturdays. It is also a short walk up to Battery Point which has more great cafes and is steeped in historic buildings. The apratments have security parking, so if your out on a day trip you know that you can always park the rental close to your home away from home.

Nothing that warrants mentioning.

I love staying here. It's comfortable, and clean and we have stayed a few times. Lovely view. Close to everything we need, and everyone that works here is polite and helpful, including the cleaners.

I can't say I don't like anything, but being the Penthouse, it would be great if the shower wasn't so small and thin over the bath. Not really a complaint though.
