Fabulous room, beautifully appointed, with toaster, kettle and a full sized fridge! Large bathroom too. Loved the pool and the loungers. Lots of nice touches such as pool towels and shower room near the pool. Walking distance to the shops as well. Staff are great too.

Sadly we weren't there when the pizza was available but I'm told the food is fabulous. I hope to go back soon. The gardens could do with a bit of a tidy up but could not fault the room itself, so do not judge this book by its cover!

I loved the ruralness of the location, the closeness to the bus stop and the layout of the room. The cleaning staff offered daily to service the room; however, since the covid shutdown, I refuse entry once I check in because I further sanitize my space. There was a fantastic crystal shop I happen-stanced on within walking distance to downtown Lancefield.

There were some noisy guests that were assigned on both sides of me on the second or third night; I had to put in earplugs to get sleep. It was annoying because it appeared the rest of the lodge was vacant. The available food choices were decent but overpriced as a guest. I'm a US citizen, and unfortunately, we're mostly addicted to sugar, so the food wasn't as tasty as I would've liked.

We stayed over Christmas eve and through to Boxing day, so had little interaction, nor expectation of it. Simply grateful for the opportunity to stay and be able to enjoy time with family in the area. The room was ideal for our need, with a TV, fridge, microwave and toaster. The shower was superb. Although not used by us, the bar and outdoor dining area looked fabulous - rustic and relaxing.

The bathroom, compared to the main room, was a little dated (but made no material impact on our comfort or enjoyment).

Very well maintained property. Our king size bed was so dreamy to sleep in and the reverse cycle aircon kept us toasty, even when it was below freezing outside. The room is well stocked, including an espresso machine with yummy coffee. Parked directly outside our room too.

Sadly the restaurant was closed when we stayed, but heaps of places to eat in town.

The beds were extremely comfortable, the shower was BLISS- the service exceptional. We were in VIC for an unexpected family emergency and the comfort was greatly appreciated. We want to come back in summer to experience the great outdoor amenities and think it would be a brilliant place for a family reunion or small function!!

great location, especially during autumn time with the superb colour change of the foliage. Great restaurant which has a limited but great menu. Our room was very spacious with a great bed. Staff had switched on the r/ cycle Airconditioning so room was nice and warm on our arrival in the cold evening.

The only negative for us was the service in the restaurant , my husband was served his meal ( superb vegetarian pizza ) when I had almost finished my meal, again fantastically cooked rare to medium rump steak served with Dutch carrots, broccolini and mashed potato with a hint of garlic. If I had waited until his meal was served mine would have been cold.

Very comfortable and spacious units, with stylish decor & features. We appreciated the basket of mini-bar treats for purchase. They were priced at a very reasonable rates. The Bar and Restaurant at The Lancefield Lodge was excellent & we enjoyed dinner there. The hosts were very friendly and the place had a good vibe. You can easily walk into Lancefield village from the Lodge. Lots to explore nearby by car - wineries, Woodend, Mt Macedon & Hanging Rock.

The bathroom fan was attached to the bathroom light switch which was rather annoying and very noisy. The Lancefield Lodge is on a main road which can be sometimes noisy.

The location is quite lovely ,we took a lovely walk round the grounds and had a spectacular sunset view from our room Kate at reception was simply marvellous at sorting a couple of special needs we had ,couldnt have been looked after better.Breakfast was absolutely perfect, barrista coffee and all

we could have read the provided information regarding leaving windows open and bug spray in the cupboard...but didn't..

Danielle was so welcoming and helpful. We dined at the Home restaurant (on site) & we both ordered steak … seriously THE BEST STEAK we have ever eaten! The rooms were extremely clean and well decorated, in a perfect location. The facilities (pool, sauna and tennis court) are excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will definitely be back again … Thank you 😊

I was greeted by the friendly proprietor and introduced to her husband. The rooms were large clean and neat, beds were comfortable. There was a manual coffee machine in the room but we didn’t use it. It was great to have some crockery and toaster to make breakfast, as well as washing up things. We ate at the restaurant which we enjoyed. It was great to have the option of a meal onsite after a long day on the road.

Maybe it was due to an event on the weekend we were there but thought it was a bit on the pricey side for what you got. Maybe it’s the proximity to Melbourne and the desirability of the area? There was a BBQ area and table to sit at which was rather “rustic”. We used this area to eat our lunch outside, it could have done with a bit of a tidy up.
