What a comfortable, well equipped hidden little gem. Stayed here overnight traveling from Canberra to Mt Gambier. A great place to stop halfway for a comfortable night's rest. Air con works really well on a very hot day. Bed was so comfy! Tucked away behind the road so it is quiet but a short stroll to eateries and the river walk.

Looks a bit average on the outside as it's an older build but don't judge a book by it's cover.

Loved the fact that the rooms, linen and general facilities were all reasonably modern inside. The wifi had a decent download speed too, which was appreciated. I always find that the 'bulk' shower gel dispenser is always a better option for these places (which this place had) than individual soaps and miniature bottles, saving on waste.

The noise levels in these places is always quite high, given the variety of people and reasons for staying there. I was fortunate to be very tired following a long drive, so it wasn't a problem for me to get to sleep. Perhaps on check-in people need reminded that they are sharing an area with others, and to be respectful of that.

Conveniently located off the highway. The kitchenette was very useful. The 'local' was nearby where we had a very pleasant evening meal and drinks

Natural lighting was not provided in the bedroom area.

Located behind a building screening out the traffic noise. It was very quiet and private. The beds were very comfortable and the TV was a good size. Very short walk to a great hotel with good meals. Nice size shower and large bathroom. Good value - will stay again.

The Owner/Manager was incredibly helpful & understanding when I locked myself out of my Room. He talked me through a solution & waited until I was in my Room & had found my mislaid keys that were in my room. all the time talking me throughout via phone.

There wasn't anything that I didn't like about this motel stay.

Doesnt Look too promising when you arrive,but its just the outdoor shell of an old Motel They did a good paintjob though And on the inside I never had a better shower in australia All nicely renovated 10/10

Good facilities; shower that doesnt leak into the bathroom, decent sink to fill kettle. Very comfortable and value for money

Just a strong cleaning or room freshner smell when I walked in but all good after window opened

I found the bed comfortable. Even though the room was not stylish or large it was very adequate for my needs as a woman travelling alone. I appreciated the cleanliness of the room and bathroom. The fact it is set off the street made it quiet. It was good value for money.

I would have liked some biscuits to have some biscuits with my cup of tea.

I loved that my room was upgraded at no cost to me and it was in a quiet private area off the main road in Seymour. I will be using Auto Lodge for all my stays from now on in Seymour. Thankyou

Very good room apparently recently refurbished. I've paid a lot more for a lot less in lots of places including Seymour. Happens be an easy walk to the Royal Hotel bistro as well.

The bed was a bit too soft!
