The room was surprisingly spacious, neat, clean, and there was daily room service that is not typical in the post covid era. The location is good for a traveler, it is some way from the town center but for a motel where one arrives by car it is not a problem. The room was well soundproofed from the outside, it is close to busy highway but no noise could be heard.

Carpet was a bit battered, and the bed rolled away from the wall as I moved at night. Apparently there is no 24/7 reception although there is a phone number to call in case one arrives outside of those hours.

Room 4 was simple, clean, quiet and comfortable, with everything we needed for an overnight stay after a long drive. The aircon was very efficient and quiet on a hot day; the shower was hot with great water pressure; having a microwave was very useful, with plates and cutlery provided. This all made our short stay very easy. While we didn't use the indoor pool, it looked very clean and included a spa and shallow wading pool. I imagine some guests would love this.

Nothing really ... for the price this was a great option for us. My daughter commented on the 'thin walls' and hearing guests upstairs walking across their room, but this didn't bother me 🙂

Not Booking.com keeping my money for the cancelled day. That's stealing.

I changed my booking but you have not refunded me and you even refuse to acknowledge all communications I have sent. Why will you not communicate with me and refund my money for the cancelled day. The property owner refuses to refund me as they say it is booking.com that has kept my money. Keeping the money is a crime so refund please.

Decent sized room with x2 queen beds and x1 single. All beds were comfortable. Short drive into the main part of town. Clean bathroom, lots of towels and room. Indoor pool and spa (closes at 8pm) - both heated, good temperature for Melbourne, towels available at reception. Reception staff were lovely. Facilities available - toaster, kettle, microwave & fridge Be aware when booking that family size rooms are upstairs. Plenty of parking on site. Fairly quiet, be aware on main road so can hear little bit of traffic at times. Security was also good for upstairs corridor as need code to get in.

Few more power points for kitchen appliances. Only 1 point next to microwave, double would be better. Would be great to have a couple of plates and more cutlery available. Only had glasses, teaspoons and teacups & saucers. At next reno probably worth doing the shower base.

Reception was super quick and easy with great suggestions for local restaurants. Room was very clean and well presented, bathroom was also very clean, spa bath was the cleanest I've seen in a while. Room was fairly quiet most of the time, with the exception of normal 'road train' traffic coming through.

Bathroom fan was not working (i didn't get to mention this to staff - guys room 29 fan not working FYI) but lucky i was travelling solo and only had to share bathroom smells with myself. The aircon when 'clicking' in to reheat the room was fairly abrupt and scared the absolute schnitz out of me when laying in the bed as the unit is located above your head.

Older building but rooms have been renovated (great colour scheme) and are very comfortable. Staff were really pleasant and helpful. Great that a complementary bus service and meals by a local club was promoted. Good tourist info available and wifi.

There was some minor hallway noise from other guests, the room had most things except bowls, and it helped to drive to nearby food options as the walk wasn’t ideal.

The Pool & Spa was great. Location good. The shower was amazing. Air conditioning was fabulous also. The bed was very comfy. Great value for money. Will definitely stay here again & recommend Westlander to anyone. We loved it ! 👍

No Netflix or movies to watch and could do with a bigger tv. Not enough power points for charging phones etc. Power point behind bed did not work. Didn’t have room service running or restaurant open.

I stayed twice and the rooms were beautifully clean , beds comfortable, shower hot and pressure perfect. I liked the security and friendly welcome. The first room ( 18 I think ) had run out of hair conditioner which isn’t a big deal . My hair needed extra volume! Room 10 has a faulty kettle which requires hand pressure to make the electrical connection for boiling. Thanks for the stay . As

As winter sets in not sure how eroded the outer car park area will get. In terms of location and room comfort it was well worth the stay. No complaints.

Room 33 was very tidy and in great condition. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Shower area was clean and water was hot. Was good that toilet is separated from the shower for privacy. Very convenient that car park is at the front door. Room 33 is also next to the laundry room which is super convenient.

You may hear the sound of passing trucks, although not loud and not too frequent at night. Bear in mind the office closes at 8pm, so if arriving after then, will need to make arrangements.

The room was bigger than an average motel room. Bed was comfy and the shower pressure was excellent. The lady who handled my booking was excellent and I was able to organise a cooked breakfast brought to my room at short notice. It was fantastic value

You could hear people walking around upstairs, other than that there wasn't anything to dislike
